Found the mint tin and then went in search of the ammo tin. After a bit of searching I found the contents but no container. Signed the log anyway. tftc.
This one is in need of some extreme maintenance. The Ammo Tin has gone and the contents are spoiled.
Stuff is scattered everywhere and no box in sight but easy to find once the coordinates are found it was an easy find.
Second attempt after Geomum CAREFULLY read the instructions properly! Lol! TFTC!
First geocache find ever; fortunately others in our party had sharper eyes than me. Will have to get a set of swappables for the next one, still had the log book, pens, knick nacks and a couple of cards with names on them.
I found the cooridnates and found the cache opened and spread allover the bush. It seems that it has just happened today. It was strange as all the trinkets, logs etc were still all there but scattered. Put everything back together, logged the find and hope that it stays this way.
Out on the geo bike to find some caches this side of the lake.
Missed path to GZ and stopped below lookout and could see a couple of muggles on lookout so decided to try on way back.
Arrived back at GZ and the same muggle couple were sitting on lookout having a romantic picnic with a bottle of wine making gooey eyes at each other.[:x] Checked gps and my guess was they were sitting directly over cache. [:(!]
Gunna have to come back for this one.

Nice walk with the kids on a beautiful breezy day. Straight forward multi which was easy for the kids to find. Thanks for the cache Machman.
Find 3 of 19 today. Found waypoint 1 in only a few seconds, then made our way to GZ where we made a very quick find. Luckily it was in the direction that we were traveling, otherwise backtracking would have been needed. TFTC
Like 4goneagain last October, first checked obvious location under the platform with no success. Then turned attention to GZ in rocks below but gave up after triggering a rockfall. A hint would be helpful.
Such a great day oot! Fun find google gps isn't the best but good thing I geocache with smrt people TFTF
Easy find for the mint tin and the final ammobox. It's a great lookout. Found this on an early morning bike ride of the lake. TFTC The Machman
Found tin, and then found final ammo container - with geoson's friends at his Geocaching party. Only bummer was no-one had thought of bringing any swaps!
As we wandered along the track looking for info for another nearby multi, we quickly realised that we needn't have come this far for the answers that we needed [:o)]. This one appeared on the GPS, so we headed for WP1. While Janine and the kids enjoyed the views from above, i headed to where we'd both assumed that the mint tin would be hidden ... hopefully . Sure enough, after a minute or so of searching, it came to hand ... and we were soon on our way to the final
It wasn't long before we were near GZ, so master 3 and myself followed the faint geotrail to the treasure. He was most impressed finding another ammo tin ... they are his favourite for sure [^]. All is ok and dry with this one (of course) ... TFTC The Machman

This was my first and last but not only cache of the day. The waypoint was an easy find but the final was in the wrong direction. So I cleared up some of the other nearby caches first.
I was able to stand at the cache without being seen by the many muggles walking past at this late hour due to my caching camo.
The shadows are getting long and I'm tired so heading home. Tftc

Hmmm, was perplexed by this one. Seemed like it ought to be under the platform but clouds of midges and hundreds of beautiful Christmas spiders made it hard to look thoroughly. GZ had us in the rocks below but no eclipse tin to be found- only a frog!
Out for a morning on the Geo bikes. What lovely weather for it. Trying to knock of a few of the local caches on our list.
Collected this cache as we headed back to the car.

Found this morning during a caching bike ride around the lake and Joondalup. Thanks machman
After finding the coordinates a few weeks ago, finally got around to getting the final cache. A nice afternoon walk with the wee man.

Out and about with Amstradkid in the northern area of Joondalup to do a few caches close to the IGD event, as we did not have time on the day. We walked along the path to 1st WP, the biggest problem was finding the right path to get there. The 1st WP was soon found and plugged into GPS'r and off we went. The cache was soon found, one advantage of caching after a large event, caching trails... SL TFTC The Machman
Found after IGD event, enjoyable multi cache, thanks. Fun at the platform with muggles around.
Left Perth keyring and TB, on its way to China hopefully ....

Second cache after event. Did this series with another team that had come from the event aswell. They found the mint tin and I think they found the ammo tin before me and my team aswell without saying. Nice meeting cachers on the hunt.
Found with Kbinuk05, with The Time Team's help! Nice easy multi with little bush-bashing required!
Thanks Machman!
Thanks Machman!
Following in the footsteps of The Time Team, walked from nearby event with Meegs! to make a speedy find. Thanks for the cache The Machman; not often your as generous as this with your hides so I take a speedy find when I can!
Second cache after the IGD Event found with 1QSeeker, Mistraluna & McFonz who did a great job distracting muggle dog & owner while we retrieved 1QSeekers pen and cache Lots of fun and laughs. Thanks for the Cache Machman.
Had joined in with Mistraluna, 1QSeeker and Gypsy Roaming on the last cache and on our arrival at the first point we were confronted with 'one of those non caching people things' and her pooch.
No worries, how can we fail. We cant. One would have thought the next few things to happen had been practiced over and over again until it became second nature. We were a well oiled machine.
An 'accidental' drop of a pen over the edge of the platform by one of the ladies, followed by a rather obvious "Oops, looks like I have dropped my pen down there" saw me leap in to my part.
I was to run interference and made my way over to the dog (and lady) then engaged her in conversation about her miniature german shepherd. Turns out both the dog and I have something in common . No I wasn't rescued from the pound.
After the trio of searchers had located 'the pen' we made our way over to GZ for a quick find.
Thanks for the cache and the fun.

