I must have down loaded this a while ago because I wasn't aware it had been archived. Chasing up a few caches within striking distance from Movie World. Had me scratching my head for a while till I spotted the critter in it's lair. Not sure why it's been archived as all was well here. Thanks (I think) Pigwig2
I hitched a ride with the Old Hag down to Nerang today.
Another find to add to the list.

Came out to find this one after going to the Australian Outback Spectacular. Took me agers to find it in the dark as I had to keep turning my torch off because of people walking past and getting caught at the red light. Eventually after one last quick look I found it! Signed log and replaced. TFTC
Poor Bluey was just a shadow of his former self hopefully he wont 'buzz off' his perch & remain secure
Went with a cacher who had met Bluey before but it seems he and his perch are missing.
Found Bluey on the ground, the plastic bag that held the log bought my attention to it.
We have replaced it in an obvious place .May need checking by the CO

I had dropped my sister and niece at Movie World and was killing some time in the area. Smartphone decided that this was close enough.
I drove almost to GZ and had a read of my book then started to search. Had a few fights with the ants and nearly locked myself out of my sisters car.
Was about to give up when I found a nearby Munzee. Sat back in the car and waited for my stuborn streak. It wasn't long in coming and I started to search again. Only this time I looked from a different angle. Could it be? Surely not after all this time?
Yep this little sucker was mine. TFTC

Heading to Movieworld for the day, how could we resist our closest cache to the park.
After parking nearby and negiotiating the damp grass we soon had the cache hand.
Thanks

Nice quick find while visiting nearby movie world. The clues seemed more complex than the hide. SL thanks for the cache
Accurate coordinates led us quickly to the area of the hide. A quick search and the cache was located. We were pleased that the ants had moved out making our search much easier. The cache and contents were in good condition. TFTC Pigwig2.
No problems finding bluey today and the ants must have been on vacation. Thanks Pigwig2
First up this morning, and it didn't take us nearly as long as we were expecting. I can't help but wonder if there's a component missing? Not that I'm complaining about a quick find! We did wonder what the smaller, closed-off carpark that we walked across from Movie World used to be. A pair of magpies caroling in the morning made it a very pleasant walk, not to mention the perfect place to calibrate my compass. TFTC, Pigwig2. =^.^=
Found while on a weeks Theme Park adventure from Albany WA. Took time out from Movie World late in the day for an easy find. Cache did not appear to have a top and log very difficult to get back in container with bag.
Didn't have much trouble finding the cache but...... Had to explain myself to the security guard that was waiting around the corner. Apparently they have had some issues with people damaging the structure next to GZ. I explained what I was doing and he was fine. He said was going to go home setup a account and have a go himself. Also Bluey had become separated from the cache. Stuck him on top as I found him (even though I was tempted to squash him like QLD will do to his mates will be in a couple of days).
The joys of having never visited said theme park, but the nearby unfound Pigwig cache, I was ready for some of that action. Parked as close as I could and legged it down towards GZ with Xusia early this morning. I spotted the cache quickly but let them hunt for it themselves. We noted the very large spider near a munzee not far away so let that all alone. Soon the cache was found and pulled out to be signed. Had some issues getting the logbook back in, but I managed to coax it back in once more. Another nice Pigwig cache, TFTC
Found while on a short caching jaunt to the coast and back with Captain Terror. Another great container - I'm really seeing some different ones lately. Funny thing - while we were looking, I had a close encounter with one really big fat spider, and one little tiny nimble spider, then when we uncovered the cache itself, I thought "Bluey" was my third bug in 5 minutes he looked so real. TFTC.
I'm just slowly making my way south for a week-end out on the bike.
I should really have read the latest logs, no wonder I did not find it.

Well this was a close cache to look for after day at wet and wild. Wanting to find a cache on my birthday this one was going to be it. Searched the area well before I ended up locating the the rolled up log on the grass near what we believe was GZ. allrounder put the log back in where we believed it should have been however there was no container in sight.

