Quick find. Another find in this LGA and another find closer to 20 finds. Found with Mogni. The plan this October Long Weekend was to head over to Victoria and host 3 CITO's plus host my first geocaching event, also increase my finds to 20 in at least 5 victorian LGA's. Given that we were caching in the country alot of km's were travelled. The weather was raining on and off all saturday including the night time but by luck all 3 events that day were dry. The first CITO ( and the cache of the trip ) was in Kaniva at the wetlands, the next in CITO was in Dimboola at one of the rest areas, and placing a future challenage cache then slowly making our way to wycheproof canavan park which was our accomadation for the weekend and then up to Mount Wycheproof ( the smallest registered mountain in Australia - at 43metres tall ) for my coffee and sunset event. Sunday started off with a early 630 am CITO in the Mount Wycheproof wetlands reserve ( sorry i did forget about daylight savings when i made the time for the event but it was a dawn and light still ). Now off to swan hill ( which is my least favorite LGA to cache in ) and then a few more LGA's and back to the tent in the dark well past dinner. Then it was slowly heading home via the silo arts works along the way and walpuep and then over the border to pinaroo and home. We went through over a milk crate of spare containers and got 2 and 1/4 garage bags of cans and bottles. Any caches that were found broken/cracked/etc were replaced and any full log books were replaced.
A very cute place to stop and take a break. This cache nearly took my fingers off! Fun little find. Thanks Datruk
A nice place to stretch the legs and another LGA for me. Snips and Co has already got this LGA but was happy to stop.
Cute little park and ornaments. Would not have stopped here but for the cache. Thanks.
Tftf! Tried to avoid some weird looks from passers-by probably thinking "what are you doing with your hand up THERE?"
Cute indeed! Winter finally here which still makes for good caching. On a multi mission with weirdobiker at the Lameroo Ludicrous Leg Warmers events in SA and soon heading back east via a through different LGA's. Its been great exploring the country out west with plenty of highlights to remember. TFTC and the lure.
Couldnt get a stronger magnet could you?Wowzer! Anyhoo, eventually dislodged it. Thanks for the cache.
TFTC, Found after a family getaway with my new found son and his family, it couldnt have been a better weekend

As our convey of three vehicles headed across from SA through VIC & NSW, we are focusing on collecting some LGAs before heading to the ACT Mega. To save space on all log sheets, we signed as 5 for QLD.All caches we found were in good condition, and with the odd wet logbook being replaced with write in the rain paper.Thank you to all cache owners for placing these hides for the benefit of the geocaching community ??
We attended a Mega in Adelaide for Leap Year, and are now slowly making our way to Canberra for the Easter Mega. We called in here to find this cache as it ticks off another LGA for this state. We are using the Acronym 6 for QLD to sign the log sheets. Cool rest area.It was a pleasant drive through that countryside, and we were pleased to find all the caches on our list. So, log signed and cache replace as found on 16th March, 2024. TFTC, Datruk.
Heading now to Canberra, cross crossing across the states picking up LGAs as we travel.Caching with and signing as 5 for QLD. RoddyC hatzofff imbunda snickersallan and grannysmith1947.TFTCache Datruk and Honeysucker

Lovely day for a short bike ride. Reasonably easy find that brought us to a nice little park area. Lid has come off the container, but log still pretty safe from the weather.
Thanks

Nice find in this area. Paper quite damp. Replaced the zip lock bag and added another bit of paper. Found with Sarge5556 tftc.

We needed to stop and stretch our legs just as this cache popped up on my screen. What a fantastic little bit of artwork. Log signed with Astrobef. So much to see in the countryside. TFTC
Due to unforeseen circumstances Mr Smokey Bear will no longer be a part of Team Smokey Bear and will continue his adventures as "SmokeyBearOG".
So I'm relogging all previous finds under my new account.
Unfortunately this log will not show the original logging date.
**Thanks to Datruk for this adventure, looking forward to many more.**

In town cleaning up after harvest. Morning cool enough for no wriggly sticks (DZ is clear enough to not be a concern).
To cache mainterners, the log has never seen water. However, over the years suffers from pulling-out and pushing-in fatigue. A new log would be great.

