With many tracks still closed due to excessive wet stuff we decided to head out to this one by foot, easy walk with quite a few wildflowers. Took a breather sitting by the lake before the last push up the hill where I discovered I'd neglected to out a torch in Oh well fingers crossed! Got up there and found gz and yep, the torch woulda been real handy poked around as much as possible but not very keen on the potential 8 legged critters, used a stick to assist listening for a give away clunk but to no avail so finally had to give up and hoof it back to the car
We placed there a new geocache with logbook. Enjoy this misterious tunnel cave! Happy geocaching for everyone!
We will be in the area again soon & would like to have another crack at this one. If the CO gets a chance could they check & see if this cache is still there. Thanks.
I guess someone forgot to close the gate, because it was wide open today. Not that we had any success in locating the cache. We looked in the two obvious places, even dropped a boy into a hole. Still no success. Thanks

Did not find this today, must have been looking in the right place, must take a good torch next time.
Thought we had the right spot but after a solid search with the torch & sticking our hands in a number of crevices alas there was no cache to be found.
We recently arrived in Halls Gap from SA for a few weeks stay in the beautiful Grampians. We hope to find a few caches while we are here.
A bright sunshiny day had us keen to do a bit of hiking so we parked at the end of Tunnel Road and walked to this cache. The scenery on each side of the mountain was breathtaking and to be able to grab a cache or two while walking the track is the cream on the cake
Geohubby very kindly did the 'dirty work' so to speak to find the hide, although it was much easier to find than we had anticipated.
No spiders spotted today although several webs were 'hanging around'
Many thanks for the hide DAZNAE [^]

The second day in the Grampians with The Morris.
We seem to have lucked an open gate for this cache and The Morris drove the 4WD right to the front gate.
He also found the cache, so I was really just along for the ride!
No spiders here today.
Thanks, Robmc.

Mr Morris enjoyed this drive-by and I'm surprised he didn't explore the area further. Its an interesting spot, thanks for showing us.
Found today by Mr & Mrs 1SR at 1100. Have visited here several times but not in a long time. Took the geo X trail all the way to the top park with no dramas. A quick easy find and a look around and back to Halls Gap for lunch.

Busy going through my GSAK database and updating caches I haven't sent a log for. Have been using GSAK to keep tabs on my finds. Thanks to the cache owners for the caches. Working my way through those caches that require emails with answers.
Out with Team Crackers Micaparamedic, Maccamob and Maccaholics and with so many people we were able to locate the cache quite quickly.
Thanks DAZNAE for the cache,
Regards Mr.Coffee and the Coffee Clan

Traveling with Mr Coffee and the Coffee Clan in their vehicle with micaparamedic in his we were joined by maccamob and maccaholics for the trip in. We were happy to see the gate at the bottom and the track itself was a nice easy drive to near gz where we left two vehicles because of the lack of room at gz, to turn around. Micaparamedic came up with the goods very quickly and then we all signed the log and then it was just a matter of turning all the cars around .
Thanks Daznow for a pleasant drive in and an interesting location to put a cache

Found by Mary & David, in company with Maccaholics, Team Crackers, Mr Coffee and micaparamedic, at 1225. When the other teams told us that they were going to do this cache next, we and Maccaholics decided to tag along. After an enjoyable drive along Bellfield Track, we turned uphill and arrived at the track junction about 200m from GZ. micaparamedic was in the lead, and continued on up the track to GZ. On his advice that there was enough room, Mr Coffee decided to follow. We elected to stay at the junction, as did Maccaholics. After some shuffling of passengers, David and Justin got a lift top the top with Mr Coffee, while the ladies stayed at the junction. micaparamedic already had the cache in hand when we all arrived, and we explored the cave and tunnel before heading down again. Our thanks again to DAZNAE.

Today is day twenty six and the final day of my epic journey from home in Melbourne to Alice Springs in NT via the Flinders Ranges is SA and back. It is not purely a caching holiday, but I still hope to pick up quite a few caches on the way.
More on my return to melbourne

If I had a torch I probably would have seen it quicker. Did this on a morning walk over the top from the east.
Things are not always exaclty where you imagine they will be.....
Nice hide, second of three today, never really had an excuse to drive over here but it was well worth it..
thanks for the cache

Found by Roma and Max.
It took us a while to sort our approach to your cache but once organized we were soon at the track intersection about 100m downhill from GZ.
Not sure what our exit strategy would be at GZ we opted to walk the final distance.
Good co-ordinates had us in the grotto and your container in hand in no time.
Even though we are not fans of micros hidden in the bush we did enjoy this experience more than we initially anticipated.
Thanks DAZNAE,
and cheers,
from Romax.
