Didn't read the logs until after I had found and signed the log, anyway TFTC radnoski
Well what an effort to log this. Found this on a recent trip to the GC when visiting a friend. Went to log it and couldn't find it on the maps! Luckily google still had the GC number so voila TFTC
It sounds like the local youth, homeless people and muggles appreciate this spot next to the canal.... but not so much the greater geocaching community.
Given the recent comments about the homeless people, possible drug paraphernalia and unsightly graffiti near the GZ, I am archiving this cache.
(Also the water appears to flow straight through the hiding spot on the way to the canal, constantly drenching the cache)
Cheers.

Sad place this, signs of homeless person /people living under the bridge next to what is nothing more than vandalism. It certainly is not in any way shape or form ... ART! Cache found after looking around, but have faith in your GPS as you approach the area. Co-ordinates are accurate. Cache found, was wet inside but log only damp. SL TFTC. cloudglider
Wife went shopping while i found Cache.
Had a great day because Collingwood beat Suns

After not being able to stay asleep we decided to start our day of caching at dawn so there was no escaping the shops as they weren't open. It also meant we had no muggles to contend with but a torch would have been handy. The clue helped in the end. TFTC
As she couldn't sleep, DisSister and I headed out before daybreak and located this one, intact and with a dry log book despite the cache having water in it. Drained it out and returned it to its hidey hole. TFTC
Left the wife and kids in the shops and ducked out to find this one. I'm putting it down as a find, as I found the contents, although it appears to have been muggled. I followed the fresh footprints to GZ and I saw where I presume it would have been, but the strewn pen and other items that usually appear in a cache told me why no container was to be found. It would be worth a check by the owner. Maybe someone saw the previous finder who was here earlier today.
Greetings from WA Found yet another cache without the trackable in it TFTC and the hunt goes on.
Had to walk past initially, because children climbing in tree. But, wasn't too long before they moved on, and we went back to search.
Out for another afternoon caching with my dad - this was the first of 8 - nice and easy start
Today we found our way to this one. There was water in the container which we emptied out. We took the trackable from this one and place it in "that song by Led Zepplin" unfortunately I wrote the trackable number down incorrectly and was unable to log it to myself and then transfer to the new cache. TFTC
Container had water in it but log ok in snap lock bag. Seal of container may need to looked at.
I checked out the cache tonight and the cache is OK.
No sign of needles near the GZ but best to attempt the cache during the day if concerned.

Gave up after 30mins. Too dangerous. Risk of used needles in area. Found several of them. This area is a common haunt for junkies and homeless. Be careful!!
The GPS was all over the place, had to get back to the shops where she was shopping. [B)]
Interest insight into the youth of today. Well hidden cache. Would not want to visit after dark. Trackable found.
Well I needed a reason to escape the 22nd of March. What an awful day Thankfully my last job was an after hours affair in the nearby shopping centre so I decided to tackle this one.
Under the cover of darkness, I slinked into the area. Upon entering I realised I had left my torch in the car. Good effort that. With my regular GPSr suffering a fall at a previous cache, it was over to the backup "HTC phone". It did quite well. The cache was found after a small hunt - and its backlight was good enough to find the beast. The cache was in good condition. I picked up the trackable in the cache. TFTC radnoski

#700. A nice way to bring up 700 finds with my first Aussie cache. A nice secluded spot and a quick find. Thanks for the cache (and the sun). I had dropped a trackable in the cache, but it has since been moved on by fangsoki. SL, TFTC. +kiwiana, +tb.
Dropped wife and kids at the shopping centre, and walked around Broadbeach finding caches. This was the first, close to the shops, and relatively easy to find once I found the way in. Thanks for the cache.
Nice spot, fortunately we didn't see any of those weird colourful spiders today although Mr Herbz was a little disappointed! Took longer to find a place to park than it did to find the cache. Interesting urban art adorning structures both man made & natural near GZ. TFTC Radnoski.
Did a nearby cache and on seeing this was only a couple of hundred meters further decided to check it out as well. Took me longer than necessary because I wasn't thorough enough the first time I looked in the (as it turned out) right spot.

