Couldn’t find it. Real bummer too, I used to love the potato place when I was a kid. Ah well.
I think I found it??? Was something hidden almost exactly where it says it was but not too sure
Really annoyed I didn’t get this 1! Spent about 10 minutes poking every hole in the brick work and not 1 bit of plastic and some very scratched fingers lol! Never mind!
Quick find as walking by this morning. Took a bit but found in only logical spot. TFTC
A huge amount of nothing found here. A couple of rocks maybe.
Perhaps it was balanced and fell in... oh well, it's late.
Thanks for the challenge wheres wolly
will place on the watch list and return asap when back!

Find #8227**
This was part of a road trip with a difference with my muggle dad, we hit the high (Not really) seas on the P&O Pacific Jewel which started in Melbourne and headed for Port Lincoln Via Kangaroo Island. It was a pleasant five days where relaxing was the theme.
Today we woke to a particularly bad day weather wise with an overcast sky and rain falling. I was determined to at least head onto land and find a few caches. Even tho I was here last year, There were still a lot of caches to find here. After walking for about 30 minutes, the rain stopped and the weather turned into a nice day. Last cache for the morning, after 2 DNF's, I was hopeful of finding this one. I found this one out in the open, not sure if that was the intended location, but I returned it to where I found it.
**Thanks to wheres wolly for the cache. TNLN. **

#1121 Fourteenth of fifteen finds on Day 8 of my South Australian geocaching road trip. Nice easy find after a short search. TFTC
CPwanderer, GoodLook and I headed off for a weekend in Port Lincoln via an overnight stop in Whyalla
Our weekend was unexpectedly extended by a day due to illness and so my tally at the end of the 'weekend' was 168 cache finds
Sadly this was marred by a massive 28 DNFs
Port Lincoln, despite being virgin caching territory for all 3 of us, did not provide us with the pleasure that we had anticipated
So many of the caches were bison tubes and those that we did find, quite often were in places where a larger cache could have been hidden The other issue was the lack of maintenance on many caches
There are people trying their best to maintain the 'wheres wolly' cache hides however their resources are stretched thinly..... so if you are heading over, please pack heaps of cache maintenance containers, bags and log books and help out where you can. [^]
That being said, the trip was still a blast and some great caches were found and great views were seen!
Roaming Wendy very kindly came out with us for the rest of today and as a result, our find count increased as did the laughter in the car
Thank you for your company [^]
Having looked here previously on our own, we returned with Roaming Wendy and with maintainer's permission, this cache was replaced

We had searched for this yesterday without luck. Returned today with Roming Wendy who confirmed it was gone. As she is looking after the maintenance we replaced this!!
This was one of the caches found on a three day odyssey on the Eyre Peninsula! Myself, GoodLook and locuscache had never cached south of the Cowell/Cleve area so we had high hopes of some great caching. We worked our way down through Port Neil and Tumby Bay and grabbed those along the highway plus a few a little further afield.
Our time in and around Port Lincoln was frustrating. Lots very small micros, lots of very rusty tins and more dnfs than ive ever had in a day before this. We were very fortunate that local cacher , Roming Wendy joined as. Her expert knowledge of the town certainly helped. A medical issue had us stay a third day. This worked out very well as we could do some relaxed caching on our way home.
A special thanks to Roming wendy for her help and to those who hid caches in the area … particularly the Geo-Ambos, Wheres Wolly and Viper231. Special thanks also to my “mildly obsessive” caching buddies on this trip …………………………… amazing fun!!

Woo hoo, we found it! Roaming Wendy confirmed it was missing and as she is doing the maintenance on this cache we replaced it.
After messaging Roaming Wendy, she graciously joined us and jumped in our car in order to cache around Lincoln with us (as we'd not been having much fun with all of the DNFs).
Found whilst on a road trip with CPwanderer and Locus Cache, with the aim of the weekend to cache in and around Port Lincoln - fresh territory for us all. We certainly had a great time, however with a DNF rate of about 40% [:(!], it was tough going! We did however thoroughly enjoy the beautiful locations and scenery.
After joking all day on the Sunday we should spend another night in Pt Lincoln, circumstances presented that meant we needed to extend our time away! We took it slowly on the way home which enabled us to once again visit some terrific places
Thanks for the cache

This is the 2nd of 3 caches we didn't find today. [:(!]
We spent quite some time here at around 10:55:00 AM, but we just couldn't locate your cache, so a DNF from us - - - not stating it's not there... just that we couldn't spot it.

Staying in Tumby Bay for a few days we set off finding the caches around here cleaning up a lot of unfounds from previous trips, amazing, you put it in the open and it doesn't get muggled, a quick find for us tonight. TFTC
Found by Mary & David, in company with pprass (signed as m & p), at 1025. Our third day in Port Lincoln. Today, we cached our way around the local area again. Weather further improved, with only a couple of light showers today. Spotted this one after a short search and looking in a few wrong places. Had to be careful in retrieval and replacement. Our thanks to wheres wolly.
Found at 10:25 AM GAFF5 in the company of maccamob. We signed the log book as "M&P".
We were looking for a micro, but that's a small It is also in a very precarious spot and strange that it has survived for so long.
Thanks wheres wolly.

Got it 2nd visit and a tip from RAV81. gorgeous weather to be out walking and took the dog this time.
Workmen right on the target location. will have to go back again. I'm getting in lots of walking while holidaying here but getting tricky to explain my sudden desire to get up early and go for a walk especially when I have a brand new grandson to get to know.
Tried to locate this cache last time we visited Lincoln
Today we spotted it almost straight away
Geo hubby just had to look the right way and with some instructions I was able to retrieve the cache
Took our tbs along for the find

Thanks to Team Astro for the WARNING about the "ASBESTOS". But a big fat DNF for me today.
In Pt Lincoln for work and went for a stroll and grabbed a couple of caches before dinner.
I remember looking for this one with no luck last time I was in town and thinking it was a great local cache as you might need to come back several times to find it.
It looks like this one might not last to much longer as they are starting to fence off the area, There were fencing panels leaning against the wall that required searching.
My the difference searching at night with a torch as opposed to during the day. I could see it but wasn't sure I would be able to get past the fencing to retrieve it.
A very tight squeeze but I came up a winner.

Our first cache in Port Lincoln! We found the cache but weren't sure if that's where it was meant to be based on some previous logs. Good hunt, thanks.
I found this during a night stroll around, there's quite a few options there. Cheers.
When about halfway working through the many options we found it!
Thanks wolly for the cache and hunt.

Lots of hidey holes, but unlike many other caches this evening - we managed to find this one Cheers Gav [11702]
Last cache before heading back to the hotel.
I didnt have my caching bag and I would have liked some gloves before searching for this one.
Looks like a fun challenge for the locals and also dinner was calling.
