We only stopped here as it was a trig and a fellow cachers son is called Tyler, short walk and then a quick find.
This trip was sort of in place of a trip to a Mega that got canceled due to accommodation problems, I was quite happy when Goose said do you fancy to caching break in the Northern Territory as this would be the last State or Territory for me in Australia.
Our plan was to fly into Darwin on the Friday night have a couple days in the area then start heading South stopping overnight whenever we needed to, our next goal was the drive to the geographic centre of Australia at Lambert Centre and then head back to Alice to fly home ten days later.
We both had a great trip finding some important old caches, large ones and the odd clever one too, we found Ammo Cans all over the place which was nice as i think we have found most of the ones at home in Tassie.
Thanks for the cache.

As we travelled from Ormiston Gorge to Kings Canyon via Mereenie Loop we found some geocaches. This was our second one today. Thanks for hiding this one and as always TFTC, MumDad2000.
Passing through, I just knew there would be a cache here somewhere even though I had no reception to look at a possibility of there being a cache here. I walked around the road looking for some obvious tracks and boom found the cache! Thanks!
Wow wow what a view.
Stopped in to have a look at the lookout and what do you know we parked not far from a cache. So nice easy find ,log signed and now time for lunch.

Family reunion after 3 long years! Ms Emu’s parents came over from Germany and the Emus took them on a couple of road trips down the Mornington peninsula, along the Great Ocean Road, to the Grampians and on an adventure around Alice Springs, Uluru and Kings Canyon.
Found on our trip from Kings Canyon to Alice Springs. Spectacular views of Tnorala bluff, thanks for bringing us here! We give a favourite point for this cache.

Quick find good views. I had to study the board quite intently to work out what "uluru looking structure" was before us. It was then that I worked out it was the giant crater. Suddenly we were fascinated and on our way to there!

Staying in Glen Helen and decided to head to Hermannsburg for the day. Was driving past and saw the sign so headed up to the area. Took some photos and checked the map and 25m away was the cache. Headed over and quickly located the hide and uncovered the cache. Signed the log and then replaced all as found.

A relatively quick find but discovered a bag of rubbish someone dumped. Logged my find and will put the bag of rubbish in the nearest bin. TFTC
This was a nice easy find before we set up for lunch at one of the picnic table and admired the view. Thanks for the excuse to stop, tftc
We were travelling from Redbank Gorge to Palm Valley and this magnificent view was on the way. The bonus was that there was a cache there, waiting for me to find.

Three weeks on the road for a family holiday to Alice Springs, Ayers Rock and Kings Canyon amongst other cool destinations had us traveling all over the place. We had a great time and the weather was extremely hot with bushfires that actually prevented us from going to some destinations.
Today we made our way from Kings Canton / Petermann to Alice Springs along Larapinta Dve and Namatjira Dve, and we stopped along the way to find the few caches that we came across. We stopped here for two reasons, to take a break from driving and take ion the amazing views and to find the cache. My oldest son is Tyler so we definitely had to stop here.
Thanks for the cache.

Replaced the plastic bag and dried out the paper log during my stop! Great location!
Found during a fun day out with JJ52 where we tackled the Larapinta loop and cached along the way. Both of us kept commenting on the variety of landscapes and vegetation seen during the drive.
Amazing views! (Two simple words say it all!)
Thanks for brining us here Liz and Bruce.

A day out with sushilord had been organised heading for Hermannsburg and doing the loop calling in to St Helens and picking up as many caches as we could along the way. We had both solved the puzzle caches along this route and they were targeted as we went past. [^]
It was a near perfect caching day, with 27 caches found, lots of amazing scenery, history and geology with numerous photos taken where we stopped. This was the highlight of my visit to Alice Springs.
One thing I will remember about caching in Alice Springs is....rocks, rocks and more rocks.
This was one stop where we were amazed at the views.

