This hide seems to have gone missing more constantly over the last 6 to 12 months, so we have decided to archive. Thank you
Geez almost got attacked by the bull ants, time for relocation I think. Great area really enjoyed walking in here with geodog listening
to the band playing . Thanks
to the band playing . Thanks
SanguineDragonflye and I took ages at this spot, unfortunately not coming up with the goods. Though it's been found in the last week, we hypothesised that maybe it's been pinched again? None of the obvious and less-than-obvious hiding spots were left unturned...
Found easy enough peaking out from the hide. Added a bit more cover. Needs new log book for sure.
Suffering water damage. Needs new log book. Current one been wet long enough to show mold.
My thanks to vicbradybunch and middle geokid for placing this cache and for bringing me here today. Cache was soon in hand and logged.

Great cache in a great park, fought off the bullants to log this one. Well hidden and in good shape, log a bit damp. TNLN TFTC!
Find No. 477. Found at 3.00pm with FUF009
On our way home from an appointment in Melbourne, we stopped off at this great park area for a cuppa and a bite to eat. Then it was off cache hunting. Found the cache then it decided to rain so we had to hurry back to the car.
Took ram - Left spaceman.

A pleasant walk through the park to this lovely little cache. Thanks vicbradybunch
Took my Aunty and four year old cousin out "Treasure hunting" today. Of all the Cache wed been to none of them had anything in them, and we were super happy to come to this one and find some beautiful little headbands and bracelets! So thank you whoever put them in there! She was very excited! There was some firetrucks around the area, burning off or not, we werent quite sure. This one took us a little while to find, as theres lots of those things in the hint around, but got it eventually, let Shae find it herself with a bit of help and guidence from us, but she was still very exited. Probably the best of the few we found today, very kid friendly around the area, so we played on the playground for a a while after! Thank you!! Lovely little Cache!
Found with aide of Geograndkids and geodog

Second day of geocaching on a bit of a holiday between Melbourne and Adelaide.

First find for our family as we are new to GC. Made our swap. Easy find. Thanks.
I found your treasure Jack, might want to find another spot to hide it, someone's posted the coordinates to it on the Internet! It's been plundered and all that remains is some plastic trinkets of little to no value.
Found in the company of Dutch Frangipani during a blitz of the Melton region. Great park and walking track.
Thanks for the cache vicbradybunch

A good cache - a bit challenging to find in a nice park. Found after a bit of searching with SorceySal
Found during the Intervening Days event.
Had to do a bit of a bullant dance whilst looking for this one, but managed to get hold of it whilst still moving my feet!!

Found this one today after the Intervening Days Event. I thought at first that the nearby Boxing Day party was going to impede me finding this cache but it turned out that this cleverly hidden cache was completely out of sight of the playground. Signed log but didn't swap anything today. Thanks for the cache vicbradybunch.
Nice excuse to visit a park i grew up visiting
they keep adding signs with the history of the area which is nice to see.

Nice easy find, and the weather isn't too bad finally, hope it holds out for the weekend.
Park is much nicer than I remember it being, although last time I was here we were in the middle of a drought.
Cheers gordo

This was, the third cache of 24 finds for the day, in the company of Trailrunning, we had been chating and texting for some time now regarding caching but never met, so tonight we finally teamed up and went caching, we had a great night with lots of laughs along the way. I have visited this park before, I was sure it was going to be under that platform, it was not of course, Trailrunning soon had this was out of it's hiding spot. My thanks to vicbradybunch for the cache.
The usual TDC cache grab had been put on hold for a week, so I was looking at doing a solo run when I remembered I had a rain check promise with the legendary RebelActs to go on an evening caching run during the school holidays at some stage in the future. Well tonight was the night. We met at Glen Waverley and were soon moving west to Melton. It’s hard to find locations close to either of us where we haven’t already cleared out the area, so the Melton area was easily accessible and fruitful enough for us both. In all we visited about 33 locations with only two DNF’s, one DNA, and 1 very flat tyre. All in all it was a great night out. I finally got to meet RebelActs after corresponding and talking for such a long time and never actually caching together!
The forth find of the night was found after crossing the water and after a short stroll, the cache was soon discovered. It was in good condition and co-ords were spot on. Thanks.

Great hiding spot took a while to find. It's a great park. Needs some more swaps though.
Found with spookyclams. Took us a few minutes because there are a few possible spots but found this by checking them one by one. The geese by the creek were not happy with us being there but they left us alone. TFTC.
Found with nirgalagrin... now I have my own account.

A quick find before short-stuff bolted off to go nuts in the deserted nearby playground before the rain returned.

Found today on a lovely day out with Miss 5.
Mum had a go at this one, while trying to keep an eye on an excited little girl who was off exploring another playground she hadn't visited before.
Took me a little longer than it should have, as the coords were spot on and I was pretty sure I knew where it was.
Cache was in good condition as was the playground

28/07/12 10:21 AM Find #1139 Todays mission with my friend Square Pegs has us heading westbound with an itinerary of caches locked in and waiting to be found. The weather ahead is looking good, we're well prepared and the car is running really nice. We had a successful day with plenty of finds, lots of mud, a few friendly dogs, antartic temperatures and we discovered some new favourites.
It didn't take long before we found Jacks Treasure! Thanks vicbradybunch.

Found 2:44pm , find # 1353
Today we drove out into the country with Trish (Madam Dash), whose husband Ian (Dashing Dog Mac) is currently on an assignment in New Zealand. The plan was for Trish and I to score dashpoint GDBH-YLAQ in Melton, and then for the ladies to visit a Quilting/Sewing Shop there while I sought out a few caches. Then we were going to have lunch in Bacchus Marsh, do a few more caches, and perhaps a visit to a Quilting Shop in Ballan if there was time. Well things didn't quite work out that way. We got the dashpoint in Melton, had lunch in Bacchus Marsh, and then decided to just visit the shop in Melton and do some more caches, but the shop has disappeared off the face of the earth. I managed to get some caches however, so, for me, all was not lost.
Ar last a small, after a number of micros around Melton and Bacchus Marsh. I loved the location and this is an interesting and beautiful parkand has some wonderful old trees.
Thanks for the cache, and bringing us here today vicbradybunch

Thanks for the cache. No maintenance needed. That park is one of my favourite places.
Approached GZ in the dark from the wrong side of the creek, I was very thankful that we were able to cross the creek rather than walk around. Thanks
Found it fairly easy quit a few muggles

Just a note for those geocachers who go to this cache "Jacks Treasure". This cache is still registering a "Chinese Take Me Away TB" in it. We placed that TB in there on 29-11-2011 and have been back to the cache on several occassions with other geocachers and it is deffinately not in there. It has not been logged as taken and there has been no mention of it since I dropped it off in this cache. We do not know what has happened to it.
When we arrived at the park and saw just how popular it was, we were wondering if we would be able to find this one, but we went for a wander anyway and, Yay!!, not one person was even close to GZ, only some poor bunny that has had better days. Found quickly, signed and off we went. Thanks for the cache.
