Adding my name to the list of DNFs for this one. I suspect the cache was lost when the nearby fence was constructed. Looks like the hiding spot was demolished to make way for said fence
The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. I'm temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary. There's still nothing to find-no container and no log. I think this one needs to be archived to prevent people wasting a trip.
There's nothing to find-no container and no log. According to previous logs, there hasn't been anything substantial to find since July 2012. Can the CO please check this out and decide whether to relocate a new cache or archive the listing as appropriate? Cheers
Couldn't find this one with five of us looking around.
There is some trees cut up around a few stumps so not sure if it was there or we were in the wrong place.
The owner might need to take a look into this one.

No luck with this one today. There has been a tree down recently and some work done to clean up around GZ. The cache owners may like to go and check this one is still there.
Nice hot summer day ! And found what remains of this one, just the log book or what's left of it, I might come back for some TLC for this one
Found what remains of the log, Cache needs maintenance. Lovely view of the full moon and a storm off to the NW.
530. This was one of the finds out of 52 that I found with Cankid today. We went on about a 40 km bike ride around the Mulligans flat area, and most of the containers we found were quite abnormal.
Lol, didn't find the cache, but found the logbook and something that looked like half a pen. Rehid the logbook for future finders, but you night like to take a look at this and replace the container.
Thanks for the cache, growingupisoptional

#627 This was cache find number 20 for nemo and I. This cache requires serious maintainence.
Very happy we found this one (after unsuccessful previous cache). The cache needs a plastic sandwich bag to contain it as it is now weather affected.
First one for the day. Took a stroll through the reserve and got 30 metres away from gz to realise I was on the wrong side of the electric fence!! We were lucky to be close to a gate and we found the cache shortly after.
As mentioned by previous cachers, no container only a plastic bag. Needs maintenance!
TFTC!

As previously noted this cache needs some TLC!
However the co-odds are spot on for where it is. I did see a cardboard tube with some colored paper over it about 300m away. Part of the kalaidascope perhaps?

861. Found the zip lock bag, logs and a few other items laying on the ground out in the open. No sign of a container although I didnt really know what I was looking for. So after signing the log, I placed all the contents under a rock in the dead tree a few metres to the east and about a metre of the ground, hoping it will survive. Definitely needs looking at. TFTC.
Making our way allong the FLATs. Huffin and Puffin. Great day out caching with friends. Cache quickly caught your eye !..SL..TFTC
Out caching with Geojunkies, Baja15. 2geo kiddies intow, one attached to a bike in a bike the other In a trailer , !! Ou what a site . Kids loving it, especially finding treasure. TNSL. TFTC
grabbed while on a caching run in the area. enjoyed the cache container, especially the personal touch in the lens
out looking for the top half of Mulligans Flat with the Miss Caching in training. She found this one pretty quick smart. Definitely a new Cacher in the making.
Found and logged at 11:25, Spending the week caching in the ACT hopeing to pick up many more
Thanks growingupisoptional

Quick grab while hiking at Mulligan's Flat. What started off as a perfect overcast caching day, ended in downpours for the last hour and half of our bush walk. The earth was already so wet that the falling rain had nowhere to go - it was like caching in an enormous wading pool. 5km from the car, we had no other choice but to work our way back. Signed log: TNGD. TFTC!
You could almost call this a night cache with an appropriate surprise at the end. I certainly didn't expect that cache container
TFTC TNLN (log book is full)

12th and final up in Amaroo and surrounding area. A very cool container to finish the day, good way to use resources. A nice walk to GZ, signed the log, then back to the car. On the way back we spotted mtbikeroz and madbikeroz riding along, so when we got back to the car, I yelled out to them, and they came over. We had a nice little chat, then they were off to Bruce's 500. TNLN. Thanks GUIO for another great container, and thank you to both bikeroz cachers for a great talk!
Veni, Vidi, Scripsi.
Interesting to see the Woodland Sanctuary here - I will have to come back and explore with the Trek!