Nice, a not too hard to find traditional among all the earthcaches, thanks a lot, Liz and Bruce and redcenterdazza! Nice view from here and no, that's not Uluru you can see in the distance .
Great to have this view after visiting crater first. Little bit bigger than micro. TFTC
Jesswrigley and I travelled to the Northern Territory from Adelaide for a 2.5 weeks road trip holiday. We took my jeep through Port Augusta, Woomera, Roxby Downs, Andamooka, and then drove the Oodnadatta Track via Coward Springs, William Creek (including a Lake Eyre scenic flight), Oodnadatta, and Marla. It was then onwards to visit Uluru (Ayers Rock), Kata Tju?a (Olgas), Kings Canyon, and then drove the Red Centre Way aka. Mereenie Loop Road to see the Tjoritja (West MacDonell Ranges), calling in to see the various highlights. We then stayed a few nights in Alice Springs, and included a day trip to see the East MacDonell Ranges. It was then time to turn around to head to South Australia, and in doing so, we visited the Palm Valley, and made the 4WD detour through Owen Springs Reserve (an excellent shortcut that wasn’t too technically difficult), calling into the Henbury Craters, and the Lambert Centre of Australia. Our final stop was Coober Pedy, and we really enjoyed checking out the various dugouts and mines.
Today, we travelled from Kings Canyon along the Mereenie Loop / Red Centre Way to Glen Helen. We stopped off at the various sights that commanded, including Tnorala (Gosses Bluff), Redbank Gorge, Ormiston Gorge and Ormiston Pound. We decided to do that pound hike in the afternoon in order to maximise our time for the following day. We saw some wildlife including a snake drinking at one of the gorges. Some great and fascinating history and geology.
No issues with this geocache today. Some nice views from Tylers Pass. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Liz and Bruce for placing this cache, and redcenterdazza for its ongoing maintenance.

@Davidwazza and I travelled to the Northern Territory from Adelaide for a 2.5 weeks road trip holiday in the infamous black jeep. We took a route through Port Augusta, Woomera, Roxby Downs, Andamooka, and then drove the Oodnadatta Track via Coward Springs, William Creek (including a Lake Eyre scenic flight), Oodnadatta, and Marla. We then stayed a few nights in Alice Springs, and included a day trip to see the East MacDonell Ranges, before heading home in a more direct route through Palm Valley, Owen Springs Reserve, Henbury Craters, and the Lambert Centre of Australia, and finally Coober Pedy.
Today, we set off from Kings Canyon, along the Mereenie loop, making it all the way to Glen Helen Gorge

We are heading off on an outback adventure with Mrs Just a Trifle looking forward to visiting Goodward Station in Boulia, which was once owned by her grandfather, and Mr Just a Trifle hoping to climb Ayers Rock before it is permanently closed to climbing
As usual, with responsibilities caring for grand children and elderly parents, we still can not take the time we would really like to explore this great land of ours so yet again it is mostly an express trip through some terrific locations.
We had no difficulty in locating the cache and with our name added to the log book, we continued on our way.
Thank you Liz and Bruce for placing the cache and for maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

My husband and I were visiting Australia for 2 months from Victoria, BC which is on the west coast of Canada. We were driving from Kings Canyon to Alice Springs and stopped in here for a break and to check out the views. There was a couple having lunch under the shelter but they didn't see what I was doing. Quick find and cache ok.
We found it on our Tour from Curtin Springs to Glen Helen Lodge.

Flew up to Alice Springs for a conference, then met up with e.gregory1 for an epic road trip through the West MacDonnell Ranges, Mereenie Loop Rd, Kings Canyon, Luritja Rd, Ernest Giles Rd, Finke Gorge NP, Hermannsberg, Larapinta Drive, back to the Alice then down the Stuart Hwy to Adelaide, with awesome sights and great caches along the way. Thanks for the cache Liz and Bruce (and redcenterdazza!).
After spending four days travelling up on my own from Adelaide, I met up with FeatherWaite in Alice Springs for a few days of travelling around and caching.
We visited various places in the West Macdonnells, including Hugh Gorge, then went out to Kings Canyon, up the Finke Gorge track to Hermannsburg, into Palm Valley, then back to Adelaide, taking a week in all. We saw, and camped in some fantastic places, although the late September weather was a little warm!
Another quick find and a great spot for a view.
Thanks Liz and Bruce for the cache.
