Looks like it's disappeared again. A little tired of having to replace this cache so archiving until I can think of a way to make a cache at this location last!
Nice find while in the area on holiday. (edited to visit a personal trackable)

Fancy that. Mr 10yrs has played all over this gun and we never noticed this cache.
Quick find which surprised me thought I was in for the long haul. Great spot Tftc
Gorgeous afternoon and we decided to take a drive. Couldn't resist looking for a few caches. Found quite quickly but then couldn't put it back because muggle arrived with "baby mugglies" and they were climbing all over GZ!!!!!! See photo. Had to wait ages. TFTC
Replaced with a magnetic nano till I work out something more clever.

Ahhh yes called into this little beauty on Friday folling a visit to the aquarium. Deffently missing.
I should have checked the site before i flew to dunedin. as it was my little one and i searched and searched but alas couldnt find.I even had her put her small arm inside the gun!Oh well hopefully it will be up again for next years visit home.
Looked over it, under it, round it and in it, all to no avail. Either an extremely good hide or muggled again. Keen to get this one as we like Cumbryrocks' caches.
Had a good hunt all over but couldn't find it. I hope it's just me being short sighted and it hasn't disappeared again.
Having a picnic. Is there a cache here somewhere. Oh 99 m away. Great spot.
Quick drive by today, found with ease and retrieved. pens not working, but had one of our own. got the log rerolled and placed back in the cache. returned to hide. TFTC
A fairly easy find despite the two muggles also having a close-up look at the gun. They wandered away being none the wiser to the cache hidden there.
Having a young boy with me helped give cover as to why we were looking at the gun.

After a thorough search with a torch we gave up. Only sign of a cache ever being here was a pen lying underneath.
Haven't been able to get on the internet - hence late log. Nice find while staying at the local campsite.
TFTC. Left Thanksgiving travel bug

A great one for Nik he took photos and saw the cache while shooting. Left behind HTHIJG with his new tag
An easy stop and grab. Enjoyed reading the history behind the guns restoration as I finished a coffee.
Cache was well exposed so pushed it into the breech just a little more, hope no 'Gunners' with big hands come searching.

Found with Jemnz and Mandnz. I remember playing on this every Sunday about 50 years ago when I had to visit Auntie Annie- she did make amazing pikelets with lashings of cream and raspberry jam though.
Found cache lying out on the ground, all it contained was the log book. No geocoin spotted. Txtd owner and have replaced (hopefully) as per instructions.

Mine & GP's 7th find today after lunch at the cafe- fish pie was perfect for the weather. To my horror GP found it while I faffed around with my Gps. False threats were made.

Nice spot. There is a very good playground nearby that has some great equipment which Guwapo enjoyed although Papa thinks some of them were still there when he played here as a young boy. Salamat!
Nice little seaside vantage point. It didn't take long to find the cache in its hiding spot. TFTC
Staying at the motor camp and what better way to spend a cold, showery day than geocaching the 'close-to-roads'.
Found eventually after ignoring the GPS indication. Gave the gun a good inspection in the process.

Found this at the end of a great day in the sun on the peninsula. Was my first find so thanks
Haha, GPS coordinates were WAY off (like 15m with 5m accuracy...) So we spent like half an hour looking for it in the bank...we were about to quit, but I decided to take a seat on the canon...and there I saw it!!!!!!!

A beautiful spot. TFTC. Dropped a geocoin wanting to visit Coastal areas of the world. Couldn't think of a better spot.
Found when staying at Portobello before doing the 15km Otago Peninsula walk. Interesting.
A quick find! Good that it isn't a micro on this gun! we never find those... T4TC and greetings from Switzerland!
During our 4 weeks holiday in the southern island of NZ we did not only find an exiting countryside and wildlife. The many caches brought us sometimes to places we didnĀ“t expect or planned to go to.
Thank you very much for this. Greetings from Germany.

Have driven past this site many times before and never noticed the gun before. An interesting background; I wonder where the second one ended up? TFTC!
Well done on the restoration, the Krupp is fantastic! Had the cache in hand pretty quickly on 08 January 2011 at 12:39:00. This was out sixth and final cache for the day, after a busy morning exploring around Portobello Rd.
Attempted to retreive cache with help from meekamax. Could see cache but couldn't reach container. Here for national bowls champs. Cant play bowls in rain but can go geocaching.