Back to Mulligan's Flat for navigation training after almost a 24 month absence - new caches to find AND a new fence to deal with. Easy find, TFTC.
two of the cachers that i work with had been talking about mulligans flat
and how good the caching was there.
so as i was on leave and the dorrigo codgers (parents)were down we decided to go for a walk arround the reserve. just over 11ks walked and a good day had by all

Quick find @ 1605, and probably my last on this run - the clouds are rolling in and I've got clothes on the line. A nice solid container that should stand the test of time. TN, left pathtag in the lid, SL - TFTC

Another easy find as we headed back to the car. The logsheet of this one is pretty full (if I don't have it confused with one of the others ). Thanks GUIO.
Very nice cache! For anyone who was wondering about the fence, it's there to keep cats, foxes and other introduced species out of Mulligan's Flat. The aim for Mulligan's is to use it as a reserve to reintroduce species that used to exist in Canberra back into the environment
Whats the go with the large electric fence near GZ? are they trying to keep things in or out? is this part of a new detention centre? questions, questions. Enjoyed the walk out to the cache and thought the container was pretty cool. Many thanks growingupisoptional.
Found at 3.35pm GAFF5 in the company of Blackie_71, Browngang, Chewinprickles, and Robmc.
We tried to make the kaleidoscope work until we realised it was a pathtag in there. Tried to get it out to use it as a swap, but it was too well stuck in there
Thanks growingupisoptional.

A longish walk in the bush brought us out here and past a few other caches. The nearby fence is indeed live too.
Thanks
Thanks
This was the furthest we went into the Flats, partly because the caches have run out, but mostly because there is this huge fence here! Seem to be very keen on fences and large gates in the territory.
Interesting effect withthe cache container.
Thanks, Robmc.

Found on a day out with pprass, Blackie_71, Robmc and Chewinprickles. Cool home made Kaleidoscope. Great wander in the bush. TFTC.
10th find of the day with FurfacesLL and allrounder.

This took probably a little longer than it probably should, but it was really just a matter of expanding the search far enough.
Last one for the day and it's a pity we couldn't projects the pattern, it would be amazing I am sure! This one had the posse of Geokids stumped today so I finally got to make a find (not easy with 4 Geokids in tow).
They were also impressed with the fox, hare and kangaroo's we saw on this walk today thought, especially the roo's which didn't seem bother by us walking by only meters from them. Thanks for the cache GUIO.

#5 this one took me a while. Wasn't what I expected....not sure what I expected really but eventually found it. TFTC.
This was the first of ten finds for the day, along a 13km walk around the Flat. It was an easy enough find and we laughed at the contents - the Emong is still there and is very cute! Left it for cachers with kids. Hopefully there are no Bower Birds here or else this might be lost to the blue TFTC
Cool, another 'different' sort of container. It took a couple of minutes to isolate the find with the large amount of potential areas, still I found it w/o having to use the clue, so yaah.

Was trilled to find a wooden toy in this cache which I made and placed in a cache in Tumut region ages ago[ we make these and called them Emongs and hence our team name] loved the hide and the container Thanks again for the hide.
Thought we had wandered into 'Area 51" with the electric fence!!! But learnt something new and interesting about the area. Will have to come back for a further explore! TFTC.
Dusted off the Mountain bike and took it for a spin through Mulligan's Flat, and on the way find this cache. Great cache concept! TFTC.
Out on a cold and windy caching run with Norkmeister; first find of the day. Love the container; first one of these that I've seen. Pretty colours too.
One of 23 caches found with Doppelfrog on a loop of Mulligan's flat. This was one of only a few that we actually had to look for, but not for long. Saw the kaleidoscope straight away. Doppelfrog hadn't seen one of these used as a cache container before.
A quick find on our Mulligans Flat walk to clear up some long overdue caches. We thought we may have been on the wrong side of the fence but as luck would have it we weren't. Another interesting container.
Thanks for the cache GUIO

