Drive today. Look around oh found it. Disappointed that it's archive. Will do something again.
Been checked there and no worth to replace new as the gate is still closed. Thanks for coming and found it.
Let you know please dont go there as I prefer anyone go there due of fire so I will let you know if I can access there as I cant access at the moment.
While the owner is still to check this cache, it should be disabled to stop people from looking unnessarily.
I had to walk in as the in gate was closed - possibly due to the Total Fire Ban which turned out not to be necessary.

No luck on this one, I rang a previous finder but could not find the object in question. May pay to disable till checked.
Couldnt drive into Duffy's Lookout park as closed for rejuvenation during winter - had to drive back to first park area and walk in approx 680m on nice bush walk - and of course muggle free once in there. Hunted around for a bit as co-ords were showing about 8m away from where GZ was - nice hide thanks Crank1 TNLN - Regards Sarian
Found @ 3:25pm , find # 1367
On the way home I thought that I would stop off in this area to find a few caches.
As I was driving in, I saw a lot of muggles about but lucky for me the GZ area was muggle free, Once I arrived I had a bit of a look around then I noticed something and on closer inspection It was what I was looking for.
Thanks to crank1 for this cache.

What a great hide! I had one similar in the UK, just not so well executed. That got muggled by the local badgers. I guess you don't get the same problem with roos.
We couldn't get to this t'other day as the gates were locked.

Found today with Irontoad. I looked at where the cache was but didn't see it but luckily Irontoad saw it and we were able to log it. We were the only people at the lookout but as we were leaving a park ranger came around to do a check.
Thanks for the cache crank1 - great camo.

Having completed a tour of the reservoir picnic grounds, it was time to proceed over here. I was able to park right near GZ and after spiralling my way inwards, I soon had the cleverly hidden cache in hand at 12:50. Very nicely done .
TNLNSL, although our BYO pen geocoin had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks crank1.

The Chief jumped out of the car at the carpark and spotted the people we'd seen near a previous cache, so he barrelled over to introduce himself with a "Did you find it?". One of the "cachers" mentioned a mob had just moved through and I noted they had cameras, not GPSr's in their hands. Uh oh! We found ourselves explaining geocaching to a group of sight seers and kangaroo spotters! We enjoyed the cache once we got around to actually doing it! Then we traipsed off into the bush to finish off a multi...TFTC
This was my second attempt at this one as I got muggled out the first time and was a bit wet behind the ears back then. I have been caching for over a month now and find I am starting to develop a keener eye for finding caches. Found it almost straight away this time. Nice hide!

I was out east today to do a little sight seeing around the are with my friend who loved photography. After having a delicious lunch at the Emerald Bakery and going to the Emerald lake, we made our way back with Duffy's lookout on the way back. I told them that there was a cache here but they ended up going out of pure interest in the lookout, not the cache . We were quite disappointed as we didn't see any spectacular views and Mum had to park outside the spikes and stay in the car as the carpark was closed. The cache was a very good hide though in a nice spot (with no views!). It didn't take me long to locate once I was at the right spot, and a cacher's eye certainly assisted in the find. Thanks for a nice cache crank1!
Found 18:30, just before a thunder squall hit (just got back to the car in time). A great hide.

Wowee.. After joking about it being a cache it took me 30min to realize it was it. Great cache
Third of five in the park today. I must have kicked this one about 5 times in the course of the search. Very good.
My daughter had a party in nearby Rowville. It was a rather long kids party of four hours duration so my son and I went on a caching adventure together. We thought we could gather up 16 caches in that time, but due to a few DNF we were not able to gather as many as we thought we could. The adventure was rather good as my son was able to find the majority of the caches by himself. We were both rather please with his caching sense. This was one cache we were able to find today on our adventure.
This one was the last of the day before we picked up the geodaughter. We had to clib through (son) and over (dad) to access the reserve as it was closed. We ran to the cache and it was found hidden very nicely at GZ. We ran back before we were caught in a place we shouldn't have been today. Thanks crank1.

A clever hide this one which I initialy missed. A nice area which I have not been to before, thankyou for bringing me here. Today there was no one around which made searching for the cache easy. TFTC.

I've seen lookouts with better outlooks but it still a nice place all the same and the hide is clever. We wondered how much we missed ahomburg by.

Had just finished paddling around Aura Vale Lake and decided due to the exceptional weather, I would try to find some caches in the area. There was a big group of elderly folks having a BBQ under the rotunda and no sign of anyone else. I headed toward the cache and made the find without being spotted. Nice camo.
Thanks to crank1 for bringing me here and for the cache. It is amazing what great spots you discover whilst out caching.

I suspect Duffy might of had a great view of the dam wall before all the trees grew up. Now he just has a nice picnic area.
A large group was utilizing the area when we arrived, but didn't notice us nip into the bushes.
Nice hide.
Thanks, Robmc.

