6765. Cool indeed!! Out for the day geocaching from our base in Kumara to Lake Kaniere. This was cache number fourteen of twenty one for the day. An easy cache right by the road. We love this engineering feat. Thanks for the cache. Rodney and Iris.
Day 2 of my two day exploration of the West Coast Wilderness Trail. A friend dropped me off at the Kawhaka Intake and I hoped to meet him again in Hokitika in 5 hours time.Nice quick find as I rode the final leg toward Hokitika. TFTC.
What started as a plan to just bike a bit of the cycle trail from the Kawhaka weir evolved in a through trip right round to Hoki, 51.2km in fact. It was a bit like trying to herd cats getting organised, but it turned out to be a great afternoon out.
Cheers and thanks,
S.t.

Enjoying caching while cycling the excellent West Coast Wilderness Trail. So pleased that yesterday's heavy rain has disappeared.
Found with Mapper Ted while biking into Hokitika in the sunshine . TFTC Bitsprayer.
Looks like it could be fun going across and still looks like usable codition. TFTC

Quick stop on my Easter trip riding the new cycleway. Nobody warned me about the large spider 'haqre fgrc'!
A quick easy find at an appropriately named cache. It looks as if it should still work. TFTC
A break in the wet weather allowed us to find this cache, we didn't even realise there was a powerstation nearby, great history. TFTC.
Out for a spin to round the lake and collect a cache or two! Really liked this one. A fave! TFTC.
After 2 caches that I wasn't able to find I enjoyed this easy grab on my way to Lake Kaniere. Thanks for that!

Quick find on our visit from Scotland. Surprised some enterprising thrill company hasn't utilised this as a visitor attraction! T4TC

I must agree with the cache title. Must be used only occaissionally, cos the cache was well visible to anyone leaving the device. Thanks for the stop.
Cache was quite visible so tucked it in a little bit better. No flying foxes today. TFTC.
Found at 8.50am after camping at the nearby lake.
Neat form of transport, all locked up though

Thanks

Pity about the padlock, it's a while since I've had to get across a river in one of these things (and great fun it is too!). TNLN Thanks