Found this one easily on a nice walk this afternoon. The drive out to the parking spot was more difficult due to road closures and detours. This area has changed significantly since we were out here last only a couple of months ago. TFTC
Wow there are a lot of spiders in this area right now. We ate lunch nearby and I looked down and found 2 nice sized redbacks, and a lizard trying to make them his lunch. TFTC!
What a fantastic day to be out and about, and better still to be out caching. Last one of several found with SecretSquirrel-BJC on our wander through Mulligan's Flat reserve. Dropped off TB
Another magnificent Autumn day to be out rambling about with Captain Tomato
Nice cache container

#269 Found 16:25...last one for the day!! Found and hidden......hadn't seen anyone else for the past 3.5hrs...walked off from the cache and got about 50mtrs, turned around for some reason and......where did they come from???? Two cachers.......must of been hiding somewhere??? Don't know who it was but "Hi!".
Thanks GUIO for the swag of caches out here, 13km round trip from the main gate and 18 caches for the day.

It true Stormcarchers style we started caching quite late in the day with the aim to do the full loop of Mulligans Flat caches. We headed to our first cache and surprise surprise there was another cacher walking off from GZ.... Hi right back HumphreyBBear . We discovered after reading the last log that he was just completing the loop as we were starting and we had the feeling we were going to have big walk ahead of us and lucky we had our torches and plenty of fresh batteries ready. We found the very cool looking cache container at 16:28 and headed off to the next cache on this really nice autumn day.
Second find of the day with sdcamn. A nice location, but I've never seen so many spiders. Was searching for the cache when my geodaughter tripped over it. Anither unique cache, very clever.TNLN. Thanks
Our last cache for the day! We weren't exactly sure of the coords and wandered around for a while. But Zita was very tiredly kicking things around a bit and spotted something that did not blend in at all!! A very cool container and pretty too. Its in good condition, TNLNSL TFTC
Last of the string of caches in the area today. That's a nice cache container, and we noticed the pathtag shedding light on things. TNLN, TFTC
A quick run out while the boy is at Joey's - a nice run in a familiar spot and some cool caches, yes the comments are a little repetitive, I wrote pages on other logs so sue me. I like this one, I get the whole kaleidoscope thing, I like it - yay toy story. I have waited way to long to come back out here, only a few left now, maybe it's time for a couple more - not sure yet. Keep up the good work GUIO and thanks for the cache.
Had me scratching my head for a short while until a little detective work with Magpieman had the cache in hand - sometimes two heads are better than one!

Yes I too must have trodden on this one a few times (First time around!).
Left this DNF to nab a few others in the area. Missed the turn-off back to the car later in the day, while walking along thought "haven't I been here before?" So took the opportunity to have a second look and presto! had the cache in a few minutes.
Nice one, thanks for the cache.

Well, if there is a cache near a fence-line, you can almost guarantee I'll pick the wrong side. Got half way down before I read the writing on the wall, errrr, fence and returned. The sun was just beginning to warm up so onwards and upwards.
3901. [font=Century Gothic][green]Obviously, being after midday now I was going delirious with the heat. It was after this find that I started to hallucinate that GUIO was an Eco-Warrior - taking useless household items and recycling them into caches.
Well it was very hot out.

Last stop for the day.
All down hill from here. Gravity will do all the work back to the car.
We found the cache 'cos a little bit of it was visible.
Just a little bit better covered now.
I was rushing the cache and forgot to enjoy the kaleidoscope aspect of the cache.

Found after the other nearby caches that are all quite clever hides. Perhaps Alan needed a torch (this will make sense when you find the cache). This was find 400 for me. It is appropriate that it was one hidden by growingupisoptional as I have found plenty of theirs recently. TFTC

Initially approached from the wrong side of the fence, but discovered a gate not too far away. TFTC
