Cesta mi zabrala pes 8 hodin vetn zastvek u keek, na vyhldkch, toalet a nkup kvy a coly a dvou kratch prochzek a jedn men off road zajky pro starou keku. Hopefully I can do it. It wasn't as hot as yesterday, so I drove 540 km to Coober Pedy quite easily. Along the way, I stopped at a few caches and some of them really amused me like Permanent Hell i Population ... flies .... 2.000.000. Thats true ! Thanks for all caches I visited and greetings from Czech republic.
Together with Travelser I'm going Down Under. We are driving around with a motorhome. Started on the 17th September in Cairns. Our plan is driving.along the eastcoast down. Then in the south on to Adelaide and from there ending the 31th October in Alice Springs.During our trip we of course search for several caches. Most of them brought us to very nice spots, like this one.All the CO's, and in this case Liz and Bruce, thanks for bringing us here and give our trip a special accent.
On my roundtrip along Australia with Oopie we are douing always some caches.Today we ware on the way from Adelaide to Alice Springs and we did a few nice caches.CO thanks for bringing us on this nice place and make this cache.
Found by The Empire + HThe journey from Port Augusta to Coober Pedy was an adventure like no other. As we left the coastal town behind, we ventured deep into the heart of the Australian outback. The landscape unfolded before us, a vast canvas of red earth and desert scenery. The rich, rusty-red soil seemed to stretch endlessly in all directions. It was a stark contrast to the lush greenery we had left behind, and it felt like we were driving on another planet. Occasional low-lying vegetation and solitary gum trees punctuated the horizon, offering a brief respite from the barren terrain.Quick wander out to grab this one. Thanks for the cache Liz and Bruce.- M
We're heading north and decided to stop here for the view. We were concerned out muggle interference but found that when we got to GZ, we were below the horizon and out of sight. All good.

A trip to Perth checking out some of the awesome places along the way in ACT, NSW, Qld and NT. Grabbing some old caches and missing LGAs. TFTC.
Wow. Every inch of this land looks like a possible cache hide. Took a bit to find the obvious icon. Nice hide. Great spot.

What an amazing view especially with the recent rains. The water around the island is probably only an inch or so deep but it makes for an amazing view.
The rocks to GZ were a bit strange looking

Together with my favorite geocacher Milonguera we traveled to Australia We went to Melbourne via Singapore and from there we explore the south, the center and the east coast.
We walked around Melbourne and had a nice meet & greet event. Than we visited Philip Island with the pinguins and the Great Ocean Road. We fed and petted kangaroos We drove to Adelaide, visited the koalas and continued north.
**Thanks for the cache!
Thanks for showing the location and for hiding the cache. You should come to Berlin in Germany to find a lot of interesting geocaches, visit lost places in the surrounding Brandenburg and meet nice people at many events.
I wish you a lot of fun and great adventures while searching for the next geocache!**
Thanks for the cache!

In our travels we stopped to grab this cache, what a wonderful spot for a cache and a photo or two, thanks for placing this cache
Find number 11033 at 11:06:10 am on Wednesday the 31 August 2022
Continuing our trip from Melbourne to Darwin and back, we are now on our way back home and traveling from Alice Springs to Port Augusta for a day or two’s R&R there. We grabbed a few caches on the road as we travelled by but sadly heading to a much cooler climate with each kilometer
The ground is very much like a stoney mulch, it’s a wonder anything grows here.
Quick find once I arrived at the GZ.
**Thanks for placing this cache Liz and Bruce**

We’re all going to Whittlesea to participate in Victoria’s next Mega!

Had to dismantle half a mountain to get to the cache. At least it felt like it. Very harsh country .

It isn't Micro, it was actually pretty decent sizing. As big as my palm (kinda big hands)
The three of us were heading north, and we stopped here for a break and a cache. Some spectacular views.
Teen Tardis and Mr Tardis went for the short walk, and found the cache in the first place we looked - don't you just love it when that happens?
Signed the log. Thanks for the cache Liz and Bruce.

Catching up on some late logs, now that I have time, while travelling.
We are on the road travelling up through cenral Australian and down the coast of WA. I hope to grab a few caches along the way.
Stopped off here to stretch the legs, so nice to wander into this hide. A nice view to be had also.
Thanks Liz and Bruce (maintenance by Gumby37) for placing this cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy finding it.

