Time to archive this one as I am no longer at these premises and it appears that someone else has moved in
After chatting with the CO this morning I decided to do this cache on our way home this evening. We got here just after dark but were able to locate the cache quickly, thanks to good coordinates. Luckily I had The Walking Ladder with me to reach places I couldnt and had the well made cache in my hands. I understand why the cache may need to be archived soon. May therell be a new popping up soon in another clever location!
Cache # 11256 on 27 Apr 2024Decided to take advantage of the ANZAC day holiday and make a long weekend of it - added a road trip with Bobl27 to the mix and all is set for a fun few days. We are travelling from home in the ACT to Victoria via Cooma and then doing a relaxed loop to Melbourne picking up a few caches and counties along the way. And then straight up the Hume home! No tricky DTs or long walks this trip. This cache: heading into Melbourne today. This took a little head scratching but got there. Nicely set up! Thank you SteMicMitSar for the cache and the fun!
Found with the help of mr7! This one took us a minute! Thanks for a cool cache!
The area was very quiet today so l took my time to find this nicely hidden cache. I imagine it would be incredibly difficult mid week. Thanks SteMicMitSar for placing this cache here.. nicely done!
Not watched today, no one around Saturday morning. Paid a visit here after volunteering at Dandenong parkrun this morning. Great idea for hiding a cache, geohubby had to assist, signed the log!
Third time lucky. First time I drove past I realised how busy it was, and the chances of me going undetected wasnt going to happen, so I left.Came back yesterday and was wondering everywhere with no luck.Because Im attending a weekend course in the area, I needed to take the opportunity to find this while there was no muggles around. I read all the previous logs and came back this morning with an idea of where the cache may be. Bingo; problem being Im not the tallest of people. But got there in the end. TFTC and a favourite point from me.
Thanks for this cache - very cool spot
We met the master cache hider this morning - great bloke

Out for a drive, we found this very daring hide, and had to laugh. Thanks stemicmitsar.
After last night's disaster when everything that could go wrong with the cache did go wrong, I came back again today when the cache was "reset"
This time better prepared it went all good
Thanks stemicmitsar for the cache and understanding!

Last cache for the day. The previous cache was a DNF where I spent far too long searching and I was grumpy and had half a mind to head for home. So glad I decided to do one more. Finding this cache improved my mood enormously, it is such a clever hiding spot. Brilliant.
I’m lucky enough to travel for work and today finds me in Victoria. In between commitments, I find myself with time to kill so I stopped by here for a find.
Many thanks to SteMicMitSar for placing and maintaining You Maybe, Being Watched. I found it, I signed it, and put it back as found.

Unfortunately don't think we were watched on this one as we came to this one as the day got later. Haven't seen one like this of this size yet so a nice little fav point for us. Thanks for this cache!!
Just like everyone else, I fell for your little gag. Oh, the comedy master! LOL
This was my second or third visit to this spot. The cache had not been replaced properly, so it was a faster find than it may have been. As I was doing the deed, some muggles turned up and parked just opposite! Eventually, their buddies arrived, and they disappeared into the opposite building. Thanks for the enjoyable hide!

I noticed that it had looked like someone had a go at getting this one but got it stuck so I have rectified this problem so it shouldn't happen again and also added a new logbook.
It was an evening of Mega business out east with some of the committee. A very productive evening which also included us sneaking a quick find here.
We were being watched…. Very closely.
Thanks SteMicMitSar for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to find.

Actually inside the CO‘s lair on Mega business with RoamingHowie and Oz Hockey Chick! In between runs we ducked out and found the nicely constructed hide with spot on coordinates.
Lovely!

Well put and about today with PrezDough and Robert740 grabbing a few caches.
We all fell for the red herring. So attention was soon turned to spreading the search wider.
5c piece soon dragged my attention to something and sure enough the cheeky hide was soon revealed.
Very creative container and certainly a well hidden one.
I can imagine that the red herring here would keep some sanity during a work day.
Fortunately a Saturday doesn’t lend itself to many observers here.
We soon had our monikers in the log and off we went.
The cache, container and log are in excellent condition.
I visited 3 TB.

Found with CJDenno and Robert740. We came over to Dandenong today because we haven’t found many geocaches over here. We arrived at GZ and we all fell for the sneaky decoy. After realising that the decoy was fake, we looked at some other nearby things that could possibly be the cache. The container was very well crafted.

Found today with ThaKraken. Thankfully it hadn’t been attached properly previously and it was obvious to us. Back on properly now

Wohoo!!! So after a DNF here over 2 years ago I finally decided today was a good day to come and check on this again and see if I can find it now! As soon as I got there I had a feeling of deja vu and yet again I got 0 metres in one spot so it just has to be here... and then finally I see what I missed last time and there it is!! Finally found it! So happy to finally turn this frown upside down I stamped the log then replaced it back into its sneaky little home! TFTC!!
Out on my own today on my way to down to look after my granddaughter. Great day to do this one as there’s no one around due to Covid restrictions. Once it opens next week it will be very busy here. Glad I had my stand on aboard to retrieve this cache. Nice easy to get off excellent hide thanks for the cache. It would have to land on the over side. Excellent hide, thanks for the cache SteMicMitSar
After doing some caching with my friend for a bit while my son was at a party near by, my friend went on her way having already found this one. After walking up and down the fence line for a while I found my gps jumping around a little. It was getting late and the light was quickly fading. I was on the right track, but a quick paf pointed me to the exact spot.
A very very clever hide. Thank you for the clever cache.

