With weather forecast to be a nice warm day, jesswrigley and I decided to head down Goolwa for a few adventures. After completing parkrun in a new location and a nice breakfast, we decided to experience taking the jeep on the sand along the beach towards the Murray Mouth. It sure turned out to be busy, but pretty fun. We stopped off for a few geocaches along the way, before heading back, and then visiting Hindmarsh Island. I hadn't been here for 20 years, with coming to Narnu Farm back in my school days as part of a camp. We managed to clear that island of its current geocaches, and then the final part of the day was heading around to Clayton Bay and Point Sturt to see more of Lake Alexandrina and its picturesque settings.
Despite this one being archived back in 08/2017, it still seemed like the cache was left in situ given it also had a subsequent find, so with jesswrigley and I being in Clayton Bay, we decided to come past and have a look. This one was a pretty difficult search area, as it was dense with leaf litter and various small shrubbery. It was also hard to confirm one way or another whether this cache had disappeared since the coordinates were mentioned to be a little out. Anyway, after 10 min of searching, it was no longer worth searching for an archived cache. Thanks anyway The Turner Gang.

Turns out this one was archived long before we got there! It's still there, just somewhat crunkled.
Clever name for an interesting container ... but container has degraded in the weather, and needs replacing.

The last of the loop, a nice easy find. Perhaps this container has been shaken once too often, it is damaged and will not be waterproof. Found during an afternoon around the area where the original inhabitants were the Ngarrindjeri people.
Satellites today had our GZ 8m SW of where we found the cache.
Our thanks to The Turner Gang for bringing us here.

Based on preceeding logs, perhaps it's about time the CO checked on this one!
Also, no room left for seekers to comply with the GS requirement to sign the log in order to claim the find! Needs to be disabled until issues resolved.

wonderful sunny Saturday afternoon and a great spot to stop for a bite too eat and a nice easy cache. TFTC
Took a while but we eventually found it. Log full. Container might need attention. Thanks for hiding
Found after having a win at footy against Langhorne Creek. It took 5 hours to get back to Victor. Found many caches on the way home.

Staying at the caravan park for a few days and doing some caching. Some found and some DNF but still enjoying the experience. TFTC
Start of a new day, having been around Murray Bridge the last couple of days, and now on our way to Victor Harbour with a diversion to Clayton.
Parked above and walked across the wet grassy slope where McPahn found it quickly before the next shower blew in.
Thanks The Turner Gang for the cache.

[center]8235. [green] Had a nice walk down the well grassed slope to retrieve the expected container. Nice area this and glad we detoured on our way to VH.

Ahhh finally Kevin Rudd was useful. Guessed the meaning of the hint right away thanks for him.
Was a nice quiet area so didn't have any troubles finding, signing or returning it.

Ride the Tiger was with us today and guessed the container straight up, amazing. The co ordinates were really good today, so this was really a nice quick find. Retrieved it, signed it, tucked it away safely, walked away, oh darn I stole the pen, jogged back put the pen back and then caught up with my buddies ( who didn't offer to pop it back for me).
Thanks The Turner Gang another nice hide. TFTC

Oh, now we get it! We're surprised this one doesn't come in for a bit of muggle attention although it is a bit further off the "tourist track" so perhaps that's why it's still all ok. TFTC
Greetings! catching up on logs. Found with Setsujoku
Thanks to the owner for the cache, and the opportunity to see more of another country.

Found whilst on a weekend away for our 2nd wedding anniversary. Some caches in between some wine sampling!

Found by Mary & David at 1325. David still uses that expression on occasion, and we're not talking about ketchup either. Great lake views, and old man ibis was poking his long beak in everywhere as a flock of little New Holland Honeyeaters socialised among the blossoms. Found the container quickly and had a good laugh at the time. Our thanks to The Turner Gang.
We are staying in this area for a few days and enjoying discovering some of the treasures of the Fleurieu

Didn't have this one on our run sheet, but Mrs DISK said there was still one closeby, so off we went, just following the arrow .
No-one about, so a quick find was made. TNLNSL.
Thanks for a bonus cache, which also cleared out Clayton Bay for us [^].
Thanks to The Turner Gang for showing us around this little settlement .

