The team headed south by car for a few target caches as the weather was too lousy for a long hike and/or mountain cycle.Quick find on our way home. TFTC ALL7.
A fun day caching with the dream team. This cache was a straightforward find at GZ.Thanks, ALL7!

Day 6 of Courtneyrose_ and I’s trip from Adelaide to Sydney, today we headed from Cooma to Batemans Bay via Bega. After caching around Cooma in the morning before our event it was Was interesting to go from country highlands to the coast after being inland for the whole trip.
Thanks for the cache

Day #1 [14-2] of 5 for my trip away. Today, I headed down to my overnight pit stop in Cooma before heading into Merimbula tomorrow. Yes of course, I am going to Geocache the whole way there and back apart from visiting the beach. The caches I found today were mostly quick and easy finds with a couple of DNF’s or NA’s due to factors like: road quality, unable to find them or I was starting to run out of time to get to Cooma. The focus for the finds were caches that fitted into one (or more) of the following categories: For a self-imposed challenge, historic cache (pre-2010), a quick park and grab along the way or part of the Kelly Road Powertrail. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to finish this trail due to the road conditions but I did manage the start couple plus the last one of it. TB visit on all found caches. I would like to thank all CO’s of the caches I found today for allowing them to bring me and the caching community enjoyment. TFTC’s
P.S. Sorry, about the generic logs. I will endeavour to edit them at some point in the future for the extended story. This is when I have more time on my hands.

A nice easy find on our way through Cooma, we didn’t have much time so we picked the right cache! TFTC
VCL and I are on our way to Canberra and stopped briefly in Cooma on the way. Love the high country around here. TFTC
Day 8 of our road trip to Whittlesea via Canberra and today we head to Bega and stopping for caches and ALs along the way. Many thanks to all the COs for placing and maintaining the caches for our enjoyment.
Driving Dino down to Cooma for a sports event. Trying to fit in as much caching time as possible. Adverse weather made it a bit less fun though.
A nice cache location here!
Thank you All7 for the fun!

When I saw that TeamJLBL had been unabled to locate this cache, I thought I was wasting my time. The guardians have been active making webs to hide the container but, realising that finding a geocache was more important than life itself, I poked with my finger, and found success. I replaced the plastic bag with a new one, and the log book is in good condition.
Thanks for the fun All7.

Nice quick find. It took all of two minutes to find.
We weren't deterred by the DNFs.

I was not confident the cache would be there due to all the DNFs. But as I casually sauntered around eating my pie looking like I was reading the sign as 100s of speeding muggles zoomed by I found it!
Down in Cooma for lunch meeting a friend. We thought we might pick up a few caches and explore around town. It was a lovely day for some short walks with the geodog. Thanks for placing and maintaining these caches!
Day out to Cooma for a drive to catch up on getting some cache, what a great hide log and placed back where it belong TFTC All7
Today is our second day of travel home to Gippsland after catching up with family in Nambucca Heads. We had a lovely time with our grandsons after the long drawn out time of restrictions. The last few days of rain made it a bit challenging trying to entertain 2 very lively young lads in a caravan park, but overall had a fantastic time.
Coming through Sydney was a breeze with the new Conex tunnel recently open. The hit on our Linkt account ($60) was even worth it! We have driven this road innumerable times over the years, but this time we had a bit of time up our sleeves, so we decided to grab caravan friendly caches as we travelled. The added bonus is that we finally managed to get a number of caches in the ACT, completing our national grid at long last. A cache in every state and every mainland territory.
The last time we traveled through Cooma and looked for this one it was MIA. Thankfully this time it was a straight forward find and we changed our face from a glum blue to smilie yellow

What a fabulous day today. Blue skies, sun, beautiful green rolling hills and successful caching experiences. It was so good to be able to set my own timetable and not worry about holding other people up. I love the social aspect of town caching but the solitude of rural caching is so calming.
Today’s trip from Canberra to Jindabyne, Bombala, Cooma and home again involved 18 caches – 8 GCAs and 10 GCs as well as covering two new dragon zones. Many thanks to all the COs, especially DSD who helped me out to ensure I didn’t have to record any DNFs, for placing and maintaining these caches adding to my enjoyable caching experience.

