Out again after dropping geo wife at work. Found what is left of cache. No log and no lid just the attracting part. Needs replacing.
Going to the Tah's semi final at the Football Stadium tonight (don't ask - didn't go well) and decided to grab a few caches first.
Found 3, DNFed 2 and DNAttempt another.
END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION
Found a park for this one and walked in along the foot/bike path.
At GZ, started a surreptitious search but spotted nothing. Threw caution to the wind and had a more thorough one despite the traffic. Still nothing.
Given finds here dried up a while ago I suspect it's gone. Cache check required.

After dropping YGAT at the airport I took the opportunity to pick up a long-solved mystery cache nearby then walked on to attempt this one. Due to the traffic I had to time my grab and luckily it was just where I expected it to be. Thanks for the cache The Ozkateers.
Really hard to look for this one with the traffic but I managed to grab it somehow haha. Thank you for the walk
Stopped off on the way back from the Airport Control Tower for this one. Parked in Dransfield Avenue and walked along the cycle way to GZ. A quick find once the traffic was flowing fast enough for me to not look too suspicious while searching. No bikes due to the wet weather. TFTC.
Needed to trust my instincts with this one. Accurate GPS. Needed to time my looks with the traffic. TFTC
Figured out the general area to look quite quickly, had to time the grab with the traffic TFTC
I spent a fair while looking for this one, and being put out by all the comments about how easy it is to find! Eventually I found it fallen to the hidden bottom part of its hidey hole, and it took a bit of removing as the peak hour traffic thundered past my head. Thanks for the cache!
Came with shadowills and D_blaze. We road down to the cache. Lots of cars, took quickly. Great hiding place.TFTC!
Found this today while cycling with shadowills boy and d_blaze. Cleverly hidden. TFTC
A short detour on the way home and managed to pick up four quick caches around here. Parking was the only issue here and then it was all good! TFTC!
I walked past the scene of many disasters with a dimpled white ball on the Par 3 hole to get to this cache. I had more success finding this hidey hole than the one on the green!
Missed once as passed too quickly but found it this time. As prev logs mentioned full logbook, I brought a strip of paper to do the job for the moment. Tftc
8/11/13. 12:15 PM. Cache #1046. After an FTF at nearby Gaiarene gardens, thought I'd get onto some other caches in the area. Crunchy Nutter was next; then had a long hot walk up to this one. Cache was poking out slightly from its hiding spot; when I returned it I put it more out of sight. Log is very full, but I found a spot to write sideways. TFTC }:)
The cache was home to a spider and it's nest. I cleared it out though. It's a good thing I'm not an arachnophobic or that might have ended in tears.
TFTC though!

Pretended I needed to tie up my shoe laces. Thanks for the cache. Love playing golf here whenever I get the chance (which is pretty much never . . . sigh!)
Standard guide rail hide. This was easier to find this time having approached from the west.
Parked at the closest spot about 300m south from GZ. Walked up in the drizzling rain and timed picking up the cache and replacing it with the flow of traffic as appropriate. Good thing I had some shoelaces to tie ;p TFTC Ozkateers
This one had been buging me for sometime like every time I drove past from work in the area finally had some time to take the walk TFTC
Needed a cache today for our calendar challenge and this was the chosen one. A quick detour on the way home from work and a nice walk from probably the nearest on street parking (600m) and the cache was soon in hand.

TFTC, Out and about early and took a walk back from the nearest parking, about 600m to complete the find before the traffic gets heavy. Visited a group of trackables.
Took the stroll along the pathway for the easy find once there was a suitable gap in the traffic.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Passed the side road where to park first, so had to make a couple of (legal) u-turns to get back.
Tftc. Lovely spot. Cache was easy to see but hard to get. It had fallen to the bottom on the safety rail
Lots of muggles in cars so had to wait until there was a clear run but easy find! TFTC!
A belated log for this one as we found we had not logged a find for this cache while we were looking at the Geocaching.com map of caches in the area this evening. Even Mr Ozjeeprer's less than perfect memory recalled that it was an easy stroll along the shared cycle/pedestrian pathway from where he had managed to find a park culminating in a quick, easy find in an obvious location - it's just the exact date that eludes him 04-22-12 seemes about right though).

Found it. Sorry not to sign logbook didn't have pencil but had cars coming straight at me
A bit time to spare before taking somebody from the airport. Nice and transquil are the lakes at this early in the morning!

