Logs
Found whilst out and about, what a place! Watch out for the ants, container has seen better days, did a bit of a patch job with some duct tape to keep it going (Back logging from a few days ago)
Found this cache on Tuesday 25th June but forgot to log until now. I did sign the log. TFTC
This would of been a bustling town once now just a grand hotel and a few buildings. It's amazing what happens when the gold dries up. Quick find. Tftc
A quick easy find in an interesting spot.SL TFTC Awarding a favourite point for the location
We left the caravan in Cue and headed out to check out Walga rock. We had the place to ourselves except for the hundreds of flys, a monitor lizard and some wallabies. It's pretty awesome here with some amazing patterning on the rock in places. That hotel was pretty big. We walked over here and made a nice quick find.TFTC
Good find visiting this deserted place. I hoped still more could be seen here.

Found by accident while walking around big bell with dejjroberts. Easypesy. Thanks for a great find
So glad there was a Geo here. This is such a cool interesting place to visit. Thank you for bringing us here.
A visit in the old town Big Bell and no beer in the hotel... Thanks for the Cache
This one was high on the list for B12, made a quick find and spent more time exploring the Como hotel
Tanks for bringing me to this location
I came, I saw, I signed the log. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.

Stopped in here for an overnight rest. What a great place to explore. Hard to imagine this was once a thriving town. Cache was found on a walk around the streets this morning. Thanks for placing this cache for our enjoyment.
Found on a trip to the west from South Australia.
Last night I camped by the Murchison River near Ballinyoo Bridge before making my way to Meekatharra, visiting places and caches of interest along the way.
Thanks Zodiakhorizon for the cache.

Called in here on our way back from Walga Rock. Interesting ghost town. I would call this cache bigger than micro.
On our way to the Kennedy Range and Mount Augustus.
Meanwhile collecting some smiley faces on the map up north.
Interesting place and great to wander around the empty streets.
The hotel must have been awesome.
Easy find, thanks for the cache.

Found with Deefa71 on a visit to the old Big Bell townsite. The hotel is remarkable: I'd love to see someone (maybe the Dome group?) buy and restore the place. Fave point here of course, so much history!
Wow this was a really cool place to visit. Caching our way up to Marble Bar, we took a detour to go and explore this one. We arrived at gz with another car not far away but quickly went into pretend tourist mode and soon spotted the cache. We made the grab signed your log and returned your cache back to its place of hiding. Now it was time to explore more. TFTC Zodiakhorizon and K-Maximus.
Driving from Baldivis to Marble Bar with axell33 we headed out from town to get at least one more smilie on our Mt Magnet map! What a great place to explore! And what a grand hotel this must have been here! There were a few muggle caravaners about so we looked touristy while we found the cache and signed the log. Thanks for the hide and showing us this place.
Heading from Yalgoo to Mt Magnet we decided to take the roads less travelled and discover some places we wouldn't have visited without Geocaching being our guide.
TFTC Zodiakhorizon & K-Maximus this is find #12575 for us.

Can tick this long awaited golden oldie off my bucket list ...TFTC. Great Spot To Camp
Just over 7 months since we left home and stated our lap, just over half way in our original time allocation and not even close to half way around the country… 25,000 ish km done, gosh we have seen a lot, but there is so much more to see.
Perhaps if/we I stopped looking at so many rocks, trees and beaches we wouldn’t be taking so long…then there are the flowers, old things and street art that keeps catching our attention.. maybe it’s the Geocaches… or the time we have spent prospecting, enriching our lives but not finding anything of material value, it’s all about the journey not the possessions. What ever it is, we are having a bloody brilliant time and I wouldn’t change a thing!
The last few weeks have been a bit blah with some bad news from the east, apologies for the late and generic log, catch up time a lot harder than I thought, I really need to make a concerted effort (even in difficult times) to stay on top of logs answers and photos.
Thanks for being one of the caches we found in the past few weeks.

If the walls of old hotel could tell their stories then I’d pull up a chair. These old gold mining towns are brilliant.

First trip to Cue and our first successful find for the day! TFTC, found with Minergal
Wow what a great spot. Stayed up at cue overnight and became aware of this town through a travel bloggers video. So glad we came and saw the town. Weather was perfect and the cache in great shape.
It has been a few years since we last visited here, the mine was no where near as big and active back then. Sad to see the old hotel deteriorating further, I had thought that a few years back there was talk of restoring it. A lot of history in this area which is gradually returning to nature. It was great to find a couple of “family” information boards which tell the story of two of the families that made this place there home.
Thanks
Thanks
My phone was going all over the place, as it does when there is no reception. So Kevin took the coordinates off me and we had it within a few seconds. TFTC
Was in Geraldton for a few days then got asked to visit Cue so off we went. With a day free we checked that the road was open with shire then headed out here. Never been here before as each other time there has been too much rain and roads were closed.
Grabbed the cache first then spent three hours looking around at everything. The pub is still such a grand place, tho minus a few bits and pieces.
We had so much fun here. What a townsite it would have been and the school looks like it was quite large.
TFTC an added bonus at this remarkable former town

Wow - this place is amazing!
So much history, just putting our feet in the shoes of a local worker or family member back in the day, and going back in time
The buildings, the Grand Big Bell Hotel is still a Grand old building as it stands today.
A bit sad in the state of the building in the condition it is now
It would have been awesome to see it in the working day
The drive out was on a good gravel road, with plenty of streets to meander about and reflect on a time gone by.
We eventually managed to meander towards the cache and found it tucked away neatly. With signing duties done and dusted we replaced the cache as found
Thanks for sharing this interesting historical location

