Beautiful spot. Couldn't for the life of me convince the dog to walk down the goat track....fair enough too, as we'd only just had a tiger snake encounter at a nearby site. Another time!

I was on an adventure cycling the Munda Biddi trail from Albany to Perth and had highlighted some caches to grab along the way to make sure I had some rest breaks. This cache was one I had targeted for my trip. Cheers and TFTC.

Teamed up with Photo-Play and ullyssia for caching today on a coolish day. We signed all the logs as P.U.P-P. unless one of us had found the cache previously. We were targeting our 11 or 12 caches types in a day, starting in Albany then moving on to Denmark. Beautiful location, thank you for the cache Albany getaway.

06-Jun-21
Thank you! Found with papillon367 and Photo-Play while out and about in Albany and Denmark for WAGB 2021. Log signed as PUPP or ullyssia.

06-Jun-21
Find 45 of 65 with 0 DNFs during a big WAGB day by bike and by car, working our way across to Denmark via the IAM series then Richlink's event and Crabzy's CITO event, then back to Albany to roam around Mount Clarence in the increasingly wet and cold afternoon. Thanks to all the organisers and COs for a great day.

Heading for the last leg of the IAM series we called in for Hay and Dinky - a quick find here, all good.

TFTC Albany getaway!

Night caching tonight and found this one after a few stumbles. Too cold for bream fishing tonight but a perfect spot for it in the future. The log was sodden and I was unable to log my visit due to how wet it was. I will return with a new log in the daylight as I was travelling light. I do have a pic of the cache to prove I visited.

Our journey continues as we wend our way around the south west corner of WA with ilook4geo. It is such a beautiful part of the country and we are enjoying the places and scenery. This was a find that was quick and easy in the appropriate place. Duties were soon completed and the container was put back where it had been found. Thank you to Albany getaway for this cache placement.

This part of WA is really pretty and we are enjoying caching along with goingplaces2. This was as easy find and log was signed. TFTC.

23-Sep-18
Travelling since January from Geelong we went up the middle to Darwin and crossed the border to WA start of may
We have done gibb river rd and been up to cape leveque.
As we travel south we have zig zagged from coast to inland and seen so many amazing things and done some truely adventurous activities
We have set up camp and will now cache the area as we discover new things, places to visit and sights to see
Thanks to caching we see more than you muggle does

16-Aug-18
Had the biggest mix up here. Started heading along the river track to GZ and then something went wrong and I returned to the beginning and tried to find a track heading south.
Then realised that I had switched from the cache coordinates to the parking ones!!!!
After realising my mistake headed back from whence I had come and was soon back where I turned around and only metres from GZ.
Took a while to find this one and the hide is quite sneaky.
The log book was damp but still signable.
Thanks, if it wasn't so wet here it would have made a great camp spot to return to tonight.

06-Jul-18
After following the track along the riverbank and encountering a cold tiger snake we discovered the road was only metres away and went back that way instead

Last cache for the day - a new record of finds for a day for me, but the hard work doesn't end here - all of the finds have to be logged. I walked the main track for this one then bush-bashed the last 20 or so meters. SL. Thanks to Albany getaway for the cache.

13-Jan-15
Another beautiful day down here in the Great Southern. Our plans were to go exploring up the Frankland, in the kayaks. But we thought we should explore by vehicle first, then come back another time with the kayaks, once we had a better idea of what the river was like. Am looking forward to that big adventure, but it will have to wait until a future visit as I just ran out of time.

Stopped here at the Hay River on the way west to grab this cache. Lovely spot, and another river that would be great to paddle up. Another time though.

Thanks for the smiley Albany getaway

14-Dec-14
Lovely spot for fishing. Will be back with our rods! TFTH!

02-Dec-14
Cache contents all wet, though the log was still dry enough to write into. Drained the water out, spread everything in the sun for a few minutes and dried things off with a hanky as best as I could. All back together and should be good for a little while, though things have started to rust, so a little tlc at some point wouldn't hurt Smile
Left two tbs to continue their travels. TFTC ALbany getaway Smile

19-Nov-14
Originally logged under family caching name, clan-wallace, now relogging under my own name.

19-Nov-14
The cache appeared to be on the wrong side of the river on our map, so like Pratts, we took the wrong road. TFTC.

14-Nov-14
An easy find in a beautiful spot. Contents were a little damp but it wasn't the day to dry it out. Word of caution for those driving in......the gap between the two trees either side of the track is just wide enough for an older BT50 WITH the mirrors folded in!!! TFTC TN Left a Thai keyring.

14-Nov-14
Very Happy

26-Oct-14
Out with m4yb, Rach2 and Dimor after the most amazing 2 nights just a stones throw on the other side of the river and 2 great days caching a lot of the roymerc wonders, we decided to try for this before we headed home. Well worth it as it was beautiful by the river in the morning.

Thanks for this one Albany getaway.
