Unfortunately it looks like the entire area at GZ has been bulldozed for an extra lane.
Wondering if this cache needs to be archived as GZ and surrounds have been bulldozed.
tftc,
only 4 to go and I can try the final.
Time to head home after a great weekend. Enjoy picking up caches along the way.
Visited a group of trackables.

My 3rd In Extremis in 3 days, went to correct place then decided no, moved on but didn't stay long as the area had been used for a toilet, then Wazza9 said it's here. Signed log and replaced. Thanks to Hoojar.
Out for a drive from Queanbeyan to Captains Flat to Braidwood to Bungendore and then back to Queanbeyan. A quick find. Thanks Hoojar.
We were out visiting friends at Braidwood and found this cache while we were out and about - what a wonderful area [^][^] Thanks to Hoojar for placing this cache.

[red]My humble apologies for the late log...[/red]
After living away from home for 6 months, I have managed to find all my caching associated paperwork / notes & photo's so I can (finally) log all my finds...
My sincerest thanks to all the cache owners for their hides & all the effort gone into them & I'm sorry for the generic log... I have seen many beautiful area's that I would not of seen or experience if not for your hides...
Thanks for bringing me here and for the cache...

This cache was out in the open thawing out from last nights freeze in the sun. I have placed it in a more shady spot and provided a bit of local cover to protect it from the harmful rays of the sun. TFTC hoojar a long way from home! TNLN SL.
Ok. Tried the wrong tree first. Then the gps settled and we found it. TFTC
3293. My third one in this series and a quick find. Not sure if I will ever make it to the finale though, but it sounds like fun.

Off we go again on another fun filled geomission with Rapidlywild and the two ladies of the FurfacesLL This time we decided to target Batemans Bay to Tuross and surrounds as none of us had yet to make any finds at these locations. Luckily for us the rain eased mid morning so that meant the rest of the day was reasonably dry-good for caching!. An 8am start and 3am finish meant we were all geobuggered, but as always we had lots of laughs and a great day was had by all
This one was the last find of our epic geomission-so thankfully it was an easy find as we'd been caching for close to 16 hours by now!
Thanks for the hide, Hoojar

A geomission was planned with Rapidlywild and specimenX and as no one in the group had collected any smileys down the coast the location was decided. The week of wet weather threatened for the mission to be cancelled, however the rain eased and the mission was going ahead. We awoke to overcast skies and headed off down the highway ready for a big adventure and big day, some of the group with sleepy eyes. Thanks again ladies for great day and lots of laughs we are looking forward to our next one. TFTC
The weekend was here, and there was a location that had not been violated by myself, specimenX and the FurfacesLL ladies, so the location was revealed and we were off to the coast and surrounds. The sky was not in our favor all week and it was touch and go, but the final call was made Friday night and we were all go for an early morning Saturday for a wet coast expedition. There was a lot of laughter, a lot of experiences that I had never had before, a lot of blonde moments and a lot of caches found. What a wonderful day we had over a period of 18+ hours, many many km's and seen lots of the coast
Lovely views of the surrounding area. Cache in good shape amongst the critters. Thanks for placing it.
We had collected a few in this series and as we had a bit of time seeing this was not that far away and we had no ans in being in this area in the near future we detoured. It started to rain so we where glad the caches where park and grabs with easy areas to pull over. We grabbed the codes, completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC

This is the 2nd in this series I have found. Despite having to turn around and come back to this one because I am still learning how to control my navigator (Little Red Riding Hood) and hadn't informed geo hubby when we were approaching, he was kind enough to get out of the car and accompany me on the search - thanks geo hubby. LRRH was still dancing around a fair bit (think the cloud cover doesn't help) but twas soon found, signed and returned to its correct position. TFTC Hoojar TNLN
Found this cache at 12:20pm while on a caching drive from Bungendore to Braidwood. The paddocks are so very dry and brown. Rain needed desperately.
Thanks Hoojar for the hide.

So that's where that road goes. Braidwood. I'd seen this road many times driving back from the snow, near Cooma. Driving along the Kings Hwy from Canberra to Batemans Bay I took a short detour to find another in the series. Another quick find. Info noted. Thanks.
Took a few minutes but it soon showed it's lid.
Got the info required and off to the coast.

Went for a ride out there, this morning, couldn't find the cache. I hope it hasn't been muggled. I will look again in the near future. Some lovely views of the countryside.
A small detour on a drive to the south coast for a weekend away to play golf. A nice quick find. Left one of my path tags.

