I rocked up at GZ only to discover that the tree where the cache used to be has sadly been removed, along with the geocache. CO might want to move cache nearby to the other remaining trees.
I found this one quickly but take ages to get it out of its hide hole with my fat fingers!
We have been here before but did not find the elusive container. This time round I walked to GZ and spotted it immediately. Last time we must have been here at least 20 minutes - but having said that most of our time was spent concentrating several metres away from GZ at another tree.
Out on the sunny/not sunny/sunny coast today with 1minniemoo nyssaflutterby mrsslowpuncture and teamnanabombana.
A nice quick find, took longer to cross the road amongst the traffic then it did to find the cache!

5/9/18 1:21 pm Find #2055
Wacky Wednesday with an awesome posse of gals - NyssaFlutterby, Wombles&Co and Team nanabombana (with Mrs Slow Puncture having had to depart the group a little earlier on in the day), and we just wanted that typical "couple more caches" before we called it a day and charged back for school pickups.
Parking the car near the very cool stone bridge creation at the nursery, we then dodged traffic to get to GZ and make a quick find.
Thanks for the cache MtnLioness.

A day of caching with stortigirls. Last cache of the day. We parked the geomobile and wandered to GZ by the light of the streetlamps and our torches. At GZ, the cache was quickly located, but removing it from its hiding spot took a bit of effort. Finally, we were able to add our names to the log. TFTC
The last find of the day for Selva Girls and I. We parked nearby and walked to the cache making use of streetlights and our torches. The cache was located quickly using the hint, but extracting it took a bit longer as the tree has really embraced it; perhaps this is fitting given the description as the people it is dedicated to sound as though they were always ready to embrace those who needed it. A lovely tribut and a quick find. Tftc MtnLioness
While camping in Landsborough for a few days with my geodog Scruffy, we just had to get out and try finding a few caches ...
Suppose this is the country in me, but I found parking and navigating the traffic a lot harder than finding the cache .. lol..
All Good .. TFTC ..

Logged a DNF on this nearly 12 months ago so today was the time to return and try again. This time found the cache successfully and then took quite some time to retrieve it. TFTC MtnLioness
4th cache for the day. Been here before. I am looking in one tree while hubby and electroman are in another. Guess who had the right tree? But guess whose hand they needed?
The tree has already choked the sprinkler system and just a matter of time before cache is also choked.
Tear jerker cache for me as the Taylors were our neighbours. Tftc. Thanks cache owner for keeping their memory alive.

Out for my daily cache and up in the sunny coast and this one had been on my list for quite a while and Im pretty sure I met Mr Taylor many years ago. This cache was a little tricky so the coords are really good but his one wants to hide from everyone. After searching for a while and then using a paf I eventually found it. I signed and replaced and was out of there TFTC
Up and around Maroochydore for some geocaching today with DiamonJS. Having completed what we could in our time frame it is now time to head home. Just a few ore caches to get our tally for the day to twenty finds.
We wanted to find Bruce nearby, and this was more or less on our way there. While DiamonJS waited in her Geomobile, Mrs RoddyC and I did the honours. Thanks Mr Taylor (and MtnLioness).
Log signed & replaced again. Found at am on 27th January 2017. TFTC

No luck with this one today. I see it has not been logged since October so will wait until somebody smarter than me logs a find and then have another look.
Second time lucky. Found just before almost calling the hunt off. Just have to return now to complete log signing as pen died.
Enjoyed reading about the Taylor's, so we just had to find this one. Took a little longer than it should have.... Having a blind moment. Tftc
Twelfth find in my unsuccessful attempt at the unique D/T challenge today. I had already looked there before, I just didn't dig deep enough. TFTC
Out for a quick cache run with GeographyMan. This one was up first quick find.

im glad this couple were able to touch your life and that you've been able to remember them through this cache.
Such a busy place that I don't think anyone would even have looked at me and geokid amongst the trees!!
Found on our roadtrip to stanthorpe for the mega event. Well needed break to stretch legs. Tftc sl tnln .