This cache was "Golden".
The scene;the platform with an unsuspecting lady trying to quietly read the paper, her faithful hound at
her feet....enter 4 caches on the hunt.
My caching companions , true professionals... no stage fright here...the inconspicuous drop
of the pen over the railing, the quick rally of companions to retrieve it and the dashing gentleman,
captivating the unsuspecting lady's attention by admiring the hound.
Such precision ,take a bow Gypsy Roaming, Mistraluna and MCFonz what a team!

Did the cacher's attend the Performing Arts Academy[?]
Mrs Felix is laying EGGS reading these logs!
Great job guys. Certainly good log reading and earns the cache a favourite from us.

Finally got this one today in the company of 1QSeeker, Gypsy Roaming and McFonz. Accolades to McFonz for the charm he exuded to distract a muggle and her dog who were sitting close to the waypoint. 1QSeeker managed to drop her pen over the edge of the ballustrading, and Gypsy Roaming and myself had to help her "retrieve" it whilst checking out some of the rock formations down below. Anybody would have thought we had it all planned. Great teamwork guys!!
After attending the 2012 IGD at Joondalup we had a pleasant walk to find this nice size cache.
Thanks The Machman.
Thanks The Machman.
The three of us searched furiously for the eclipse tin and came out empty handed .... yet another I will be back for a look. Lots of people around hard to not be spotted on a weekend
Second find with the CBNPC. Well done RM for narrowly beating the kids to ths one. TNLN SL TFTC.
Found with basically run!
Thats who you spell it.
Not like the previous log.
Cache is the simplist multi cache EVER!

Found the coords on the second look....Helps when you read the instructions!!
Still working on our current geo mission of filling in our caching calendar so a smilie had to be found today, by hook or by crook!
An unxexpected trip to the Chemist Warehouse at Joondalup saw us very near this cache which has been on the to do list for some time.
So today was it's day. Always enjoy visiting this area. No sign of any reptiles and hopefully no ticks!
Hmmm now we really are getting closer to only having unsolved puzzles in our 10km caching radius from home!!
Surely someone will take pity and put out some traditionals close to us?

Another long walk and have been there before - lovely view... got final coords and walk along to GZ, search for short and spotted the ammo... signed the log. Thanks The Machman.
We had completed two other caches nearby and completed this quick multi to be rewarded with a quicker find.
number 8 on bike ride round lake....remember doing the one here prior...thankfully this was an easier final...thanks again machman
Met fellow Geocachers while doing this one which proved useful in locating the hides. Expected there to be more stages so was surprised to see amo tin so early. TFTC Lovely day for a walk. Boys happy with their swaps. Left the car TB
Last one for the weekend. Batteries going flat. Thanks machman for all your hides.
Arrived at the waypoint but couldn't search for a while due to a wheelchair bound muggle at the lookout. Found the coordinates soon after they left and again walked up the track. Found the cache without problems.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
After riding from Belmont on the freeway bike ride I came down to the lake for an enjoyable picnic with the family. After lunch we went for an leisurely stroll to find this cache. T: Cards, TB & GC, L: Toy cars. TFTC.
Last time I was here I discovered the previous cache was indeed burnt in the fire nearby... so no luck with that one, but back today with can easy find on this one. Had to wait what felt like ages for some loves to leave the lookout.. TFTC
Even though I had found the original Team Layabout cache, it took me quite a while to find the mint tin at WP1, there was quite a lot of spiders hanging out under there. Anyway, got there eventually and made my way to GZ for a quick and easy find. I grabbed the GC and the pathtag that AusTrackers had left.
Thanks for the cache Machman!
Thanks for the cache Machman!
Took the dog for a not so early morning walk with the aim of finding this close-to-home cache. No problems with the waypoint (great view) or the final which we found at 0655hrs, Dropped Signal FTF GC and left one of our new pathtags. Thanks Machman
Whoo hoo, my first 2TF, but not without a lot of effort
After spending an hour without success on the first WPT, I moved onto another cache. I noticed my gps showing about 10m error, so I returned. I followed my instinct, not my gps and found WPT1 very quickly. Then off to the cache. Took butterfly cards, left a sheep and SL. TFTC.
A word of warning, beware of the slithering natives in the area, pic posted in image gallery.

"FTF" @ 1140hrs A quick find ,although the cache may be hidden from passersby the cacher is not!! I received some curious looks and half expected the police to descend upon me and question my motives.