Up early to do a day trip to Woomera with iluvtrekking. Very gusty and chilly . While the men walked the 200 mts to gz, Mrs ILT and I observed the continual flow of caravans heading north. Greetings from SA Liz and Bruce
Sir_spectre and I went on a long overdue holiday to the Northern Territory. We had some great experiences and saw some amazing natural wonders. Not all went to plan - covid closures, flood effected roads, renovations, hot weather, some car troubles and not forgetting the huge jump in fuel costs
Any caches that needed repairs were fixed and numeous logs were replaced or added too.
Thanks to Liz and Bruce from mogni

the cache has grown and now is a small cliplock container. nice views from gz. quick find.
Mogni and myself went to the Northern Territory for a 10 day holiday. We drove 5478 km's in those 10 days. The plan was to go up the Sturt highway and then go via Ayers Rock, King's Canyon and then through to Alice Springs stopping at the gorges/chasm/gaps along the way. As you can expect nothing goes to plan. Day 1 Adelaide to Cooper Pedy, made it just before the Roxby Downs turn off and blow the side wall on the tire of the 4x4, 193 km detour just to get a tire and even then it was the second tire place that had the tire the correct size. We had camels come in to the campsite in Erldunda Roadhouse, they even left hoof prints 1/2 a foot from the tent, at King's Canyon we had dingo's come through the camp ground both nights we where there and at Alice springs we had a mouse move in under the tent in their campground. Some of the aboriginal towns we passed where in lock down because of covid 19 so no going in to get fuel there, that changed some plans. The floods where way worse up in Northern Territory than i realized. Some creeks/rivers i could see the debris over 2 meters from the river bed and down one 4x4 track it washed the road away completely, the hole was 3/4 the length of the 4x4 and over 6 foot deep. The temp was 33 to 36 for 9 of the 10 days and finally cooled down for the drive home. We got 7 different caches types in the N.T. plus every different cache size. It was a good trip but not the one we planned. To many of the roads in the N.T. where damaged and not repaired ( still closed ) so that cancelled plan A but that's just a excuse to come back isn't it. Come back and see what you missed last time when the roads are fixed. We came with 19 regular " geocaching size " containers and a milk crate of small containers by day 7 all the regulars where used as replaced caches and by day 8 the smalls where gone. It was the UV rays a lot more than the floods that killed the caches and almost all the log books where saved, the micro containers seemed to have constantly full log sheets so they where replaced too.

After traipsing around Western Queensland for 4 1/2 weeks then having to head to Northern Territory to try and get back home that way due to border closures.
I had one of my many permits that I applied for over the course of the last week and I made the NT, SA at 6am and headed straight to Woomera after doing about 830kms.
Settled in at the caravan park had a few beers and some tea.
Got up early hooked up the van and spent the early morning finding all of the caches in Woomera then to continue my journey south towards Quorn which is my next stop.
I nice spot to pullover and have some lunch, take in the views then a nice stroll to the cache.
The wind is still blowing around here and there is nothing better then towing a caravan into a 40km head wind, I’m just watching the fuel gauge go down.
A great cache guardian was soon spotted and I added my name to the log.
Thanks Liz and Bruce & Gumby 37 TFTC.

We pulled into the roadside stop to admire the salty view. I trooped across the saltbush to the cache, which was being guarded by a big lizard of times gone by. Cute.
Full time nomads since 2013. Still tootling around the country trying to avoid Covid hotspots.
Back in SA for harvest work. Heading to Port Pirie but 4 days ahead of schedule so a quick detour to Whyalla was in order.
Stopped here after the roadworks with the caravan on tow. cache in good order, nice cache and good to take a break.

This could have been a very time consuming search, but Liz and Bruce have cut us some slack. I loved the walk to this one, great views too. A highlight of the day.
We found it! The view is not so bad and we loved the cache in the middle of no where we leave a favorite point because everything is there for a great cache, originality, very quiet and calm place and beautiful landscape TFTC
First find on my Darwin campervan reeducation l relocation trip.
I was sure I'd done a cache here before, but Mutant have logged it. Anyway, if it was this one, it was on the way to the mega in 2017
Logged as found today anyway.

Returning from a few days in Roxby we stopped here and I made a nice find and sign while Di made the lunch.
I thought "How can I find it among all of these stones" but the little helper did the trick.
All in good condition.

Three weeks on the road for a family holiday to Alice Springs, Ayers Rock and Kings Canyon amongst other cool destinations had us traveling all over the place. We had a great time and the weather was extremely hot with bushfires that actually prevented us from going to some destinations.
We stopped here after a long stretch on the road. It was great to stretch the legs and go for a walk to find the cache.
Cache found and log signed.
Thanks for the hide.

After two weeks in isolation, and easing of a statewide lockdown, I had the opportunity to drive from Adelaide to Olympic dam. The timeframe was tight but I managed to squeeze in a few caches along the way.
Fresh morning stroll with an amazing view. Reggie being a dinosaur in the pic. Hahaha
We made a quick stop & stroll to get this one on our way to Coober Pedy, still fresh to the outback. Thankfully the GPS worked well as we honestly didn't know what we were heading towards, each of us pointing out random features and saying "it's probably there!" (especially geoniece, that's her favourite tactic lol). I actually spotted this one and got embarrassingly excited at what was on the rock, such a cool idea, and I write this log sitting in my dinosaur PJ pants back home. Definitely a favourite.