Found on a run with Grumpi68. A quick find for Mrs Niftybridge while I was still scanning the general area - she often does that. TFTC.
It was a magnificent day worthy of a caching trip, but with Mrs M helping a family friend for the day it was up to Mr M to join CPwanderer and brisal5 for a caching trip to Victor Harbor. It was a very enjoyable day in which brisal5 achieved his 3000 milestone.
Nice location. The muggle in the opposite house had been watching us and approached us a little bit aggressively about why people kept going into the tree. He didn't seem like the type that would understand, so we managed to fob him off with a story about taking photos of the boats. He seemed to accept that. TFTC Turners.

When I got the call that a caching trip to Victor was been planned I quickly booked a seat. So with CP and Mr. M from Aussie M&M we set out in the general direction...southish
Quick find but the muggle across the road was a bit too nosy. We let Mr. M do the talking. Only a matter of time before he checks the tree out himself. I hope the cache stays safe. Thanks The Turner Gang.

After visiting family in Milang our journey continues with Earthlight doing caches around the Milang to Goolwa area, i was careful around this tree as i believe this is one of them that leave you quite itchy afterwards, didn't take any chances and avoided contact wit the leaves etc TFTC
Must admit we drove to the caches along here today.
Too windy to walk and hot when we started.
found with 3LG on a days caching along the penninsular.
Took trackables to visit.
A change is almost upon us weather wise and you can sense the rain approaching.

We decided on a walk and caching exercise today, whilst camped at the local caravan park. It is a cold and super windy day..at times its hard to walk against it!
The bonus is that there a few people around to hinder us.
An easy find, although Roadie1 did point out that the tree is an itchy tree. Apparently when they were kids the joke was to put the fibre from the seed cases down someones jumper and watch them scratch!
The co-ords are a bit off, but the hide is pretty obvious when you get in the vicinity.
Thanks The Turner Gang.

found it quickly but there was a big fat huntsman guarding it. My daughter nearly gave the game away with a big squeal. All good TFTC.
Found during a tour of Strathalbyn, Finniss, Clayton and Milang. Had to be surreptitious on account of a golfer practicing his swings nearby. Thanks for the cache Turner Gang!
A day out today wih Braveheart17 and a couple of electric sk8boards. Cruised around to all the caches in this area. Loved the tracks, the views and the brilliant hides {most of them!}. Cool little town and a nice cafe for lunch. Thanks for the adventures today. This cache was on the ground and when braveheart17 found it some time ago it was in the tree. It is now back in the tree.
fourth find today. Cool cache, another good container. Will be back soon to do the rest. Looking forward to them, they are very entertaining.

Fair suck of the sauce bottle Andrew! This one took us longer than all others in Clayton put together, but should have been the fastest find Doh! Got there in the end though

Day 2 of our SA meander heading north to Port Augusta leisurely picking up a few caches along the way and hopefully catching up with a few South Australian teams that always make us Mexicans feel welcome. We found ourselves a safe park and headed off to this one really enjoying the views around here. This is our first visit to this area and we are looking forward to getting the rest in this series. We're not really sure why we made this one so hard as it shouldn't have been but at least we can now say that our name is now in the log.
Thanks for the cache and for bringing us here.

Well this cache should have at least had the RED top painted as was too easy to spot and its a wonder it hasnt been muggled. If it was in the city it would have been but maybe Clayton folks are better behaved. TFTC
Our first attempt for the day, with many geo-kids and newbies in tow. Oh dear how embarrassing when we almost couldn't find it! Thank goodness for the sun being in the right place at the right time. Loved this one Turner Gang.
We were a bit stumped at first, since the coords led us to a field with no discernable cache location. Then we re-read the logs and widened our search.
I took an average waypoint at GZ if you want me to send you new coords.

We decided to the Clayton Bay walk before it got too hot.
This is first from the caravan park.
We spent about 10 minutes but gave up to continue the walk. It's only a short walk from the caravan park and I'm sure it will still be here when we come back.
