New this cache was here but did not know it had been archived. So have found it signed it and logging it .. Cache is still there just a bitt weathered looking
Thank god the kids are light lol. They enjoyed being the heroes on this one. tftc
Luckily Mr TT was able to retrieve the cache, as Mrs TT would have needed assistance!! Like these info boards with all the history of the area. TFTC
Found at 11:47 AM GAFF5 in the company of Phetlern. For a terrain of 1.5 I would never have looked up there. Should have taken a photo of the information about the green stone - very interesting.
Thanks Bitsprayer

Our ninth day on the road with the Pprass team, traveling north from Franz Joseph to Westport. We felt more than a little jaded about the Terrain rating after the effort it took us to go to retrieve the cache, but our name is now in the log.
NOTE TO CO: Perhaps a more realistic Terrain rating could be applied here please - it's certainly not a T1.5?
TNLN . . SL . . Thanks for the hunt Bitsprayer.

Oh No! Our holiday is drawing to a close. Day 18 and travelling from Hokitika to Greymouth today. Again no rain but a little overcast. Still nipping around in our little Corolla, Geo Hire Car with Flags flying - Getting noticed everywhere we go. lol....
Checked out of our accommodation and before leaving town decided to pick up a few local caches as we headed off.
Well this cache didn't make the list of caches on the highway but after being forced to deviate here for another cache we soon realised we might be able to make it a 2 for [:P
Or maybe not! Quite overcast but boy did we give it a good go with Tarzan in action and all but no smilie for us. [:(!]

In the area while traveling up the West Coast. Found this sign to be very informative. Did take a while for us to locate cache
Thanks for the hunt Bitsprayer

Yes, we did find the board useful for an earthcache. And honours shared here. Mrs spotted the cache.. Sobad had the required attribute for the retrieve... Mrs did the paperwork ... Sobad did the return. Thanks.
Found by the Mr while out in his log truck. Time for a break to stretch the legs. TFTC.
Now how on earth do you expect shorties like us to be able to retrieve that! Oh I know, stand on the car. LOL
Quickly signed and we were off. TFTC

Seems like it takes team efforts to spot this.....lucky the worker quickly spotted and retrieved, then bum extracted and signed the log. Now that is geocache fun, and interesting to boot. Cheers.
That was more of a challenge than the difficulty and terrain ratings suggest! But not too much of a challenge for my hawk-eyed other half luckily...TFTC.
Oops we were driving away after gathering the EC answer when I realised we had missed this one. Mrs KE thought the hide was a bit unfair - she had no chance of beating me to it. I of course thought it was plenty fair. TFTC
Stretch0's eagle eyes and tall stature obtained us this cache but my small fingers and small writing were my contribution - good hide and very informative info board signed log thanks for the cache
As we pulled into GZ our minds started to sort out where and what we would hide and on our first check of the site nothing was turned up so a more detailed search was done and BINGO my stature paid of with the find TFTC
On our chase for Pounamu we also stopped here and first couldn´t find it then read the logs and had an easy find. My opinion: Nanos should always be named in the listing, its a completely different searching. TFTC!
This cache took me a while It should be labeled a nano cache. After feeling for it everywhere I had to resort to a ladder before I spotted it.(2.2 meters off the ground) I then had to get a probe to retrieve it
I can see why previous cachers failed to find it. TFTC as I enjoyed the info on the board.

6110 Didn’t realised there was a cache here yesterday. Was retrieving Jade when a motorist drove past... gave us a double take, easy grab TFTC
With the rain returned, Mrs B was the only one wanting to go out into the rain. But it turned out she would never have found it after Mr B took pity on her TFTC
The river was very high, muddy and wild today. Found some help with a nearby earthcache whilst here too. Good hide. SL. TFTC.
Too tricky for me, But I see others have been looking recently.
Cheers and thanks,
S.t.

This one proved a little tricky - as we didn't manage to spot the cache as quickly as we hoped to.