Found @ 3:04pm with hccatcher11415 on the first day of a four day weekend
Made a slight detour on the way to the bay to find this one. hccatcher made a quick find while I took a slightly longer route.
Dropped off an Australian Flag geocoin, thanks Hoojar

Quick find with O319 on a loop through Captains Flat, Braidwood and Bungendore. TFTC
#46 - 17:10; Another on the way home from dropping off the Geoteen. The GPS was off a little more than usual, but a re-read of the description got me back on track. Should have been a quicker find than it was really TFTC
Nice chunk of firewood here! Made a quick detour to grab this one before heading down to Bateman's Bay. Not as quick as I'd hoped - thick fog made the going very slow! TFTC.
Easy find, though, the info in the lid is questionable. Have taken a photo anyways.
Cheers

Quick find on the way down to the coast. I like doing these little detours, you see some bits of the country you wouldn't normally see. Thanks Hoojar
Mrs Blue Mars wasnt impressed with the parking arrangements - but nice hide anyhow - TFTC
Found with Mrs Gribbly and the Gribblets on our trip to Canberra in Sept 2011
We found three in the one trip but for some reason I didn't log it?
I only noticed as I am getrting together my plan as we are heading up north this weekend and I am keen to grab the one we have left up there.
Better late than never I suppose

Nuuuuuuu! Didn't have any luck.. stayed here for about 15mins looking, up, down, in and around. I put my hands and arms in places I was afraid to go, but thought the cache could be there anyway! But still turned up empty handed =(
All I found was a few bags of rubbish someone dumped about 50cm from GZ ... hope it has not been muggled??

A quick stop on the side of the road and I am sure passing traffic thought I was doing something else! T: keyring L: heart eraser Recorded the code however, being "Mexicans" it will be hard for us to get back to complete the series. Thanks Hoojar
Out on a caching run with the Jmanjezza clan.
This one took a bit longer than we were expecting, thanks to the obvious hide. (Obvious once we'd found it!)

Found this one on a variation going to Braidwood instead of the usual highway. Found with Dopplefrog. We both were making this harder for us than it was. Kicking ourselves when we made the find. Tftc.
After staying in Braidwood and heading to Captains Flat where She Who Must Be Obeyeds dad grew up we stopped here for another cache in this beautiful area.
Thanks Acko

hmm, two down in the series now!!

I was getting a bit worried here after searching all the obvious spots, and then seeing it hadn't been found for 3 months..............but then I tried one more spot, and wallah!! there it was.
Thnks Hoojar for bringing me down this fantastic road, and for the series

This was my second attempt - I was on my way to where I kew to start and stepped over the cache which was sitting out in the open. Hmmm, and a GC in there as well. Hid a bit better and took the GC, haven't seen many TBs or GC of late !
A quick dash out of town before afternoon tea... nabbed and away. Still, more to come!
This one was the hardest to find - co-ordinates were spot on, but it was tucked away very well. After all our planning for this series we just had to find it, and eventually we did. We normally come this way on the way to Bendethra and Wyambene, it's a lovely part of the country. TFTC
Found while on a break from the Mont24 with Toadmeister. Thanks Hoojar, even further along now.
Woody figtree and I were in the area for a 24 hour mountain bike race, and so had to pick up another piece of the Extremis Puzzle. Now eight pieces in hand. Thanks Hoojar, this is one mean multi cache, and I dont think I got to the hard bit yet.
Little more difficult to grab this one given the location on the crest and the fact that we were towing the trailer, but never fear, a safe location was found to pull over, and a quick grab was made!!
Another one in this series grabbed, but still more to go......

Found on my way home from a "Major" adventure... Hard to reach, but easy to find. Thanks.
Parked just below the crest to make a quick score.
Lovely area and nice drive on a Sunday afternoon. Making my way through to Captains Flat to nab a few more.
Thanks for the cache and the series.

A nice easy find, with a good view thrown in too. This was the 2nd In Extremis cache found today on the "Dad, Jeremy & Dog In Extremis collecting old fashioned road trip" that we were on. We'd come across from Batemans Bay, hoping to make Gunning and then home later today. On a different topic, the Icecream/Lolly shop on the main street served the BIGGEST scoops of Ice Cream either Jeremy or I had seen from a shop. A good reason to come back to Braidwood I think!
TNLNSL, thanks for the cache Hoojar, Chip & Ding.
best wishes,
Wal

had a quick look but got interrupted by cattle being herded on the road - will have to return another time
I walked around the hiding place and came at the wrong direction. Jusojara though came the right direction and saw it straight away TFTC
This was nice quick find today for mr_roo and I. I spotted the cache in it's hide nearly straight away, although looking from the right angle helps. TFTC
My 2nd of 3 must finds today. Thankfully the day wasnt too hot so I wasnt too worried about creepy crawlies.
Another brick to the puzzle.
Thanks Hoojar

I have taken some long detours for caches but I think the chasing of the In Extremis series this afternoon was probably the longest.
We doubled our trip time to knock off four on the way to Batemans Bay. At GZ the cache was chockablock with coins and TBs of which we grabbed a few as darkness was approaching. TFTC!

One of 43 caches found for the day, 31 December 2010, in a big run to get my 1000 GC caches for 2010. Phew, what a day, got to 1001 for 2010. Canberra, Cooma, Braidwood, Bungendore, Wamboin, Goulburn, Thanks everyone, some great spots too.
Dropped off some TB's and Geocoins too.
Dropped off some TB's and Geocoins too.
Took Captains Flat Road from Queanbeyan, the rain was ok then it was the 30k’s of wet, slippery gravel road, must admit had fun on some of those corners! I arrived at GZ with the geo-mobile dripping mud, and the geo-gods looking down giving me a brief break in the weather so I could locate the cache. I left a geo-coin that I picked up in one of the “In Extremis” cache. So this is the seventh in the series that I have found! .
If everything goes well I'll have half of the series finished today!
This made me all dirty! Try to step into some rotten wood with a already soaked foot/leg!
