Wow, I've walked past this hundreds of times and never realised there were stairs down to the river here. Very cool!Cache log is damp but ok. TFTC!
A quick find after doing the lap of the two ALs nearby with the kids. TNLN TFTC
Found it! Wet, cold and windy day so focusing mostly on AdLab stages around the suburbs today rather than physical caches. Grabbed this one while completing the nearby AdLab. TFTC!
I completed a lab and saw I was almost on top of a traditional cache. Good placement. TftC
Nice and easy find in the obvious place after doing the Ad Lab stage. Plenty of raucous parrots around today.Coming to the end of my time here in Adelaide and SA and the thought that I'd be here until Monday is now likely a Thursday departure. A few things going on for work today so not too much time for distractions, got a few when I could, and when it was appropriate that I was in the area anyway. Thanks to all COs for their hides and ongoing maintenance.
Last day of my Mega experience in Adelaide I decided to stay local and pick up some urban caches before returning the car and heading back to Brisbane.Upon arriving at a suitable spot to park the car I made my way quickly to ground zero whereupon it did not take long to locate the prize. Log extracted and mark made, I was quickly back to the car and off on the next geocaching adventure.A big thanks to the cache owner for placing this cache and making it available to be found.Cheers

In Adelaide from WA (Boys Trip!) for the mega The Great Leap Forward Here with AlliedOz, Granett, Kyzabra and The Fitzys. Were out and about for the different events also finding a few caches around town along the way. Thanks to all for organizing the mega and to the cache owners for sending us on all the different adventures, with many laughs along the way thanks Boys ????
A plan was put together after I casually mentioned the SA Leaping Mega at one of our camping events in the wheat belt in WA last year, fast forward to the end of February 2024 and we are here for a whirlwind visit, in late out early (mostly thanks to a flight change robbing us of 9 hours here) for some quality caching and meet ups in our limited windows. Out today with Kyzabra, Granett, Rokadz and The Fitzys... all in town from WA. A beautiful day to be out collecting smiles with some solid plans on what and where, but as always the best laid plans... _______________This cache made the tight list and found in no time. ________________Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache smersh you help make the game what it is today, loved that we could make it a find on our Leaping Mega adventure, cheers AlliedOz
Popped over for The Great Leap Foward MEGA event with a few fellow cachers from Perth. Were getting out and about while were here grabbing a few finds in between all the events. Im travelling with KYZABRA, Alliedoz, Granett and ROKADZ (all from WA) to see how much fun we can make caching over the next couple days. Thanks very much for the hides ands showing us a bit of Adelaide.
6 months ago, during a frenzy, we said to ourselves "why not going to the mega in Adelaide for the leapday". From scratch we moved on to preparing an 18-day project in Australia. Our objectives are simple, visit a small part of this immense continent while validating a few caches. There are so many caches (impossible to do everything) that we will select. Our plan will allow us to visit Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Mount Gambier and finish in Adelaide for the famous Mega.Today, it's a great day, the day of Mega.We passes a fun day, a lot of meet and some caches Easy. GoodThanks for this cache
Over from WA with AlliedOz, Kyzabra, rokadz and The Fitzys for a whirlwind couple of days based around The Great Leap Forward Mega event, [(GCA1DNA)](https://coord.info/GCA1DNA). Finished up with a heap of new smilies in as yet uncharted territory for me. Out and about on the big day trying to collect the 11 available icons. And happy to say we were successful. After a bit of a walk up and back Kyzabra snaffled this one the way back to the car.smersh I found your cache at 1:35pm, this was the 74th of 108 finds for me today and brings my total find count to 8569. The cache was in good order and I replaced it as found.SLTFTC
I had never geocached in South Australia before, and with a Mega event on offer, I thought I would pop in to my neighbours for the day. Took the first flight in from Melbourne and the last flight out. Got back to Melbourne just before midnight of this leap day 2024.My plan was to walk Adelaide collection as many types of possible, oldies, Virtuals, Earthcaches, and most importantly, my first Webcam. From the airport to the event, collecting caches on the way. Then, he chatted with friends at the Mega before walking to the heart of Adelaide. The city was busy, and I bumped into a number of geocachers, my locals, interstate cachers, and at the webcam, a Polish group of geocachers. Cheated on the way back to the event and took public transport, but did walk the 5 kilometres back to the airport for my return flight home.I was pleased that I got at least 1 of every type, most of the oldies I wanted, and walked over 20 kilometres. Maybe I should have had a sports watch on recording the steps. Thanks to everyone for a great adventure. Thanks for the cache, smersh.Hunter
I managed to time a work trip in SA with the leap day mega. Winner winner. A few convos later and AlliedOz, Granett, TheFitzys and Rodkaz were also up for the trip. What was going to be two days of caching turned into a single day (thanks qantas for the flight cancelling). So we put a plan together to grab as many variations of caches we could being a leap day. Quick find on the way back to the car Many thanks to smersh for placing and maintaining 10 years on X.X.MMX. I was here at 1:35pm on Thursday and this is my find 11220.
We have arrived in Adelaide for the MEGA Leapyear 2024.We were last time in Adelaide in 2004 so it was about time to refresh our memories and get couple of more caches. This was one of them whilst we were doing the nearby ALs.Tftc smersh

Completing an Adventure Lab and given one of the locations is right near this cache, I thought I may aswell have another look. No luck.
CO encouraged to go do a maintenance check on the cache. If it's not there, it would be great if they could replace it
Same as others, there are a couple of logical spots for a cache but looks like it’s been muggled. Hopefully the owner can check.
Unless the coordinates are more than 10m off and outside the guidelines, I think this has potentially been muggled I even went down the steps to check.

I was doing some of the local Adventure Labs this evening and, as I happened to make my way past this GZ, I stopped for a look. It did not take long to find the cache here. TFTC smersh
A quick find here, but left the pen in the car to do the Lab……so here’s a pic as proof of find

DNF. Evidence suggests it might have been raided. Some loot and a small pencil on the ground nearby.
No luck with this one and we searched everywhere for half hour. Was only found a week ago so good luck finding it
Thanks smersh for this cache. All good. A peaceful spot just metres from the cars driving constantly past.