Fairly quick find as area not so busy today. Out for a stroll this morning, will hit the shops another day. Figured tide would erase geotrail. TFTC
Nicely hidden - quite a tricky one really, I nearly missed it. however found it nice and safe and dry. SL TFTC
What a quiet little spot - but we were avoiding shops today as they looked a bit crazy with it being "Australia Day".
Cache was a bit wet, tipped out water - but log was dry and safe.
Thanks Radnoski for the hide.

Last find of our Australian holiday... Was the best place we could find for the geocoin which likes to be by water... TFTC
I was not escaping the shops today thankfully. Thanks for the cache, it was a pleasant walk along the bank to GZ.
Found after getting frustrated with GPS at an earlier cache, the guard spider was unexpected but soon scurried away! Nice place by the water and is definitely an escape from the hustle of that busy shopping center.
Picked up with a few friends. Nice little spot. Spider was guarding the cache but ran away when we got close. TFTC SL
left my sheet with all the hints and information on it in the car so was relying all on the gps and still, we didn't find them
Found today caching with Gunnie69....
Only shop we have seen today was for food or caffiene..
As we approached GZ Gunnie soon had cache in hand for signing...
Found a few irridecent bugs crawing around the trees

Thanks radnoski for the cache

Kaisho53 and I really didn't need an excuse to escape the shops, we never made it to them today. There were caches to be had...
Approach to GZ highlighted a point of interest and I headed in. Turned out I was a little off the mark but found the cache in the first place I looked anyway...
Kaisho53 spotted some really cool colourful bugs on the branches of the nearby tree.
Cheers radnoski.

last of the caches found on our Aussie trip. Took a junior player to track this down in the early morning light. Cheers
Nice new log to write on, thank you.
Had a laugh at your no trolleys logo.
There were at least three endeavouring to reach the park.

I have replaced the wet log book. Maybe a new zip lock bag was required. I will bring one next time.
A nice hide, just managed to sign the damp log book which will perhaps just need 20 mins in the sun sometime. A muggle was fishing the other side of the bridge but had moved a little upstream by the time I'd filled in the log. She still hadn't seen me and I gave her quite a shock when I perhaps seemed to appear from no where. Took a GC and dropped off another.
Cheeky cache.
Needs maintaince though. Weather has caused water to get into container. Log book water logged. Sealed as best we could.

#205 @15:15 I did go shopping today so I just had to do this cache too! Not easy to move around on a bike or on foot in this country (I'm Dutch) but did figure it out. Nice little quiet spot, not a muggle in sight. Did put on my hat just in case anything dropped from above. You never know. TFTC.
tftc your coords were spot on nice area met a family of ducks who greeted us as we got to gz thanks for the hide in this part of qld.
It was harder to get a carpark today than what it was to locate the cache
A couple of fisherman on their boat moved away from the area just as we arrrived to locate the cache

Found in the rain this morning. Found co-ords very precise. Got back to the car and realised I had the pen from the cache in my pocket. Another trip back in the rain to drop it off. May have been a day out when I signed the log. had it in may head it was the 4th Dec today when it was the 5th.
thanks for the cache.
thanks for the cache.
Nicely hidden, good clue. Check out the warehouse nearby it is creepy but cool. TFTC
FTF today at 2:25pm. I was out to lunch with my second eldest daughter for her birthday and we were just settling the bill when my geohubby phoned to let me know this was published. My eldest daughter agreed to take the birthday girl back to her car so I came down in search of the cache. Cut through the shopping centre only to find there were no parks. Had to park in a business and walk. Realized I was at the wrong elevation and had some more walking to do. Once near gz I had a fair idea where to look and was thrilled to find a clean log book. Thank you Radnoski for the new cache. I found the co-ords pretty spot on. Got to within 3 metres and headed directly to where the gps was pointing and there it was.