Sweet spot, may need new magnets to support it soon, I couldn't find the previous one to repair.
Previously a DNF but found quickly today! On way home after few days at the snow! TFTc
We teamed up with JozMoz for this one, took us a couple of minutes but once found it was a good cache!
Found on what will probably be my last trip to Cooma for many years. Times are a changing for me.
Out and about caching today from Canberra to Cooma. Weather wise not the best, dust storms and winds up to 90kph. However as I am from Brisbane on a trip down south, caching must go on. Found cache and signed log. TFTC
Easy little park and grab. The cache is in good condition, signed and replaced. TFTC
Day 4 of KmanNZ's VIC,NSW,ACT roadtrip of 2019.
Today had me on the old tourist road between Bathurst and Cooma.
A lot of smoke in the air from the fires over the hills. Met a caching couple in Taralga and found 41 caches.
Find #41
Last cache for the day.
A quick find here.
Thanks

I’m visiting the area from Perth. Took a little bit of time but eventually got the log signed. Thanks for the cache. I think this is cache #2000.
Headed down to Merimbula on a mission with fitzy_1965, death_killer & my_name_jeff_1. That mission was to pick up Stardust2410 and take her to Canberra.
As a bit of a 'let's stretch our legs', we stopped here for a bonus cache. Managed to grab this one inbetween traffic. Thanks ALL7....glad to pick up one of your older caches.

Hunting caches after the Clearwater Mega event 2019. Quick find today whit heading for the Snowys. TFTC ALL7
Found on 22 Apr 2019 at 6:38 am.
It was finally time to attend an interstate Mega event and this was my final day here got up bright and early to do a couple of hill climbs and bush walks and river walks to find a couple I ran out of time on a couple of years ago when we were last here. I also wanted to find a couple of old ones to help qualify for a challenge I collected yesterday.
Finally the Mega trip was and an early start directly south from Canberra to change the scenery up a bit was on the cards. I marked a random cache every 100km or so to break up the drive. Gladly I was just outrunning the storms so no rain at any of the stops and no DNF's either.
Thanks All7 for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

Found while driving with Bunadoorian to Mallacoota from Canberra. Find 6 of 22 for us today but I can't claim 2 just yet. We have driven through fog and low cloud today. Nice spot to stop and stretch the legs. Tricky little cache. TFTC All7
Returning from Canberra back to Melbourne but going the long way around to complete some pages in the Victorian Country UBD Callenge. Grub62 and I thought a few extra chaches along the way would be nice. We saw this cache was on the way and stopped to stretch our legs. This cache turned out to be a bit more of a challenge that we thought it would be as the container was well camouflaged. TFTC.
Found with nissan 65 on a few day away caching. Decided on Tumut and Cooma before heading home to the Shoalhaven and back to work. Thanku for the cache.
Found with cullum68 on a few days away caching in Tumut and Cooma. Thanks for the cache
Second day of my holiday just driving around cooma grabbing random cache's, found quickly signed & replaced. Tftc
Heading down to Jindabyne for a SES Rescue Comp, grabbed a few PnGs along the way to break up the journey. Technically smaller than listed size but in the first place I looked.
The SES has seen many firsts for me (places I’ve never been) even if this was a drive through on our way to rescue comp at Jindabyne. Planned park and grabs to break up the drive and this was another smile for us to claim.

Searched all around where my GPSr indicated with no luck , expanded the search area and found the cache 10 - 12m away

Stopped by with Trodectus on our way to Victoria. Parked nearby and walked to GZ and started searching. No luck, so widening search area based on previous logs. Soon had cache in had with GPS reading 12 meters from GZ. Log signed and returned. TFTC
Found with Coybear2000. We knew we'd be driving past, so we planned to stop and try for this one. Once at GZ we started searching. We had read a few previous logs and we felt we were in the wrong place, so we widened the search area and soon spotted the hide. The cache needs a new container as the current log won't fit in it and both are in a couple of plastic bags. TFTC.
I’m Covered. And I mean COVERED in sap. In my dreads. Up my arms. In my fingers. Down my pants. All over my phone. Not my fav experience. But nice to have the smiley and to be able to mark off another county. Found with K8tybee on the tail end of our love heart tour - after a lovely weekend with OAC at Wombeyan Caves.
On the home stretch now. Our drive for counties has gone from Canberra to Brindabellas back to Canberra, onto Wombeyan Caves via goulburn, then across to Nowra via Canberra again before heading to Moruya, Tilba, Bermagui and Cooma back to Canberra... on a hot day, we were thankful for the stop. TFTC.

My First of a 9 day caching road-trip holiday I headed further South than usual, with the goal of finding as many caches as possible (and a few select ones for my stats). I'm just glad the temperature hasn't reached the highs yet.
Lots of dead whildlife scattered along the country roads, with the worst right near gz, I had to make the log duties as quick as possible to avoid the stench.
I found a total of 104 today.
Thanks for the caches.

After trying to find this one a few years ago, we have succeeded! Forgot to a bring pen though...
At the end of a day driving from Kiama to Cooma, this was a nice little break. Searched as furtively as possible but l noticed the passing Highway patrol glance across at us, but 2 old fools don't warrant a second glance, so we were left to eventually find this one. Thanks
Last find of the day whilst on the way to Cooma. Took a little while to spot this one as it was tucked away so well. Eventually with a bit of reaching it was then spotted. TFTC.
