Not really a DNF as the dog was giving to much attention. Hopefully I can come back when he's out.
Heading away for a bit of Orienteering at Nationals.
Grabbing a few caches along the way.

Finally, I day we can both agree on! Is 7/7/2021 7 July 2021 or July 7, 2021. We are both right.
The cache was hidden with lots of loose camo, but a little poking revealed the other camo device and the cache itself. TFTC.

Lots of humming today. I also liked the downpipe placement adjacent. Lots of ingenuity. Thanks for the cache bumandworker
My first find after lunch.
I am being taxi Mum for my son and daughter in law for the Heaphy Track and finding a few geocaches. I stayed in Motueka today and will drive over the hill tomorrow. Thanks bumandworker for creating this hide. It was find 9621 for me.

Cool recycling Staying in Brightwater for a few days and enjoying the lovely weather. Got on the bike to find a few caches in the area. TFTH
Someone was working in his garden when I came looking for this one, but the fence was a great shield - if only their dog wouldn't bark that loud. Not at first place I looked, but at second. Nice little cache, replaced where found near the feature. Now quickly back to the car
Tried approaching this from a side street but no access. So we parked at Rutherford Memorial and walked back to snag and tag this one. Cheers
Awesome! Its a fine day here and in Nelson, so Toby and I headed over the hill for some caching, shopping and the most important thing, the event hosted by the Birthday guys. Picked up Bullertrouts Bro and went exploring for a few hours. Great weather and great time. Cheers

Please note. You do not need to touch the feature, cache not on it. Should be close by at ground level.
Nice quick find, tho couldn't be secretive with neighbouring dogs giving me away. Tftc

A quick find down this little path after the event today. TFTC B&W.
International Geocaching Day today, and with a couple of events on in the top of the south I decided today will be a trip to Nelson, since it seeems I have not been there for yonks.
So a quick catch up with the Boomtown Massive over an eggs bene early doors at the local event, then a drive to Nelson. With an upcoming trip south, I decided I will target a few Nelson caches to fill in holes in the D/T and Hidden Month matrices. This will help clarify what I need to do down there. Sandwiched in between was the Nelson event of course; and a few lesser goals and plan Bs.
As it panned out, it was a reasonably successful day. Caught up with the ephemeral Capperz, who was flitting around the place also, but had managed to ditch the whanau at a mall for long enough to go for a drive up Aniseed Valley road and get a few. Then we went our own ways, and it was some cache maintenance and a drive toward Mapua to get a few just before there, before making the way slowly back down a less busy road. A 20+ day and good fun. Logs signed ricardinho, ric.nz or RP where space is limited. Thanks to all the COs.

With the last souvenir insight, SJT_NZ and I tackled a few caches before the weather watch kicked in. A quick find here and all in good order.
A quick find with Tregearp on a wet afternoon hunting numbers as the deadline for the Hidden Creatures challenge nears and we only needed a few more each.
A quick find. All in good order. Signed log and replaced as found.
Thanks B&W for yet another cache.

Out on a bike ride to Brightwater for an ice cream. After the ice cream a little ride arownd reveled a cache our two TFTC
Easy find to boost the numbers in a rather ordinary location. And quite peaceful this sunny Monday.
Note for "onedude" (25/1/15), these transformer boxes are not a danger. The metal box is not live. The box is there to protect you from the danger within. There may be some electro-magnetic fields, most of which will be absorbed by the steel box.

Made a quick detour and grab on the way back from Wakefield. Despite the 'to-be-expected' urban weekend hum, I was in and out without any bother.
Flying in the face of the advice of a previous finder I touched the green metal, and I am still here to tell the tale.
Thanks

Time for one more quick one before heading for home. And it was. Thanks for the smilie
A weekend trip to Nelson to attend the event then cache our way back to Blenheim via Brightwater, Wakefield and 88 Valley Road was hatched earlier in the week and with Pi Day kindly offering up not one, but two shiny souvenirs, it was agreed that we would head over the hill, again!
Saturday morning to the Event, sleep in the car Saturday night (for me, the Seagnoid would take his bivvy tent and sleeping bag) then a long and slow trip back to bag as many caches as possible. Somehow though, this was lost in communication and the Seagnoid kindly volunteered himself to be Joe le taxi on Saturday night so the whole thing was brought forward 24 hours. My G P S has packed a sad and won't work anymore so I was on borrowed equipment and hastily loaded a G S A K list of potential finds, and some solved puzzles, and off we set at about 5:30 from sunny Blenheim. Grabbed caches before it got too dark to keep going, and managed 6 by torch light which helps towards one of my missing M G S C attributes, yay, just the Events to go now to qualify. At last it's Pi day. Wake up after an uncomfortable and too warm, then warm enough, then too cold night.
On the road home, the long way round, via Brightwater, Wakefield and 88 Valley and St Arnaud.
A short walk here after parking near the Virtual, Traditional and Wherigo location
No problems with the find, replaced as found

[green] Suddenly I find this weekend is free, So capperz and I set off to the Pi Day event in Nelson. And to grab a few puzzles. Gotta get them souvenirs! And, since we are out there anyway, grab a few dozen caches along the way.
Spent Friday night in Grampions Reserve, got to the event, and now heading back to Blenheim via St Arnaud. main objectives out this way - a wherigo and a letterbox cache. But gotta get there first, and this cache was in the way. Easy find.

Not a fan of the cache location - it should probably be moved as it's in a potentially dangerous location (near electrical substation equipment). For future finders - you do not need to (and should not) touch anything metal, including the green painted metal. Otherwise, TFTC and greetings from England! Sorry for the moan!
6621. Out on a geocaching mission from Tahuna to Brightwater. This was cache number fifteen for the day. A quick find in a quiet area. Thanks for the cache. Rodney and Iris.
quick find with two of our grandchildren, had a trackable to place so thought this would be a good place to move it on quickly tftc
This was found with the aid of torchlight after deciding the best way to avoid muggles was to wait until there wasn't likely to be any, and it worked a treat! TFTC.
After a long hot day at the grindstone this cache was just what the doctor ordered. A muggle free, dark and quiet wander to GZ. No GPS needed, we travelled by sound. TFTC
Not an obvious walkway, but a very pleasant one. Gz seems to be a rubbish dump TFTC. http://www.geocaching.com/images/icons/icon_smile_cool.gif
Took a few minutes to find the way into this cache. Once there, quickly found. 5/20, quarter of the way.
Found while taking Geo grand-daughter out for a walk. This will be her second find (first was Glendale Tiny Tots at Christmas). TFTC
Since we were out this way we decided to find this one as well. Quick find by Miss 7. The kids had fun playing in the nearby underpass on the way back to the car. TFTC.
Cache find number 495 on today's mission to make my 500th cache find. Well supported by my better half we can do this! Nice easy find. TFTC
Been meaning to do this one for ages now! Finally got the opportunity. A super easy find, Thanks!!
Humming contentedly. Found cache with La Vista during a day out in the countryside. TFTC
Yes, was still humming with activity here this afternoon. A quiet walk to get here though.