Found fairly quickly on this wonderful Black Friday morning. The sparse morning traffic allowed me to grab car spot fairly close so only a short walk. Must return by pedal power. TFTC
Spent 10 minutes looking a couple of weeks ago and had to stop because Mrs x1048576 was geting impatient to continue her bike ride. This time I found it in about 10 seconds. TFTC!
Looked for half an hour for this cache last night, between the waves of traffic, but to no avail. The mozzies eventually got too much, maybe another day. Not sure how accurate the coordinates are, but there are limited hiding areas in the GZ vicinity. Very puzzling! TFTC
It took me two passes to finally spot the near to cache parking area, that I had spied on Google Earth.
The cache was a much quicker find, but as I was replacing it, it slipped down almost out of reach..almost. Thanks TO

Sorry if any of the info lead you up the garden path. You wont find any of that in the south eastern suburbs of Sydney. Come to think of it, that kind of vista is rare if existant anywhere within 10km of the largest city in Oz.
Hmmmm..... well that was disappointing, but then I guess I should have read the description before I headed into the cache site.
Here I was expecting a nice little cache down a bit of a bush track beside a half decent lake with a bit of birdlife about.....
Nope - guess it wasn't to be.
TFTC
Cheers

Walked down the busy road to cache site. A good cache find while over on holiday in and around Sydney. SL TFTC
#114. Easy find. Found a parking spot just down the road. Whilst walking to the cache, we saw the aftermath of a car accident on the on-ramp for the freeway overpath. Beautiful day to find a cache, the geokid was facsinated with the little stream. Cache fell from my hands, and spent several minutes trying to retrieve it. Thanks for the cache. Cheers.
Found this one while on lunch break. Had to park a further away than I thought I would.
Came here at nite.couldn't find anything.lots of muggles watching.we plan to go back on day time.thanks
Reperio at 1950. Parked just up from GZ in a makeshift driveway and walked back to GZ, where the cache was quickly found in between the changing lights.
Gratias.
Gratias.
As bycicle rider I enjoyed the hunt. Like to explore the bycicle path towards homebush bay. Thanks for the information.
Nice hide ! Was hard with so many muggles in cars stopping! TFTC found with Sammyj23
I misjudged the traffic on the way to a job on a sunday morning, and found myself 5 minutes from the job and with 25 minutes to get there, so detoured here for an early morning find. The hint was read to save time, but really only stopped me looking on the roadway (nah, not likely anyway) and on the trees nearby.
It still took a few minutes with a torch and mirror before the sneakily placed little beggar was revealed. Then, still with time to sape, I zipped to "Mutch Ado" for a 2nd find in the crisp cold sunrise hour.

Found on this rainy morning. The stream that runs under the road into the lakes looks as if it has been raging. It has mowed over all the vegetiation I quite enjoy caching in the rain, keeps the muggles at bay! Very tricky hide. My pen wouldn't work to sign the log so I took the US $1 note. Will return to sign log...

Almost posted a DNF when I visited with cyclist friend McMan. But we didn't have a GPS with us, just a lo-res print out of the map.
Went back just now with GPS and the coordinates was bang on GZ. Found it in <30 seconds.
Moral of story: Always bring your GPS when GCing
Since it seems most visitors are arriving by bicycle, left some tyre-patches.

While in Sydney this morning I was able to make a small detour and grab this cache.
It was a very busy spot here this morning with plenty of passing trade, both 2 and 4 wheels.
Thanks

Found this whilst down from Brisbane on a quick trip to teach VW on canopy fittments. Had no pen to sign log so let a eurocar logo as evidence I was there, next person can confirm, also left greenback there.quick find after a bit of a walk
A nice walk after a visit to the nearby hairdresser. We parked at Flower Power down the street and walked to GZ. SL TFTC Cheers..........Gaztek
I've been driving past this on my way to work every day and didn't realise it was there!
Opted for the biped mode of transport. Actually managed to see an eel or two in the East-Lakes.
As with others, a break in the light sequence allowed a quick grab, sign & replace.
I did enjoy the walk and stretched the legs.

After a little hunting cache found by Kaf. Geopups were no help due to proximity of traffic and ducks in the pond

Why am I always second? This was a simple ride by if I had my bike, which I didn't so it was an even better walk. Had to time my retrieval between traffic light sequences. TFTC
Great to see a new cache pop up in my area. Naz made the find as we both inspected the suspect structure... TFTC. FTF! Thanks Ozkateers.
