No luck. Checked all the places the hint suggested. There is a new fence , wondered if the cache was on the old one.
Found it. My god there are a lot of cars that use this road. Being sneaky and discreet is not overly easy to be honest. Cache and log in good condition. TFTC
We were hanging out around Morisset and this is one of the caches we went for.
We parked across the road and walked over to gather our information and do some maths. We initially ran into a bit of confusion around which date was older but wiser heads soon prevailed.
Once we had the updated coordinates we went for a walk to make a fairly quick find.
Thanks for the cache and the small history lesson, we enjoyed reading about the bridge.

Made some bad math at first, then realised a silly mistake (counting). Signed and replaced.

We were in the area, and thought we'd have a go at settling some old scores - this one was part of our famous 'day-of-8-DNFs'. The coords we were using then seem to have been lost in a GPS changeover, so we did the recalculations, and went back to the area I recall searching before - and found it in the first place we looked.... Found on a very humid summer's day with temperatures in the 30s. We came down from Newcastle to get a few around the South West side of Lake Mac, found fearly quickly . Log signed and caches replaced as found. Thanks For The Cache CDM261
Found it. Threw the bike on the train to tackle the caches in Morrisett. This was anice easy multi to do. TFTC CDM261.
We have travelled up from Sydney’s Northern Beaches, staying for a couple of nights in a park cabin at the Lake Macquarie Big4 Tourist Park in Mannering Park, to continue with our caching adventures on the Western shores of Lake Macquarie. Our previous visit to the area was in March/April 2018 for the OZ GeoMuster 2018 Lake Mac Mega Event, where our family’s chief puzzle solver had managed to solve (unassisted) a good portion of the Mega GeoArt puzzle caches that were on offer. And this new visit will hopefully see us complete most of the missing pieces of that Mega GeoArt, thanks once again to our family’s chief puzzle solver’s (unassisted) puzzle solving efforts. This was the 1st of 22 finds for the day, and 1st of 73 finds for the weekend.
After a dismal DNF at our first cache stop we next came to this Multi, parking the geomobile at the end of the bridge and walking back to the plaque at WP1. Gathered the required info, did the computations, and soon had some coord numbers for final GZ. Off we went to final GZ, where we quickly had CIH. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. TFTC CDM261.

Teamed up with The Rats to tackle the back half of the Mega Oz GeoMuster event based in Morriset. We ventured up very early on Sunday morning and popped into the event before heading right up to the old Frying Pan cache. Then it was back around Maitland, Kurri Kurri, down around the bottom of Lake Macquarie and into the event, followed by some night caching in Newcastle. Monday it was a couple of events, many different cache types and homewards. TFTC!
I headed out with Joolay today with the aim to help her achieve as many cache types in a day as she could. We started with this quick multi. Info and cache found without much trouble - great way to start this kinda day. Many thanks for your cache
Greatly enjoyed reading the story about the preservation of the bats before we went to this multi. After a slight error in calcs (mine), we got it right and got the cache. Thanks for this Multi CDM261, and a fave for the story.

As part of a shortened Easter caching weekend, steeba and the Rats headed north to be part of the Geomuster mega weekend around the Lake Macquarie area. Traveling as far north as Frying Pan ck and down south to Doyalson we managed to find a good splattering of caches, including a new personal record of most types in a day.
Thanks to all the CO's for placing the caches, the interesteing locations and cache containers contributed to our great weekend.
This was a big day which started at dawn as we set about claiming our 12 types in a day. A nice easy multi to start the day

We read the information on this one last night & were fascinated by the story of the bats so made this one a priority today. TFTC
Day 3 of Oz Geo Muster Mega and our team (RoddyC, Snickersallan and Blue wattle) went searching for caches in the area.
After an early start today, we managed to find the Be My Cachertine caches as well as a few unique caches along the way.
It was a beautiful day to go caching around Lake Macquarie.
Now its dark, we went hunting by torchlight to gather the info needed to work out where GZ was. A quick find.
SL then returned as found.

