Logs
Down here for the Dunedin Geo Toroa Event from the sunny Bay of Plenty,Tauranga and are with some of Team BoP. Great to get together with our fellow cachers. Signed Logs MDF. (McJandals,Davidson clan & NZ Flossy)I am logging using the Cachly App and using their template option which helps with my memory for logging. I genuinely thank every CO for their time and effort put into these caches. Much appreciated. ??????
Down in Dunedin for the Mega this weekend with McJandals and NZFLOSSY. Signed the log sheet MDF Thanks for the cache.
Arrived today from the Northern Island to attend Geo Toroa (Mega), as a group consisting of myself, HeMaLuDy, UncleSamNZ, keylev, NZ Travellers, and of course it would be rude to not locate caches as we left the airport heading into our accommodation in Dunedin.Signed in as SEAC to save logbook space and on our way to the next hide.TFTC.
Down in Dunedin for the Mega event. Travelling with Davidsonclan and McJandals. Really fun to be out and about with the team and catching up with other cachers friends m everywhere. Thanks to all the organisers and all the COs for some great caches. It is certainly a lovely area of New Zealand TFTC
After completing the aeroplane series it was time to branch out and find some others 'on the way' into Dunedin. Unfortunately we well overshot this one but a quick u turn and we were back on track. Nice quick find. Thanks for the cache. Signed as Team SEAC (South East Auckland Crew)
We are in Dunedin this weekend for the Mega with Stik-a-Crane, UncleSam, KeyLev, and NZTravellers. We have signed all logs as team SEAC to save space, especially as we know this weekend will be busy for all caches. We have landed, picked up the cars and the plane geoart and any other trads, multis, or puzzles we have solved are the targets for the day. We have had an amazing time and had very few DNF's for a very successful day with lots of laughs and memories made. TFTC
Team SEAC consisting of HeMaLuDy, Stik-a-crane, UncleSam, Keylev and ourselves headed to Dunedin for the 2024 MEGA!All logs were signed as SEAC to save paper (except where specific signing requirements were requested)Thanks to all the CO's who had maintained the caches as we found a majority with fresh paper and containers!TFTC
Here for a fun weekend with friends from Auckland to attend the 2024 Mega. All logs signed SEAC as a group. Very sorry for the generic plain logs. Thanks to all cache owners for placing the caches.
Great spot for a cache, thank you, and good to see the original logbook still in use.
Greetings from the Czech Republic and Thanks For This Cache.

4th find on school holiday cache feast. Log book pretty full and a bit wet, great hiding place
A quick find in a cool spot. Collecting all the caches along here on our drive tonight. TFTC
skaf and L found on a lovely day. Inside of the cache is…. Very Sticky. TFTC
This was a challenge today as the wood was wet and slippery and it was also blowing, Lucky NZ Bozzy was out for some other new caches down on the beach so helped me up and back down.
Easy find once in the right place.

Spotted the Old Man ok and stopped to retrieve the cache. No chance of stealth here as the dog set up a huge ruckus. Luckily either no one was home or they were ignoring the dog as we didn't see anyone. Log signed, cache replaced and we are off again. tftc
What a great old man. Quick P&G and off we went. Found with Flamingo 4850. TFTC.
We have come to Dunedin this weekend for our daughter's graduation. Unfortunately the ceremonies have been cancelled due to a terrorist threat. We are still making the best of our time here. I had to head to the airport to pick up our other daughter who was flying down from Auckland to celebrate with us. I found a few caches along the way. A good sized cache at the remains of the old man. TFTC, Biggles.
Low cloud and rain in the city - what better day to get out and do some caching! Driving further out, and the weather improved somewhat. Some sunshine even started appearing. Found the cache easily enough, but the two dogs across the road were not impressed with my presence. Barking is one thing, but hurling yourself against a fence and snarling is another, so a quick log and on to the next one.
The old man is very impressive.
The old man certainly has been through the mill.
The old man clearly has been used for multiple purposes overtime.
Here's to you, old man.

Dry cache full of swag had a new Signer to log the book. Bits got put in order and returned with another baggy. Thanks for the cache mate.
Noice big hide and noice dry cache full of swag and good size for a small cache. the Old Man has taken a hammering *(smoking is baddd for you)*, but provided a good spot for the 1.15Lt pot. SL on the loose cards after a sort out, and grabbed the goods in strong new baggy.
I called time on the [Qtown](https://coord.info/GC2KNFQ) cache everyone was logging even though the cache had been muggled by the larikins, inadvertently turning it into a virtual cache and no one had thought to drop a new box up there.
This one is lasting the distance way up here. TFTC

Quick park by me and grab by Kerynz. Difficult parking here. Left two travel bugs. Tftc!
Quick find with Frame Family. Big dog across the road made his presence known. TFTC
Indirect route from the airport to the city; what an amazing feature at GZ.
Thanks for highlighting it with this cache, fish_mate.

Nice quick drive by and log before enjoying the road again. Will have to come down on the bike sometime. Cheers
After a bit of the day it was great to head out this evening, enjoy the lovely weather and get some caches. Working slowly towards my 2000 for news years (last years resolution - might make it).
Thanks for the cache which was in good condition.

On the way to a barbecue out at Brighton I stopped for this one. The old man is still going strong it seems. Thanks
On a mission to get #2000, out with KJR. I'm a back seat cacher today with a leg in a brace while k does all the finding. Quick find tftc
I have set myself a mission to find 5 diverse and 20 caches in total before I have to be back in Balclutha to pick the kids up from school at 1500. This is find number 06 on my attempt. No need for a GPS for this one, spotted from just the title. Parking was the hardest part for this one but there is room a little way down the road. No body about so after a quick look I signed, grabbed a couple of photos and was away again. Log book nice and dry with plenty of room. Thanks for the cache, R-H
Today I have been granted a caching day by my lovely wife. (I’ll pay for it later I’m sure) so T-R-B and Roaming - Hayward will be completing 20 in a day and hopefully 5 diverse.
This is find number 06/20. This title made this cache was pretty obvious and it didn’t take too long to find where the little sucker was hiding. Had to park a little way down the road but the walk was nice. No one around so logbook signed and the photo taken. Then it was off to the next one.
Thanks for the cache. T-R-B.

Great location for this cache have not been up here for a long time. Came up to be nosiey at what was left after the fire that happened up here last week. Was amazing to see all the fence posts that were burnt through the bottom just hanging there on the fence wire with about 2 foot of post missing. TFTC ☺
The old man certainly took some heat in the past. It will be interesting to see how durable he is.
Down in Dunedin for a conference so what a great opportunity to collect a few non-local cache's that will help me meet the requirements for the GCLS out at Rangitoto Island.
Not to hard to grab once I had worked out where some of the hill roads went. Great views from up here grabbing a few quick caches before having to head back for the evenings festivities
Thanks for providing the opportunity to grab this one