A nice quick find here despite the roundabout being very busy.
Signed the log & replaced as found in between the constant flow of muggle traffic.

#465 - Play day again with IolantheK. Always a day to look forward to, not in the least because of the number of smileys we collect.
Taylors Rest was the first one of the day after I'd dropped off a few TBs at the TB hotel on the way up. An easy find (as I walked up to the right tree straightaway!) and TFTC

I was tired, but still needed a cache for the day. I figured this should be an easy find before driving home. I pulled into the carpark only to realise the police had setup a brethalyser testing on the road I needed to walk along in order to get the cache. Ok, time to practice those stealth skills. I walk up past all of the police officers, exchange some pleasentaries and they pack up and leave! Now I can search properly.
I am a little embarrassed to say it took me quite some time to find this one. I finally did though and managed to wiggle it out of its spot. I wandered away to sign the log and felt a few ants. After turning th torch on, I realised my hand was covered and the container was completely converted into an ants nest. I cleaned it as best I could, but may be something to be aware of. Log was signed and replaced. Thanks.

Quick and easy find good to see some swap ables in cache a little wet inside cache
Well I certainly make things harder than they need to be! After searching two wrong trees after the GPS couldnt make us mind up, I finally found the right one. Quick find if a, well placed container and all is well here. While searching the wrong Tree, I found a resident nicely tucked away. Took a photo and left him alone, all snuggly in his nook. TFTC
Found at 1557.
I've driven past this cache a million times and always get caught up in the traffic, unable to park close by.
Today, I made a point of parking in a nearby street and walking over to GZ.
A few pokes here and there, soon I had the cache in hand.

I spent the morning caching my way from Brisbane up the highway, and have made it here pretty much right on lunch time. Well before going in to buy some lunch it was time to grab a quick cache.
Anyway I parked as close as possible and a quick dash up through the bushes when no one was looking, and then onto a little wander along the path. I headed in to look in one spot but looks like I got the position wrong. Soon enough at the right spot had the cache in hand, and the log soon signed.

Out and about, picking up a few caches in the area.
Parked close by, for a quick find.
Many thanks for placing this cache, MtnLioness, for us and others to find.

TFTC!!! Muggle central!!! Geo kid climbing soon had it in hand! Signed logged! Log bit wet from a slightly cracked container....
3:50pm ~ Today is the day to do some RAIN caching and score some smilies.... in the rain. TFTC
I found this one whilst on a quick break from work.
Just as I was getting close to GZ there was a mass off cars driving around on the road... They must have all known I was just about to go in for the steal and thought "let's go out and make it harder!".
Once there was a quick break in the traffic, I went in for the grab and was rewarded with a cache.
Thanks for the cache 'MtnLioness'. The cache was a little damp but nothing to be concerned about.

This was the first of ten on a busy morning in the area! Thank you for highlighting these special and inspirational people and it is a sobering reminder to be so careful on our roads.
#383~ ANZAC Day, a lovely day to attend the dawn service, climb a mountain and get stuck into some caching. Have been checking this one out from afar for a LONG time but never found the time to park and wander up here. Thought today would be the perfect day, given the near empty carpark at Woolworths. The cache is quite damp, inside and out and could probably do with a little TLC. TFTC MtnLioness
Found by geo daughter on way to school. Had to work to prise it from its hide. Cache has suffered in recent rain, log still dry, rest of cache damp & musty smelling. TFTC
Well i parked in the shopping centre and had a hell of a job working out where to go from there, but eventually I found my way to GZ and then a quick find followed.
Just had to be at the right angle to locate the cache. Mrs GT54 was one side and didn't see the cache, then Mr GT54 was on the other side, and bingo, there it was. TFTC.
Knowing this area a little bit helped when it came to finding a parking spot which made finding the cache that much easier to find.
Although I have to admit that the GPS signal was jumping about quite a bit in this area... probably due to the thickness of the trees overhead. After a bit of a search I found this cache in good condition @14:23.
I love the reasons behind the placement of this cache and I hope it stays in this good condition for a long time to come.