Here for the OZGeomuster all weekend, Took a photo of the info on my way back from actually going Geocaching (rather than hanging around chatting to everyone - lol) the evening before... and had a quick look at/under the bridge before dashing back to camp for sausages, closing ceremony, talent show and fireworks. Picked it up on way out from Mega to the CITO/farewell events... didn't actually do the solving before I found it - someone just happened to mention something that gave away the approximate location of GZ, so I decided to have a look on my way past, and if I didn't find it I would solve it that evening while camping out past Cooranbong and grab it on my way home on Tuesday morning ... good thing I found it when I did - my plans changed when the lightning flashed and the heavens opened as I was driving back down from the Cito/Farewell events up the top end of the lake, and my afternoon caching/kayaking on the lake afterwards, and I decided to skip the whole camping near Coorabong idea and headed South, totally bypassing this area (went for a wet scenic detour in the dark to wait out the worst of the End of Easter traffic, drove through Sydney very late at night, and slept for a few hours in Belanglo State Forest and found a few caches down that way before heading the rest of the way home to Canberra
TFTC - interesting location/story about some interesting bats ... I wonder if any still live there?

Teamed up again as Trans Tasman Team which included dghoffy, Natalie247 and Granville68a, we signed as TTT. Today we were taking it a little easier as we wanted to achieve some of the things happening onsite as well.
Thanks to all the owners of the caches in the GeoMuster region, I had a fabulous time and thank you for your careful maintenance and placements of the caches. TFTC

Rapidlywild suggested we head up to the Oz Muster event when it was first published, so between us and a few others we set out to solve the puzzles around the area, not that we got to all of the ones we solved, what a shame we will have to return one day to collect them when the mosquitos are not as active.
We had a great time over the weekend, grabbed lots of caches and met some fellow cachers.
Thanks Rapidlywild for another enjoyable geoadventure.

Found signed dsd. Had to make two trips to the area before the cache was in hand
Leaving Sydney very early Friday and arrived in Morisset at 8am to join the caching group (5/P) meaning five puzzle solvers and we signed all logs with this simple sign in to save space in the many logs that we found over the W/E.
First on our list were the LMHS series followed by a few local caches and then we tackled the OZGeomuster and some more caches in the area over the next three days.
I would like to thank all the folk responsible for placing all the caches that we found because this will have to be a cut and paste operation owing to the number of finds.
With more good luck than anything else we only had one DNF for the W/e but we could see the red bison but it was beyond our capabilities to gain access to the log.
I have say a huge thanks to the committee for the smooth running of the weekend.
We encountered some of the local wild life a huge black snake about seven foot long and a smaller brown. They are out there so be careful.
I also helped to keep the local Leech population to survive with a donation of my blood. Did not feel a thing and this is not the first time I have helped them out but that was in another state. Gosh they make a mess of your clothes before the blood stops dribbling out.
This was my fifth Mega and looking forward to the next one later this year in Victoria.

Attending the Mega over the w/end and down from Qld for a few days. Love the story behind Bats Bridge. Well you made me shake some cobwebs out of my head as I worked out the maths. But no worries soon sorted. Thanks for the cache CDM261
Its GeoMuster time around the Lake Mac. Been planning to attend this one for a while and was happy to see it get Mega status. Very enjoyable weekend away with FurfacesLL #1 and catching up with so many different cachers.
2 days down and we have collected a heap of finds already. After finishing the LMHS series with Roostaman this morning, we had some lunch and then headed off to find some more caches.
The mozzies were getting on our nerves so we were trying to decide what we wanted to do. So we went back to the Showgrounds to chat with Roostaman and Mrs Roosta, to our surprise, we were just in time to enjoy the fireworks. We then went and did this multi before calling it a night. No issues with the multi or the find.
Thanks for the cache hide CDM261 its been a fab weekend!

