Pulled over in stopping area to check something else, then looked at GPS and saw only 5m away from cache.
7133 Great views… interesting structure, not sure about the colour scheme though. TFTC.
First time on the ETA today, most impressed with the large structure. Couldn't lay my hands on the cache, in spite of a good look between traffic. Coords seemed to be pointing 6m away from the barrier, so couldn't really pin down an exact spot.
NZ11. I came from below to keep out of the traffic. I had no problems choosing the right spot. Thanks.

Don't ya just love this new ETA. Brilliant. Saves up 10-15 minutes every trip. And our first cache on this new route so well done. Easy find by daughter - TFTC.
Quick find and managed to avoid the passing trucks and so did my wingmirror - just. TFTCSL
Finally came back for this one. spotted easily from below. I'd much rather approach this way than parked on the main highway!

Pleased we were on our MTBs so we didn't need to stop in this 'pull over area'. We came alongside it and up from beneath. TFTC Took awhile to find cos GPS took us elsewhere but got there in the end.
6.45pm - Prawn farm closed so did this cache instead, approached from a different direction than listed but we we rretrieved it by walking up a small bank where no muggles could see us TFTC
#1788. Nice new road. As we were searching, another vehicle pulled up behind us. It turned out to be another caching team - nice to meet you Cache Hunters_Karen and Mark. The cache was eventually found a short distance away from where the GPS was pointing. We returned it where found. TNLNSL. TFTC.
Arrived at this one while driving around outisde Taupo & had our first cachers' meeting with huhugrub! Worked together to find this one a short distance away from its alleged location. Good to meet other cachers.

Find: #147
Interesting place for a cache. Luckily we were not on the motorway when we got this one, instead parked on a gravel road and climbed up the embankment to retrieve

Drive by yes, but were going the wrong way so had to U-EEE around. Quick find in the evening, hardly any traffic at all.

Very cool bridge and a very impressive bypass, this is one of the best things that ever happened for SH1.
A quick park'n'grab and continued northward.

Hmmm Parked the car where GPS indicated GZ, searched about 10m each side of it, but was feeling quite uncomfortable with the dozens of cars zooming by. Will come back, maybe early morning when there's less traffic around to spot my suspicious behaviour!
A quick park and grab - didn't stick around as police were trawling the area. TFTC!!!
FTF, Taupo cachers have come out of hybernation again. Found it after a short search. Hope no-one gets spoken to by the Highway patrol for stopping there. TFTC