A very interesting place to spend an hour or so wandering around. The hotel must have been a very grand place in its tme. Thanks for bringing us out here
This was a place themongrel wanted to visit, so we had a beer in the old pub tftc
A quorum of the Fott was here so we are retrospectively claiming the find. If that's an issue let us know.
A long-overdue road trip for the FOTT saw Granett, Kyzabra, SVKR_WA and myself head out to collect some LGAs.
A massive road trip with over 2,000Ks covered, there was a carefully thought out plan by a monkey at a typewriter and this was one of the caches selected for this amazing trip, as we could not make them all in the time we had and the distance we needed to cover.
TFTC called Big Bell, what a cool location, dropping a Fav as I loved the area so much, camping was rather Hot tho.

On a long awaited road trip with the FoTT up through the Goldfields area of our state. We had some targets that crossed off a few LGA's and others that helped me qualify for a challenge (GC3TR3M). Headed off early Friday and after much frivolity and silliness over 2000 odd k's we made it back home late Sunday arvo.
We camped here for the night along with about a trillion flies, luckily they went elsewhere after the sun went down and we were able to enjoy some bevies in peace. A very interesting spot, thanks for bringing me here. Awarding a favourite.
Zodiakhorizon I found your cache at 4:25pm, this was the 14th of 14 finds for me today and brings my total find count to 5787. The cache was in good order and I replaced it as found.

A long overdue road trip for the FOTT saw Granett, Allied_Oz, SVKR_WA and myself head out to collect some LGAs.
Day one was home to Cue. Picking up key caches along the way. Our goal being Cue ️and approx 850km didn’t leave much time for sightseeing or extra random caches. A plan has been made and we were sticking to it
This was one of our targets and happy to say the find was made.
Camp spot for the night. Quick find here.
Many thanks to Zodiakhorizon & K-Maximus for placing and maintaining North West Wander No.6 - Big Bell. We found it, signed it, and put it back as found. We were here at 4:26 pm on Friday

Last cache for the day. Having a bit of an explore before making camp. A fave from me.
A camping trip has been way, way overdue. AlliedOz, Granett, Kyzabra and I have spent quite a few weeks planning, plotting and scheming a trip to get some of the lads a few more LGAs and a few caches for some challenges, and just to have a good pile of old fashioned fun.
We left at sparrows today, heading to just north of Cue to camp the night. AlliedOz and I were in one car, and Kyzabra and Granett in the other.
Our convoy headed north, stopping here and there to grab a cache or two.
Zodiakhorizon SVKR_WA is happy to have found your cache North West Wander No.6 - Big Bell today at 16:26:30 8 Nov 2019. This brings my find count to 3843
Zodiakhorizon - Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment. We love travelling the state and visiting some places that we would only visit due to this game.

Big bell has always fascinated me from when I first read about it on the internet. We finally made the decision to get it done this trip and clear it off the map once and for all. An amazing building the hotel was, amazing that I grew up not far from its sister hotel “the Como” on Canning Highway. Comparing the photos side by side the similarities are amazing.
We had a short drive around some of the buildings before getting the cache and heading back to Cue.
Thanks ZH for the cache. Hopefully one day you’ll be back in the game for good. Until then please keep your caches active. Fav Point.
Had three weeks holiday so decided on a massive road trip to the most northern part of the state - the Kimberley. An area we have never explored, but had always been on the to do list. We travelled through the towns of Mount Magnet, Newman, Port Hedland, Broome, Halls Creek, Kununurra, back to Broome, Karratha, Exmouth, Denham, Geraldton and back home to Perth. It certainly was a very quick trip for the distance covered, over 8,000 kilometres in total, we saw a lot in such a short space of time, but barely scratched the surface of what’s out in these parts.
We would like to thank the individual COs for hiding the caches throughout these parts, from the towns to the highways and byways. Thank you for choosing to share these locations with us and we appreciate the effort you have gone to. Thanks for the fun.

What an amazing place. Such a shame to see the waste here. Thanks for bringing us here.
TFTC very cool site. Camped overnight a bit of mine traffic but with wind not too bad
Great cache - definitely worth the drive on a well maintained mine road to find - the historic location is awesome
I wouldn't call this size micro more like small.... trust your GPS. A fascinating old ghost town.
On our way northish staying in Cue for a couple of nights and out for a few caches.
This was an easy find and log signed and we’re off again.

TFTC no trackable found. made for a interesting nighttime hunt after a few wines around the campfire great spot. Geo hubby worked at Big Bell mine from 88 - 92 so brought back great memories. Left a little space man happy geo caching
Apologies for the late log. I've been on a road trip (from Melbourne) through WA with some caching along the way and only now am I catching up on logs. This was a day of driving south along the Great Northern Highway on our way to Mt Magnet. At Cue we diverted off to visit Big Bell and a few other tourist sights along the way. This was an amazing sight to see the abandoned town and particularly the ruins still standing of the hotel. The cache was a quick find once we got close to GZ. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache Zodiakhorizon & K-Maximus.
Love these ruins cos they are not too old. The hotel is fabulous. Wish I could get a glass of wine here. Found while staying in Cue
