This cache is missing. Had been for ages. Interesting how the new app doesn't let you log "needs maintenance" logs.
Had a good look around. Even went down the hill but no luck. If you go searching, be careful of the Tiger Pears - see image.
Parked above above and followed the sign with almost my real name. I had a good look all about for a while but no luck for me today.
As for the lookout - I think they mean for broken glass. There was so so much down here. Definitely not good for un-sure footwear or un-sure footed people. Bring gloves and/or a first aid kit if you are not-so-sure-footed and going to try for this one.

Orange trip April 2016. A long day caching in the area leading towards Orange via Cudal and Wellington. No luck here for me, but it seems to be a while since it was last found.
Thanks.

Well I found a round cache container that looked more like a throw down cache. It certainly wasn't an ammo box. Didn't like having to slide down the hill disturbing fragile vegetation.
Interesting container here but safe in hiding place.
Great view up here.
Thanks VJ for the hunting and cache.

Found a replacement cache but no ammo container.
The area was a bit messy but the views were a beautiful sight.

#9 found for the day
Went hunting for this cache, approached ground zero, found the geocache paper instruction but no more ammo box, retrieve container from our vehicle, add a new log sheet and replace cache at ground zero.
If we were wrong can the owner rectify please ? Currently container a round take away food.
TFTC ☺️

Today we explored Wellington and surrounds using geocaching as a guide and completing 200 Ks for the day on very scenic roads.
Thanks to all cache owners for placing and maintaining these caches for our enjoyment.

It is a lovely lookout and a nice container so it's a real shame The cache is hidden in such a horrible spot, there are so many broken bottles it's not funny. There are lots of great spots up the hill rather then down it. This took me a while to find. My gps and the hint was no help. note the ammo box with swaps is still there.
I did the nearby apex and burrungee trail, which took less than an hour, was quiet easy and has great views!

[font=Comic Sans MS]Hi there "VJ". We found your cache "Enjoy The Views 1" at 1:03:00 PM today.
This was our 3rd cache find in a caching run of 6 Finds & 0 DNFs today. (So this now makes our find count 9043.)
[Blue]
We only found a small, empty container at GZ. As there was no log book we supplied a sheet of paper from our notebook.
[/Blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: Excellent. (We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.)
Cache Condition: Container is empty..
Took: Nothing.
Left: Nothing.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards

Also We took nothing but left a opal that we found up in lightning ridge a while back. Thanks
Found the day of the vintage car show. I am sure most of these cars are used by the local as an every day car
Found with free camping.com TN left travel bug which is starting its journey. TFTC No pen in cache.
The views we enjoyed, but the rubbish - including used syringes - we did not. Seems to be a popular hangout at night for the 'not-so-well-to-do'. Found an easy way to climb back to the car.
The views were good in the rising heat, the hypodermic needles and other rubbish here did not make for a fun place to search.
Well worth the drive up here to check out the view. As Team Webguy noted a few syringes around. Next time I would bring better shoes to get down the embankment. TFTC.
On my way toDubbo for a work thing. TFTC. SL That was thee wake up I needed cheers

1587. Well I managed to get down there after spending some time looking at the view, signed the log then, well - the getting back up was a minor challenge but it was traversed ok signed log 2:15 left a magnet as it looked pretty empty when i opened the cache... TN

On our way home to Canberra from visiting niece in Weetaliba. So we had to make some stops along the way! This was one of them.
This one was a little out the way - but why not...
This one was very well hidden, and it took a while to find. The hint was of no practicable value. The views at the top were nice. Unfortunately there is a lot of little down here, and also there are signs of erosion on the steep slope... Maybe next time you are up here, there may be a better place....
Thanks again VeeJay.

Geohubster's jaw dropped when I said I was going down to grab this cache - but will you be able to get back up... Well my dear I won't get much of a choice now will I!
The hint didn't make sense, GPS went a little crazy down the bottom but soon spotted the tell tale signs of a cache in hiding. Nice views, TFTC

It's down there? Hmm better park so the geogranny can't see what I'm doing. Oh yeah it's steep, I'm too old for this nonsense, lots of nastie things here but it's a proper cache anyway, now to get back up.
Found with wing6rider during our 2 day run through the region....
Yep, great views from up here.......and it was great day to be here.
Cache was found after the walk down and all was good with it. Left a TB.
Thanks for bringing us up here.

The views are great and we found the cache after a bit of a scramble down the slope. We could not make sense of the clue though? Great container, it's nice to see these now and then! Thanks VJ
The last time I was here was 40+ years ago leading about ten scouts on a walk from the scout hall on the other side of town. We'd come up from Sydney for a long weekend. This time it was by car, no King Brown snakes, and apart from the scramble down from the LO it was an easy find. Dropped off TB R1EYJE "Goose".

The slope is quite unstable so required careful negotiation both from my footing and to avoid all the broken glass and other rubbish. The journey was worth it both for the ammo tin and the stunning view from above

I did enjoy the view from the lookout over Wello
But why, oh why, is the cache hidden down here below the lookout where all the ferals toss their bottles, bongs, needles and anything else they don't want to take home again ?
But an ammo tin is an ammo tin, so I was prepared to make the journey into the waste pit to find it
It took a good 10 minutes but eventually I turned around in just the right spot to spot the cache
We loves ammo tins [:X]
TFTC and views.

CACHERS BEWARE: There are so many broken beer bottles at GZ and I nearly trod on a used syringe on the way back up the slope (that I placed in the nearby bin). Maybe a change of location nearer to the picnic table on the other side of the road would be more "Cacher-friendly".
Had some fun with this one as I needed the excersize and I had to go back to the car a few times to check the cache details, first the size second time the hint then a stoopid third time for a stoopid pen.

Well we did enjoy those views ! The climb down and find wasn't much of a drama. Getting the thorns out of my shoes afterwards was fun as well !! Thanks "VJ" !!

My second Wellington DNF for the day.
'Interesting' spot here, and by interesting I mean full of rubbish and some incredibly nasty spikey things (prickly pear?) See attached photo.

Excellent lookout and views of Wellington. Scrambled down the bank ok and located the cache...coming up was a bit harder, thank goodness Roadie1 (hubby) had the brolly to extend a helping hand! Thanks "VJ". Took the TB, left a moneybag charm.
On a day drive from Mudgee to Wellington area to complete a couple of caches this 1 was on the list. This is a top spot to have a cache; major problem is people using cache area as their private garbage tip. Other than that thanks for the view & challenge. TFTC / TFTH / SL
Sorry about the late log but this cache went under the radar ! man i dont know how ?????
Great views from the gz area ! thanx for showing us , cheers

Found on an incredibly hot day with sunnycornerfarm after hiking a roundabout route from the nature walk
Couldn't find with old coordinants but on the second run with second coordinants it was a lovely easy find =D

Slid down the slope with Bronkco, Tentacles & KRangergirl. We held hands for stability. Watch out for the broken glass. Bronkco found it - new coordinates spot on. TFTC
Fun afternoon, the terrain added to the adventure. Never been here before, nice spot. TFTC.
[On a very wet day I came in search of the new caches on Mt Arthur. Having been up here walking a few times, I had a fair idea where this one would be.
On pulling up in the parking spot I sat and finished the coffee I got in town and enjoyed the views and the rain storms in the distance.
It was very slippery getting to the cache and back after all the rain but managed without too much slipping.
Left the TB's for the next finder but took the coin to move on.
TFTC and the *FTF*]
Be aware of the broken glass in the area of the cache.
