###Please write a write note for this cache instead of a DNF for the time being. I will endeavour to get out here and replace this one by the end of September. Thanks so much.###
I note the DNFs on the cache hide. The cache should be beside the track at the base of the tree, which from memory is two trunks close together.
I will leave this cache a bit longer now I have given a direct hint and see what the result is, and target it for maintenance.
>>If anyone feels like have the right location and the cache is not present feel free in the mean time to place a mint tin. thank you.

Try as we might, we have all the usual places a thorough search but came up empty handed.
Had a solid look here but no container found other than an empty glass bottle. But it was a fun place to drive to (and the closest we got to water).
Came down here for a look (bit of a detour with the bridge closed) and poked around a few of the larger trees, but I didnt find the cache. Being short of time, I had to move on (also started to rain while I was here).

12:35 Great hiding place. Took a fair bit of time to find as we are not a member.
11:44 am -- Thanks for the hunt and Thanks for bringing us here to this location wbfoto.
**Cache Condition:** Missing.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Nothing.
**Trackables:** None seen in this cache today.
**The Cache**
I firstly checked at the coordinates posted by cacher O319 and then at the original posted coordinates and but did not find anything. I have replaced the cache at the original coordinates. It was such a hot day everyone was hanging out for a dip here in the Lachlan but I am not in favour of muddy river bottoms and tree trunks littered within, creeps me out, so I forgoed the swim. *Mr ToC*, *Little Kitten* and *Dusty Jasper Jet* were good to go in their bathers. *Mr ToC* went in ankle deep waited a few moments before announcing the water is ice cold and he didn't think he would be going swimming. Further down the river he again went in ankle deep and I said "You wouldn't want to slip." A few moments passed and as he was turning around to exit the water there was a sudden splash and a moment later up comes *Mr ToC* gasping with the chill of an encounter with ice water. We could not help but laugh.
**The Day**
OCW *Mr ToC*, *Little Kitten* and *DustyJapserJet* for a quick weekend caching and cache maintenance, and WOW, what a weekend it was - Absolutely AMAZING !!! We had a fantasic time. A bit sunburnt [:o)] on the drivers side arm, tired, exercised and very happy from a journying through some amazing countryside. We found a bunny among bricks beside a cache , sheep running loose outside fencelines, fortunely No snakes . A hot day but a nice breeze is blowing.
51 = 45 2 4 [8)] not attempted.

Found while OCW *Throsbyonchurch* and *DustyJasperJet* Thanks for the cache hide. SL and returned cache to where we found it. ♡♡☆☆
Cache found out in the open at S 33° 58.451 E 148° 56.460. Hidden in the nearest ????? log.
I had a caching route planned for today, grabbing a few T5 caches and a power trail, with scattered caches between.
I had a caching route planned for today, grabbing a few T5 caches and a power trail, with scattered caches between them.
I took a wrong trail on the trail that came to a fallen tree across the track. With only 100m to go I just parked my car and walked the rest.
I found the cache 30m away from the published coordinates. I hag to use the hint to identify the proper location.
Thanks for the cache.

Was 15m or so off gz, but was found using hint. That is a massive tree. Never seen such a huge gum tree b4. Tftc
Found it on a sunny Easter Sunday while staying in Cowra. Again geohubby had to take the 4WD as close as he could to GZ. Quick find thanks to the hint. TFTC
A week before my big trip to SA there was time for one last day trip. This time I headed out to Wyangla Dam region. Happily none of the fishermen were down here and I could poke around in peace. Peace from people but not nettles ! ouch ! The clue got me to this one in the end. Thanks.

I bounced the geomobile along the track to GZ and hopped out to find me a cache
Nice riverside location, with plenty of water flowing past, and no sirens sounding
I wandered around the area for a while without finding a cache in any obvious place.
So as the stings to me lower legs eased, I read the cache notes
Oh yes !!
Only If would wander through a field of nettles wearing shorts
The cache notes gave me new hope of finding something.
And about 15 metres from GZ, I peeked into the end of a log and found not one, but two caches
I signed both logbooks, just to be sure

Stinging Nettle, blackberries, we found the cache all the same. Surprised to find another car out here.
Found at 4:22:00 PM.
A day of caching around and above the dam with the family and camping and caching friends.
A note to future finders, be very careful of all the stinging nettle that is infesting this otherwise lovely area. Found 2 cache in the hole!
Found with DogBoyOz and the JmanJezzas
Thanks wbfoto

Found this one after a lot of looking, my g.p.s was being a real pain, like yours was, it was about 15 meters wrong, I got it in the end. Thanks.
Yet another track we would not normally taken if there wasn't a cache at the end. Took a while to find, in the end we found 2 ! Ended up staying on to eat our lunch overlooking the river. SL TFTC

Had a good look but later relised after reading some logs we were probably at the wrong trees.
Will be back again.
Will be back again.
I think we found were it should be but it was guarded by a thicket of blackberry bushes which we were not keen to tame.
Nothing here for us...the nettles were overgrown which made it difficult for us to search... we gave up. Thanks.
Scored in the company of SolDeLune and the Winglens.
Lovely area, quite tranquil. Cache Nabbed by Mr Winglen while us others were scouring all of the other possible areas.
BTW now that's a pretty impressive gum tree.
Thanks for the cache.

Lovely river gums down here along this track. We got pretty close, then made an easy find (apart from getting stung by a nettle which had my thumb tingling all day and into the next so caution to future finders). Thanks wbfoto - how are you going with the flood of logs?
A very cool area with lots of river gums. Although as we went in, one car came out with a trailer full of neatly sawn logs. Interesting??
Cache was found quick enough and all was good. TFTC

The "Road Closed" sign was a bit off putting to start with but then we spotted the second sign that indicated a detour. Around past the outlet point of the dam and off up the track towards GZ.
Followed the track to where the GPS said it was close and had the cache in hand soon after.
Wonder where the trail leads to.

After a few miss guided turns to find access to the picnic area we slipped down this old track to GZ. The hard part was the turn around before heading back out.
JABs.

Found at 1.25pm.
A quiet and peaceful area with some magnificent trees.
There was alot of nettles around gz - not good with bare legs, so I mowed a few down to reach the cache

Thanks

A quick find in the eerie calm after the storm passed by.
Thanks.

The main bridge is actually closed right now, so we came via the picnic area and the access route up there, easy drive in. Easy find.

found this cache after a nice short drive from the park below the dam wall. The coordinates were a bit out but the clue put us in the right spot. The recent rain ensured that there were lots of stinging nettles and giant mozzies in the area. I tried to be careful but a nettle still got me, can't believe that they eat these things in some parts of the UK.
We were just about to give up on this one due to the stinging nettle, the blackberries and the mossies that wanted to pick you up and take you away, plus it was almost dark. But perseverance payed off in the end and after another bad caching day by one Smelly the other Smelly finally came up with the goods in an already searched spot. A lovely spot we're sure, but it's hard to take in the beauty when you're walking around the bush in shorts and thongs with stinging nettle everywhere - advice to fellow cachers - where long pants and shoes. Thanks wbfoto, a lovely set of caches in a lovely area - now we just have to figure out the other three in the area and we'll be back.
This is a great spot to camp and stuff, close to the village but a million miles away, sorry the coord's are 20ódd out on this one ! the clue was again a winner here, great spot, our last for the quick day out, many thanx for this fine new series, we shall do the others later in another forbie of the scrathable variety , cheers