On a beautiful day, enjoying caching with our NZ friends at the mega, signing as TTT trans tasman team. A quick multi and find, which is much appreciated on this hot afternoon. Tftc
After attending the morning's sessions at the Mega, I walked down to this one, doing the arithmetic and making a quick find of the cache. An interesting read on the history of the bats in the bridge (makes a change from the belfries I suppose) and I hope they like their new home.
Many thanks for an enjoyable cache.

Waking up at normal time for me, it was actually 1 hour earlier. Score - an extra hour of caching!
This was the first for the day, and at such an early hour - no cars or muggles around making this so much easier. Left the phone in the car, so had to do the calculations on paper. All good, and soon had the cache in hand.
Thanks for the fun

We must have been tired when we got here. I couldn't count to save my life and when we finally worked out the coordinated for GZ, stainless steel rat was searching on the wrong side of the road. Somehow we bumbled through it and found the cache. Thanks CDM261 I'm sure it wasn't meant to be that hard
After jetting in from Townsville last night and collecting the GeoArt series we targeted a variety of types, interesting puzzles and most favourited today.
This one was quickly obtained with the help of Tardis before breakfast.
Thanks For the effort to organise and maintain.

Out and about doing a few caches after spending time at the nearby OzGeoMuster today.
It pays to read instructions carefully. After finding that my initial calculations would have taken me me onto private property, I saw that I had only done the first step on the eastings. So back to the plaque I went and this time, I came up with much more plausible coords. A quick find was then made, funnily enough in a spot that I had already speculated might have been where the cache would be.
Thanks for a nice little multi CDM261.

Found this one on a morning stroll with MMH&M from our campsite at the GeoMuster. Didn’t have any problems with thit coords and found both the info sign and the cache quickly. Thanks for the lesson about the bats - that’s awesome!
This was chosen to be No. 5 in the list of 10 caches to be found today. It was a lovely little multi and the new co-ords worked out well so it was off to make the find. Staying at the showground for the Mega event meant we had a good day's caching and so many to look for. Our thanks go to CDM261 for placing this multi cache. The log was signed and all was replaced where it had been found before we moved on.
After a lesson on multis from The_Garbageman at the Mega event went to try my luck and whacko worked it out and found it, my first Multi wooow.

Out and about on this warm day at the Geomuster2018 with Contactpete, Czech_it_out and Found!t.
I hadn't planned to do a multi cache while I was up here for the Mega Event as this is my only day but as I drove across the bridge towards Morisset after grabbing a few caches in Cooranbong I decided to stop as it was still really early. I found the necessary information at WP1 and crunched the numbers producing an answer that to the eye looked promising, the only problem was the GPS then pointed me away from the bridge. While I was checking my count the GPS suddenly decided to point me onto the bridge so I headed off. Good co-ordinates produced the cache. Signed the log and headed on towards the event.

Having reached her milestone it was time to start some serious Mega caching. Joining forces with Holograms, the Owl and the Rat made some caching memories to take home to Adelaide. This was a multi started by Holograms and finished by the trio. The fish were in fine form and another geocacher (J&J.au) turned up just as they were finishing.

Hanging around in Morisset this morning waiting for my sister to arrive on a train. Decided to do a few geocaches in town. Can't wait to Easter.
Ahhh the rain. As I was using my camera as a disguise today, I had to wait for the rain to ease before getting the info to solve this. On the way I guessed whare the final location would be and I was on the money so after finding the right coordinated back in the car and again waiting for more reason to pass, I ducked out to grab, sign and replace it between traffic. I actually filmed the water with all is pretty rain-created circles with my camera while there.

For a moment we thought that we had to do some serious bridge work, but when we looked at the Terrain rating we were relieved. however we then thought that we were on the wrong side of the road, but before we crossed, p-pprass had a look in a logical spot and way in there was the cache. However it was barred by a heap of spider's webs
Thanks CDM261.
