No response from owner. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

15-Nov-11
The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. I'm temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary. Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 21 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.

05-Nov-11
Needs archiving. There is probably no cache there, and even if it is, we doubt it could be called a 'geocache'. Time to say goodbye, we think.

05-Nov-11
I second that.

21-Oct-11
Grr! (again!). We found the only obvious hiding spot, and knowing our botany reasonably well - it is definitely not there.

Can the CO at least disable the cache so it doesn't appear in listings and pocket queries, and so us cachers don't waste our time looking for nonexistant containers (well, judging by the previous logs, we doubt it was a container at all...).

The owner hasn't logged in for a few months, so it may be a case of Needs Archived.

29-Jul-11
Doubt this one is there. Spent a few mins looking and then gave up. Did with agcnz on a weekend caching spree.

29-Jul-11
....or blown away Sad

28-Jul-11
Sad This looks like it has been disturbed.

07-Jul-11
I was off eastwards today for a hunt for caches. Or really I found what was left of the logbook.

I agree that it should be either archived or fixed up.

Cheers for the cache.

26-Jun-11
Etched my name into the duct tape. The log very wet and lying on the floor next to the empty beer cans...

18-Jun-11
The packet was very small and difficult to find.
The peice of tape that you were ment to write on was so old that it crumbled when i tried to write on it(i put a new peice of paper in it so dont worryRazz

05-Jun-11
Found the bag with duct tape. Very poor condition as popular teen drinking spot & cache has obviously been spotted. Nice walk though & not hard to find.

21-May-11
4225 Nice spot shame that all that is left of the cache was ziplock bag and duct tape and signed as per Kiwileon. Maintenance is definitely needed! Thanks

14-May-11
Had a look and found the ziplog bag with the duck tape.
This needs to be replaced or archived!

14-May-11
It was only when I could not find it that I looked at the last log. So no luck today

13-May-11
I might as well log it too then, since I found the ziplog bag with the tape.....

17-Apr-11
Only empty bag remaining - contents need replacing.

16-Apr-11
Found the plastic bag wrapped with silver duct tape but no contents - therefore needs replacing.

27-Feb-11
Didn't spend too much time here given the 4 DNF's previously. We were in the obvious spot and it looks as though this is a meeting place for the local kids. We could not find any trace of a cache. We suggest the cac
he owner check this to confirm it is still there or disable this until replaced.

11-Feb-11
No luck for me either....

30-Jan-11
No luck for me today

25-Jan-11
Much looking, no success.

14-Jan-11
We spent ages looking for this cache and couldn't find it, there was workers cleaning the reserve and mowing the grass but doubt they did anything to it. Will hopefully get another time to look for it.

09-Jan-11

07-Jan-11

[After dropping one of the future-finders off at a nearby school for a preliminary visit, I thought I would have a look for this cache. With the rain coming down and one look at GZ I assumed I was about to get very wet and frustrated. Turns out the rain was an advantage rather than the predicted hinderance. The heavy rain had exposed a corner of the cache and I spotted it immediately. Took it back to the car to sign in the dry. I am sceptical about the long-term waterproofness of this container. Returned the cache to GZ and recovered with natural camo. Cheers for the cache!]

[SPOILER ALERT!] It seems to me that the reason that their is such a high percentage of DNFs (from very experienced cachers) is because the co-ords are out. I would of taken new ones, but it was raining... The co-ords take you to the right "clearing", but the wrong tree. You want the tree at the other end. Cache is not exactly at the base, more like 50cm away under natural camo.

04-Dec-10
Found a fairly obvious spot, about the size of a cache container, might warrant another check next time you are in the area, we alloted at least 15 minutes of time to this puppy.

DNF.

20-Nov-10
Nothing at the co-ords, checked the clue, then all the trees in the area, but nothing found. Lost interest.

14-Nov-10
DNF

12-Nov-10
I was surprised how quiet this nice park was, after work hours. had a good hunt round; the clue doesn't help much when your GPS points too far away. Second of 3.

31-Oct-10
Nothing at the base of any tree in the area, thrashed about in the flax for five minutes or so, but soon lost interest.

31-Oct-10
DNF Fortunately we were busted by muggles before we could succumb to the toxins of this flaxen forest.Big Grin

22-Oct-10
Nothing to be found at the base of any tree within a 15m radius of published co-ords. The grass has recently been "cut" so not sure if gardeners have got this one. Got to 0m and none of the 3 trees there were hiding a cache. Sad

great spot

17-Oct-10
Went for a quick look, GPS spot on but DNF, still I hate Harekeke but checked where clue said but nothing there. Had thought about placing a cache there myself...
Cheers.

15-Oct-10
Great spot to hide a cache. Nicely hidden from all the prying eyes around the park. Quick find. Thanks.