What a good location! Thanks for placing the cache here for us to find. Log is starting to disintegrate. SL TN LN (because a mint tin is a micro and swag wont fit ️)
On our travels we stopped to grab this cache, that was one strong hide, loved the sculptures, thanks for placing this cache
Catching up on logging. After spending a week in Adelaide then driving to Lascelles yesterday we set off bright and early this morning as we had a wonderful day of Silo Hunting and Street art discovering ahead of us! We had a great time at Woomelang and then set off towards the next silo. We stopped here and admired the emus and of course found the cache

A quick stop on our way to Mildura. The container was located without a problem. Nice sculptures. Thanks to Datruk and Honeysucker for the cache.
Hubby and I are camping at Lake Lascelles for a couple of days. Great little town.Tftc, this cache has the strongest magnet ever made.
We are on our maiden caravan voyage and are camped in town at the caravan park.
We headed a little north today to visit the lake and continue the silo art trail.
Missed the cache on first pass, but found safe and secure and second pass.

#18856. Day 3 of our Vic/SA trip with Robmc the geodogs and our bicycles. A blue sky day today but still cold. A day spent travelling from St Arnaud to Patchewollock doing some AdLabs and various other caches along the way.
A busy spot alright but we waited until the cars passed and made a quick look and grab of the cache.
Thanks Datruk

Day three of our short South Australian trip with BettyBoo3747 and the geo-doggies.
The weather was a lot nicer today, but it was a traveling day - St Arnaud to Patchewollock.
A few AdLabs and a few caches near the road.
The roads were fairly quiet today, but we still had to wait a bit before grabbing the cache.
Nice sculptures here.
Thanks, Robmc.

TFTC such a great little park we are staying in this little town a few days paper in wet may need to be checked.
Out on the Silo Art Trail with a muggle friend and finding a few caches along the way. Loved the very unique sculptures here. A quick find. thanks for the placement
A quick stop and find on the trip back home. Picked where it would be hidden but didn't see it straight away till I moved to a different angle. Which was lucky as it was pretty warm standing in the sun and the flies were out in force.
This was a nice one as I have driven past here a lot and had never really noticed the emu sculptures before now. TFTC

Doing the silo run and picking up caches before leaving Horsham and heading to Melbourne. SL TFTC the magnet is a bit over kill.
After doing some cache maintenance in Ararat we are now on our way up to Mildura to do the fireworks up there for their New Year's Eve celebrations and of course we were stopping to grab any caches that are close to the road.
We nearly missed this one as we were chatting away but happily with no other traffic on the road we were able to come in from the other end. As we pulled up we admired the native birds and also the sculpture. We managed to grab a heap of scrap metal and turn it into birds that everyone knows well.
We didn't bother to take the GPS out of the car and headed off and located the cache in the first place we looked which can be quite unusual for us.
Thanks guys for the cache and for showing us these birds.

A quick stop and find on the away home from Mildura on our annual road trip somewhere.
Well, we certainly had an adventurous weekend.
2WDing in the little desert is harder than it sounds, when the car is supposed to be a 4wd..
So after being towed through a whole lot of sandy tracks, the group were off to do another one after lunch, but I didn't feel like breaking anything else, so we went the long way around, and found some caches on the way, most of which day1976 had already found.
Thanks to day1976's lovely log, I found the cache easily.

Day #7 of the Birthday Bush Bonanza! I went for a walk into town from camp and decided to wander down to this cache. It was the second time I had wandered into town without a pen but decided this time I would get creative with a stick or some dirt to mark my initials RH in the log.
I took a look in the most likely spot and sure enough there was the cache neatly hidden.
Thanks Datruk for the cache and for contributing to the game.

A short trip up the Henty Highway from Beulah is Hopetoun; we made a quick stop here to pick up a cache as our destination was still a distance away at Sea Lake, and we wanted to get there with plenty of time to photograph the sunset over Lake Tyrell. This area struck us as an odd spot for a rest stop with the busy Henty Highway adjacent. We pulled off the road safely and admired the sculptures before quickly finding the cache. The magnet is strong with this cache. The cache was in excellent condition. Thank you for this cache Datruk and Honeysucker