Very quiet around here today so it was an easy find - would be much harder on a work day.
I needed a find for today. The unfound caches are getting further and further out from my home. I have planned many times to come out this way but never found the time and knowing how busy it would get here during the week, today was the perfect day to come being Good Friday and everything was shut.
A quick find was made here. Lucky for me there was absolutely no one around to watch me here. The cache and log is in good condition.
Thank you for the cache here SteMicMitSar

Definitely still there, had a car pull up as I was about to find. But nonetheless was about to carefully grab the cache as the third place I looked. Awesome geocache and so cleverly created ) favourite point for the effort gone into this creation and for the hidden in plain sight addition, so cool thanks for the cache
A rather early wake up this morning to where you would think I would not be watched. As at 5am in the morning on a weekend you would not expect eyes to be on you. Nevertheless I was wrong and I like many others was indeed being watched.... Either way, this was the start of a great weekend out to the Celebration Event on Mt Buffalo.
Thanks for the quick cache.
Thanks for the quick cache.
On a caching run around the Dandenong/Keysborough/Noble Park area and found this cache along the way.
Nothing seemed to appear overly obvious with this cache - the fenceline and surrounding foliage was checked to no avail and our hopes were dimming.
Fortunately, something else was investigated that ended up being a fairly large rendition of a hiding style I was familiar with.
Very well executed, signed the log and placed everything back where it belonged.
Thanks to SteMicMitSar for the cache!

A Saturday morning and no muggles in sight or eyes looking from the window.. Scanned the area and then it has to be here moment. Sure enough it was there. Log signed and the very neat cache returned as found.
Thanks stemicmitsar for putting this one out there.

Passing through the area and found your cache along the way. Today there were no muggles about enabling Mrs "T" to make a quick find.
Cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Taking my daughter on a road trip and we decided to visit this cache. We had a little help from a very helpful source. Hot day so thankful that we had help. Great cache.
Last time I came here but it was too many muggles during business hours so I never thought to come here again at night with my torch. Good one. Thanks stemicmitsar for placing this cache
This one had us stumped for a moment. First time we didn't try hard enough. Doing it at this time of night is perfect! Tftc!

Being Boxing day and a public holiday, we were confident that we were not going to be watched. A nice hide and a nice container.

Found it late at night and I’m pretty sure some people in a car close by were suspicious of us.
You feel like there are many eyes on you. I'm hoping they're all watching the cup instead
Quiet spring Saturday morning our 2nd cache on the way home from Dandy market.
Looked at all the most obvious spots but no luck We were just about to leave and gave one more try to what I thought had to be the right location and with a pop it was revealed. SL TFTC

This one took me a little while. The area was deserted was I had the luxury of wandering around a bit without suspicion.
In the end I decided to test something near another possible spot I'd tried, and bingo!

I had the afternoon to myself today and I leapt at the chance to grab as many caches in the Greater Dandenong area as I could. What a beautiful day to be out and about! A fairly quick find here - only so many places it could be! Hope I looked good on camera! TFTC
Havnt seen this type of cache before, glad the geoboyfriend was with me today, he was quick to find it. Found with TroyfindZ TFTC
Out and about with Happy Pants putting some smiles on the map.
Found after a few minutes of searching in all the obvious locations.
Cheers for the cache.

Found this one with omegaman1971 this afternoon while grabbing a few caches in the area. The gz was deserted? today we think and we set about about searching for this one, it was om that got a hand to it and we happily added our name to the log book. Thanks stemicitsar for the clever little hide.
Checked this one out, cache is certainly still there.
I have now cleaned it up a bit to make it a lot easier to remove.
I have now cleaned it up a bit to make it a lot easier to remove.
There’s really not many places to hide a cache that’s big enough for swaps and we looked in every place possible around GZ but despite it being nice and quiet on a weekend and having plenty of time to look we just had absolutely no luck whatsoever. Definitely hard to think where else it could be but we just had to give up if we wanted to find anymore caches today!
Out with the geokids tonight for a few caches in the Dandenong area. I have been meaning to do this one after visiting furniture stores nearby recently but lacked the time. Luckily it's late otherwise with young geokids we'd stick out like the proverbial monkey's red a**. Also I have researched this a bit to minimise the time we're here. We had only a couple of locations that I had hypothesized so we targeted them quickly and the first one came to fruition. Took the cache back to the car to sign the log while young geokid went through the swappables. He traded his stamp for the little green dinosaur. Went back to replace the cache while the geokids waited in the car.
Very well thought out cache. I quite liked it. Without the pre-research would've taken too long.

I don't think I was being watched as it was pretty quiet here this morning. A clever hiding method I have seen a few times. Off to work now.
I don’t like being watched so came by with the geohusband for our first cache hunt for 2019. Very quiet around here today! Found quickly in the most likely spot. TFTC

Ive finally got here on a lovely Sunday midday no one around until I'm about to get out of the car when someone pulls up in the driveway. First thought another cacher. Waited 5 mins for him to get off phone then gave up and left. Came back 30mins later and he's cleaning his car inside the gate. With help I was able to make a quick find as he had his back turned. I did have to explain myself which seemed fine. Hope I didn't ruin the hide. Thanks kindly
Last time I came I felt rather self conscious and the GPS seemed to want me to walk back and forth across the drive so I didn't stay long.
The second visit the GPS was telling me it was in the middle of the road...….well I knew it wasn't there. So I left.
This time the gps took me somewhere logical where it could be hidden. Nope not there. Widen the search with the same theory and soon had the cache in hand. Log signed and returned.
