As there's been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, or it's been a number of months since the last owner note. I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
AS with 6 Foot under, I have unfortunately disabled this cache as probably the same person has muggled this one as well!
Started to look for this one, but as with the last one, the same muggles turned up on their pushbikes...........the only thing I found was a cousin of Dora's ............no cache to be had. Maybe gone as there have been no finds since December.
Visiting from the UK with my brother, this would have been a new cache type, but we couldn't sock it.
On holidays for the week, we were planning on slowly driving back to Busselton, but have ended up staying :just 1 more day in Albany, it has changed alot since i lived here 12 years ago. There are some awesome views I had never seen before. TFTC
Great hide. Found as part of Geo-Joeys 10th birthday party with 4 of his friends.
They all had a ball. TFTC

Definitely a new hide type for us. The chances for repeating it are pretty slim though I guess.
Thanks mijif74

Quick and easy. Also a bit of a fun cache. Signed the log. TFTH

With 7 kids on hand, including a dose of Triple Dekker, we felt fairly confident of making this find, even if the number of socks was stacked against us. We were disappointed not to have found Dora prior to her disappearance from her previous hide near the old Esplanade, so we were pleased to see her make another appearance for us to enjoy, and glad we could check out this cache before she again disappears. Do they have any plans for this piece of property? It's a prime location! While in the area we also made a return visit to Thar she blows and A Goode Lookout, to share the joys of geocaching with some of our company who were new to the game. TFTC.
Found on second attempt while out that way for work - always a welcome break between jobs
Was SURE I had checked ALL possibilities last time - how did I miss it? Well, TFT funny C

This cache was a reminder of what was once a nice spot to stop for an icecream or cuppa over looking the bay at the cafe. Its annoying it all got pulled down and then nothing has been done with the land since. I do not think this land should be used as a place for tourist holiday accomodation. It should be turned into a nice park area with cafe for the locals to use, after all we are the ones that live here and would use and visit this spot regularly. The tourists would benefit too.TFTF
It’s a pity we couldn't have a nice lunch and a coffee as we used to at the shop that was here for many years. Can't say I agree with the sock attacks though.

NO7 and the last fot the day, it was a nice way and place to finish off 3 hours of caching, good hide. TFTC
A quick, easy find between showers. At least the rain keeps many caches muggle free. We always enjoy finding caches but finding one that makes us giggle is even more fun. We left a baby (and very discreet) dinosaur so Dora will know she has friends nearby TFTC [^]
Found at 1.00pm GAFF2. Our GPSr was not pointing to the area that we were expecting to search in - so we searched there in any case for naught. We then relented and went with the GPS and to our surprise we found the cache in the very first spot we looked!
Not sure why this expression of someone's amusement is here and not sure it will last either!
Well done mijif74 - we were amused!

After missing out on finding this cache at it's original location, I thought I had better get out and find it in case the council moves it on again. A prime piece of Real estate, Hopefully it will be put to good use and not left as a waste land.
We have seen a few oddities whilst traveling around and this one has now been added to the list. Diane cottoned on straight away to what was required and had the cache in hand in a very short time. This is the first time that we have seen one of these items used as a cache container.

May need to check on the existence of this one. Saw a headline in the local rag "Socks Down", which is a pity, I had planned to do this cache this week.
The Nomads found it on an evening after the mugglers had cleared away.. we also left an addition to the decorations..

tftc... luckily found it on our first attempt at possible location. this cache could have easily caused us lots of grief otherwise great idea.
What other novel ways can this eye sore be used for? A great idea. Had a smile on my face whilst looking for the cache. Had to come back as muggles are common in daylight. Certainly needed time to read all the attached comments. Even one from South Africa. TFTC
Didn't take too long to work out where this was going to be but retrieving it was not quite so easy. We were close when a vehicle pulled up and it looked like we'd been muggled. However out stepped fellow geocachers the Rainbow Coasters who had already found this one and kindly gave us a hint which made the find easier - thanks RC. A clever idea for a first cache.
The Coasters were having a barby at Eyre Park after a social caching day for St Johns with the owner of the cache. Along with us were three other teams and virgin cachers who came up with half of the caches set for the afternoon. We all knew that “Dora the Explorer” was close to publication, but no clues to as where. So we were heading home expectantly that afternoon to check the web site. As the afternoon drew to a close, the male Coaster bought out the HTC smart phone to show the non-caching team. The excitement was palpable as suddenly this new cache was up less that 350m from the bbq area. Ah ha, thought the male Coaster, everyone else has to go, but not me, so lets get that FTF.
Alas STF was the best the Coasters could do as TWC and RTIHH had been before us and snaffled the honours. A clever and imaginative idea that is one of those different caches out there for our enjoyment.

We were going to Mids with Ralph the Incredibly Handsome Hound (RTIHH) so thought we'd have a go at this one. Unfortunately there were a stack of muggles in the vicinity and RTIHH was attracting far too much attention. We didn't want to put our foot in it so we went off for our walk on the beach, An hour later the muggle population was down to three and they were pretty engrossed in some juicy gossip, leaving us free to make the search and the find.
This was definitely the first time we had made a find like this - a great idea which we wish we had conceived. Great to get an uexpected FTF too.
Thanks Mijif74 for a really unique hide - it's good to see some new blood with innovative thinking.adding to the stock of good caches here