We were all here to day as part of the 2011 JOTT (Jamboree On The Trail) Cub Scout Hike.
Team Morno - Saulman1010, Bigear12, Geobrat200 and the rest of 1st Mornington Cub Scouts could not help but grab this one as we walked right past it.
TFTC and the nice walk in the park - I get another find and all the Cubs get a Badge!
Last one for the day on the way out. Nice easy find close to the carpark after a long hike.

I really enjoyed this cache. Took me a liite while to find and i ended up using my cub to find it. We were here as part of the region JOTT and this was the 4th to find for the day of 5 and had to detour a little to go find it. Tftc
I arrived here well before the closing time, but the entrance gate was shut. I walked in the exit and headed to GZ for a quick find, passing a family of 4 kangaroos on the way. In all my trips to Cardinia Reservoir, I don't think I've ever been here. Thanks for a nicely camouflaged cache, and for showing me another lovely area.

My last visit to this area was for a coup[le of caches several years ago - and I didn't visit this particular spot on that occasion, so it was great to check it out today (it seems to be getting harder and harder to find a spot that hasn't had a cache in it before, these days). Despite it being a very lovely afternoon, there didn't seem to be that many visitors taking in the views from this spot, so I had no troubles with muggles while I made my way to GZ, where I quickly managed to spot the nicely concealed container.

Thanks crank1 - some nice handiwork there!

TFTC.....nice spot, Well constructed container made me laugh. Lot of effort appears to have been put into this GZ.

With terrific weather about today,it looked like a good time to knock over a few caches in the area that have continually nagged me as I've driven past.
Started the day out teaming up with the swaggies untill a inconvenient call ended a goods days caching.
Many thanks for the walk and the views were a bonus cheers crank1.

Drove up here today and found the place full of people and cars. Managed to time our retrieval pretty well though. Good hide crank1 and much better than a lot of eclipse containers.

I ended up doing this one first of the three in this park, today, which would not have been a problem, but I drove right past the re-entry gate without realising. Never mind.
I also walked far further than I had to, to get to it, but it was a lovely morning and a very clever hide. Well done crank1!

Found with LouiseAnn. This one had us looking for a while. When I found it I relised that it the first thing I looked at and discarded it! Grat hide. Thanks.
We looked for this one for way too long!! I love the container, well done crank1!
Awesome hide!! Love it!!
Bit of trouble opening it as the moisture had made lid swell...car key to the rescue!!

6 of 15 finds for today. Quite a hot day, so doing the multis and trads in the reserve today took a lot of walking and a lot of water drinking. Nice quick find. TFTC.
Mrs Crackers returned here to today to sign the log for this cache after we were unable to back in November. It was raining when she arrived but that wasn't a problem this time
Thanks crank1 for the cache

We pulled up here today and couldn't believe that there was actually a party going on here in this weather, fortunately the cache was hidden far enough that this wasn't a problem. After about a ten minute search we located the well hidden cache but try as we would we couldn't open the container. We decided to leave it rather than risk breaking it, we will contact Crank1 to see if we've missed anything
I will go and take it home to fix it again.. Thanks for letting me know Team Crackers Yes what I thought.
*FTF* When this one popped up last night I thought I would leave it and pick it up in the morning since the description said gates opened at 10:30 but I knew from my previous visit to the park that it is accessible by walking tracks 24/7, All I had to do was arrive before 10:30 and walk in. Arrived a little before 9am and parked near an open gate and headed onto the walking track. The walking track goes past the gate and I noticed the gates where open, I considered walking back and getting my car for about a 10th of a second before I remembered what I enjoy doing while caching.. walking. Arrived at GZ to find not a sole or car in sight. Took me some time to find the cache since I was testing out a new Garmin Android smart phone and I had not got used to the operation yet. When I found the cache I was impressed with the hide. A nice change from those pesky Nano's ! On my way out I waved to a parks officer who got startled when he was quietly parked at the side of the road and noticed the lone walker. Thanks crank for a cool cache. Note: To Madwizzard and AzzAndJadey - local knowledge goes a long way.
Mmmm Not too sure what the hell's going on here since the gates don't open until 10:30am and we were here and found it at 10:32am so I am going to log this as a FTF.
This is a very clever cache hide crank1 I have only seen a couple like this.
Thanks for bringing us up here this morning. We had just signed the log and were about to put it back when AzzAndJadey turned up and caught us with the cache in hand.
Nice to meet you AzzAndJadey and as far as we are concerned you were next to log it after us. I hope you find many more in your travels and please stay in touch.
Many thanks to cranck1 for another fine cache. TNLN

What a great hide this was, thank you Crank1! This is one of AzzAndJadey's fav picnic (and now caching) spots, so I was excited to pickup my first cache here even if the better half of this team had to work so missed out
I knew I wasn't going to get the *FTF* when I left the city only a few minutes before 10am
A great run out had me at GZ only a few mins after the gates opened & bumped into Madwizzard with cache still in hand
Disappointed to see the log had already been signed before the gates to the park even opened!