Found @ 4:30pm with hccatcher11415
Technically we didn't find the cache but we did find the log lying on the ground.
We signed it and tucked it away but it definitely needs maintenance.
Thanks for giving us something to find after we aborted our Wet 'n' Wild visit early.

Why oh why, we were standing at GZ and had to do the pretend phone call as we waited for people to wander by. When you do this cache you will understand the irony of this. SL TFTC
My goodness this is a busy place!
So glad we arrived when we did! We’d have had trouble if we’d got here just a few minutes later. Easily found but then I had to extract splinter from Mr L&L’s finger [B)].

Pulled up just as the area surrounding GZ was opened up for car parking. (It was a super busy day around here, today). Strolled to the spot and with dozens of muggles driving and walking by, grabbed the cache, signed the log and returned it without a problem. The way the cars were arriving, we reckoned within another half hour, there would be nothing left of the lovely green grass around GZ.
Had tried to find this one before but it was gone. Knowing it was up and running again I had another look today. Sure enough a true Pigwig cache. I carefully wrapped the log and tried to hide the cache a little. Then I was off to look for another Pigwig hide along this road. I have heard people complain of other caching areas that there are "no tricky ones like Pigwig or Herbz". Aren't we lucky here on the Gold Coast?
Was expecting to find a gangly-legged, horse-riding, red-haired, hard-drinking guy. I guess he's in the show nearby and can't sit at GZ 24/7 hey! TFTC pigwig2
A quick find after the theme parks today, the log was very wet but was still able to sign it. TFTC
found by turps2 12.11.2011, at 1515 Hrs while showing friends about cacheing the monster critter didn't get fingers. thanks pigwig2.

Nice little find after a day at Wet & Wild water park.
Great location for a cache. Obvious from a distance, but then took a bit of searching to locate it.

Its extra 'creepy' doing this one at night . I was wondering where the name came from until I saw the Outback Spectacular - now it makes sense
Well, would you believe it? Four out of the six caches we found today are yours PigWig2! It's only now that I am going through and reading the logs etc that I have realised this. This was a first of its kind for us. We pulled off the road and walked the last bit and instinctively walked towards GZ. Thanks for a lovely set of caches PigWig2 - we had a great time finding them. Oh and the plovers are still a bit manic - keep kids close by - just in case.
Caught this one after enjoying a nearby attraction. The plovers voiced there annoyance at our intrusion but didn't mount a charge. Good cache! Enjoyed it. TFTC. Didn't have a writing stick on me unfortunately.
WARNING-Plover alert!!-not for geokids at the moment.
An easy find -if you don't mind being attacked by the plovers -early nesting??

Out caching with Mischievous Maverick (we got leave passes from the other halfs - yay!) Great fun TFTH
With a 'Leave Pass' from MrsMischievousMaverick and MrGreenGeckos on a trip to Cape York, MrsGG and I trundled off to the Gold Cast for the weekend to do a spot of Caching.
We'd been saying "Just one last one", "Just one more", for a while now but this one REALLY was the last which, it turned out was disappointing because we added up that we'd only got 49 for the weekend... and 50 would have been a much nicer number. We still did 23 - on initial counting - for the day.

Out for an early morning walk and a great chance to grab a few caches.

3814 + 169 = 3983. Visiting the Gold Coast with ACBC66 and AwesomeL for AL's birthday. Between Theme Parks we did a couple of caches..
Pretty close to Movie World - I had more fun doing these caches than in side the Park ! Walked around and found the nicely set up hide - and appropriate timing as well ! Thanks Pigwig2 !!
TNLN - TFTC !!

Found it on the way back from doing a few caches over the border. Did not attempt yesterday on the way down as roadworkers and machinery around the place. All quite on a Sunday.
Oops, got a bit close to the ants but it paid off with a find! The little miss cacher finds again!
Ah yes - the ants. Did not read that part did I and proceeded to lean against GZ. Not smart. Several bites later and much screeching and I was mostly ant free and by this stage, Pagan had well and truly found the cache. Don't think I've seen these containers in the Brisbane area before. Thanks Pigwig2
Lid missing, log has water damage, container very brittle. Great fun hide though, thanx
