Cache is obliviated should have read the comments beforehand as to not have wasted a trip here.
Found on the ground and broken. Have messaged CO with a photo to let them know.
Cache was found on the ground, completely destroyed, cracked and empty. Needs new container and log.
Found cache and signed the log in a spare bit of white. However the cache is broken, cracked right open, and the log probably gets a soak every time it rains. Nice location, must be incredible after heavy rains. TFTC.
Found, in need of a little TLC (a lot to be honest) and a new log, not enough room to sign today. Good cache though, cheers
We took a much-needed walk after a very enjoyable but very long family lunch in town. Spotted from a distance. Signed one of the logs and returned with a bit of cover. Thanks morgans2320.
For the record the song in my head - "Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band - Turn The Page"
I came up to Maitland today to go the caravan and camping show. After getting bogged in the van twice within the past 12 months and both times being in situations where I was far from help and without reception I figured it was time to find something that could help me out. I do the majority of my caching alone so if I get bogged it's not as though I've got anyone who can help me out, especially out in the middle of a national park... I found a cool product called "Bog Out" which seemed to suit my needs and as luck would have it the guy selling the things had a stall at the show. So I decided to come up to ask him some questions and hopefully purchase one (which I did). It's always a nice sweetener also when you know you can grab some caches from a new area!!
I found this one late in the day just before it was starting to get dark. I pulled up at the end of the road and parked my van behind another van out the front of an old run down house. I got out of the car to hear the sounds of an electric guitar being played from the house and the voices of people talking. I quickly made my way up the hill and out of sight from the house only to see people walking down the path with their dogs towards me. It was going to take them a few minutes to get to me so I decided to go down and have a look at the water. There is a lot of debris here and some very high up. I wonder whether it was left behind from floodwaters or made it up some other way.
When the people had walked away I made my way up to have a look around for the cache. Going off the hint there was something I was looking for in particular but couldn't spot. As the light started to fade it was getting harder to spot anything. I expanded my GZ a bit and spotted a couple of likely spots. Upon shining the torch on my iphone I noticed something a bit different and was able to retrieve the cache. Whilst this process was all occurring the person playing the guitar was singing/playing Bob Seger - Turn the Page, a song that I really like! As I headed down to the car he was still singing it and I actually left my door slightly ajar so I could hear the song finish before I drove away. He did a good job and part of me wanted me to start clapping or yell out encouragement in the hope that he would hear, but I wasn't sure how that would be taken lol
TFTC cheers

Headed into Maitland to do some shopping, and grabbed a few caches in the area.
Cache was found after a short search, signed and replaced.
River flow was down very low today.
Many thanks for placing this cache, morgans2320, for us and others to find.

Quick find. Lovely view from here. No muggles today due to poor weather. TNLN TFTC
A quick walk to a familiar spot, we watched some fish jumping around for a while until muggles passed then quickly found the cache
Catching up on some caches done while on holidays.
After a full day of driving and caching starting to get a little tired. Decided to do this one to make number 10 for the day. Arrived just as the local high schoolers were heading out for a sports afternoon so kids everywhere. I like a school that has fishing as a sport. Saw lots of kids heading down to the river for the sport.
However back to caching - soon found the cache, now how to retrieve it with so many spectators. Easy - wait until they have settled down to their fishing, play tourist for a while and sit in the shade and enjoy the river views. When nobody is watching a quick dash to the hiding location, retrieve the cache and back to the grass to sign. Return cache to hidey hole on the way back to the car. Now back to the motel for a short rest before dinner.

Quick grab on my lunchbreak while visiting the area.
Really needs a new log sheet. Had to squeeze my x inbetween others...

Finally the Hunter. I would love to see the river when it is in full flow.
The cache was a bit disappointing though.
No genie popped out.

Really cheeky cache! Knew the location from my regular walking route. Was fun to find a sneaky cache here
Easy find when the phone decides to track properly. As stated previously, a new log is required. T4TC. Chambos
A quick stop off on the way home from work. I walked three hundred meters past it, so as to allow a person walking to go past. When I got back I walked around in circles a bit before noticing something that the cache was hiding behind. Signed the log and was on my way.
Thanks for the late afternoon find!
Thanks for the late afternoon find!
My GPS wanted me in a different spot so I ruled out a couple of other places before striking GZ. Once I had the right spot though, the cache was quickly located and my name added to the log... [^]
All done, I tucked it away, added some camo and moved on.
Cheers morgans2320.

TFTF! Took me to a part of Maitland I haven't been to before, and introduced me to a beautiful riverside walk... Thanks!
After not having much luck at all it was nice to finish with a nice and easy cache to find to end the night. Parked right up to it, signed it and placed it back. TFTC
Really nice, easy, stop and grab one. I found a Munzee while there too. (By accident) Nice spot. Good cache.

While I had been in Maitland a few times over the years I had never been down this end of town.
With no muggles it was soon sussed out.
