Quick find while caching in the area today, nice quite spot for a cache, all in good order. Thank you ALL7 for putting the cache out, maintaining it and contributing to this great hobby we have. Happy trails, Flintstone's
Find # 10981Nice quick find. We've travelled to Canberra for the Capital GeoBash Mega event this Easter long weekend. We have parked our van at Capital Country Holiday Park for the next few nights and are looking forward to catching up with our old caching friends and meeting new friends.TFTC ALL7 29 March 2024 16:16
We found your cache today 29 March 2024 2:27pm , while enjoying another day in our beautiful countryside. TFTC ALL7
Found after a short search and had to improve to extract the container as it sinks lower. Thanks for the cache ALL7
A short trip out into the Gunning area with GreyHams for a CC Event and a little local caching to fill the time we had. Managed a few caches in the Bywong area which were long overdue to visit, and even a little cache maintenance.
Thanks for your cache! Took a bit of a search then easily spotted.

On a short trip out to Sutton between dropping the geodaughter at work and picking her up. Aquilus1 & I managed a few out of the way caches on the way.

Out doing a maintenance run, so decided to use my time wisely and grab some caches. Parked in the reserve and walked back. All paths were muddy, bit I was able to jump over the least wet bit. Fat fingers made a bit of a job getting this out of its hidey hole, but finally got there. TFTC
Out and about today hiding caches in the area. Signed the cache dsd or darksidedan or AB or Adventure Boys to save space in the logbook. Thanks for the cache and the Adventure. Avenginga DNF fron Jan 2019.

Making the most of enjoying what's left of a short lived summer and rapidly diminishing daylight saving to make some finds. Many have been on my solved pile for some time and with prolonged work commitments due to COVID I've just not had the spare time to do much caching at all as I've been working such long hours.
Consequently nor have I been on my favourite eMTB for many weeks, or to my favourite Namadgi for lots of bushwalks over the summer months. So having to make do squeezing in some urban caching for a quick walk here and there, or even more conveniently drive by caching. Caching is caching right, and thank goodness it comes in so many forms to suit practically every occasion life throws at us.
Love this one, had me flummoxed for a bit as didn't expect it. Clever hide.
And so it goes, just happy to pick up caches such as this one. Thanks to ALL7 for putting out and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment!

Couldn't find it. From comments maybe it's in water. We'll try again when it's dryer.
We had a most enjoyable day of caching from our base at Bungendore. The weather just perfect and the scenery so green and beautiful. Yours was one of the caches we targetted and found. Thanks to mr_roo for arranging this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
Stopped and grabbed this one while driving around with my daughter clocking up learner driver hours. This one was a little tricky to extract from it's cubby hole. TFTC mr_roo.
I finally took the plunge and had a go at some more of these greenway caches. Appart from one local who got a bit over zealous with his neighbourhood watch antics, all the other finds were nice and straightforward. TFTC
With BomEm, on a Mtb/Hike caching run to Bungendore and Lake George.
Nice and easy find.

After 6 didn't not find and 1find in the middle. can you owner check this Cache. I reckon it a missing
No luck today, I was either standing on a road or standing in a giant puddle..... will be back after someone finds it
Found with Nissan65 on a few days off work caching. Headed up after work last night for an early start. Fingers crossed the wind dies off. Thanks for the cache
Oh yuk! A micro in the bush - wish it was Christmas! Anyhow, took me a couple of minutes but soon to hand. Huge flock of Yellow Tailed Black Cockatoos were making a hell of a racket - guess they don't see too many humans out here at this hour of the day.
A DNF 2 years ago but with the revised co-ordinates a quick find to-day. TFTC.
Caching our way home from the geomuster mega. We couldnt resist an extra night on the road and a chance to do more caching. Quite snaeky not where you would first look. Tftc
DRT and I headed out today for the CO and replaced the container at the newer coords **(S35° 12.071 E 149° 20.287 ).**

Log is saturated and needs replacement. Also the coords need updating **(S35° 12.071 E 149° 20.287 )** as noted by previous cachers.
Sunday 28 January - a warm muggy Summer's day in the low 30s with dark grey storm cloud rolling in from the horizon to threaten rain but sadly very little was to eventuate. Firstly found 7 from 7 caches in around Stirling/Rivett/Chapman/Fisher. Then moved on later into the afternoon to the Lake George area to find a further 15 from 15 caches - total 22.
Took a while searching the area at the provided coordinates but without much luck. Read the logs and fortunately found the updated coords for a quickish find. Also the log is soaked as the seal (rubber ring) is perished. TFTC mr_roo.

Went for a drive, ended up here. Not at posted coordinates, fortunately read previous logs before wasting time in the bushes. Needs CO attention. TNLNSL TFTC
Passing by on my way to a job in Wamboin, stopped to grab a quick cache. Wasn't really quick until I read previous logs and tried the alternative coordinates which were spot on. TFTC
Decided to flee goulburn for the day headed to the DFO (spend too much time and money there!!!).
With some rain looming nearby i only grabbed a few caches nearby my usual route in and out of canberra. Grabbed my last cache on the federal hwy just as the rain began to fall... lucky!
Thanks mr roo.

Looks like this cache has been replaced at a slightly different location by jusojara as indicated in a note below, the coords still need updating but I will add them to my log again so future finders don't have to scroll through to many logs to find them
I initially went to the old location and hunted around but once I had the correct coords in hand it was a quick find in the obvious spot.
Thanks mr_roo!

I came here with Decrypter to attempt (again) to find this cache. It was a DNF for us in September 2015.
Today, as then we followed the coordinates, which took us close to the sign. We spent some time there looking in gaps for a cache. Not finding it, we expanded our search. Finally, there was a "Found it" from Decrypter, about fifteen metres off GZ. My GPS found the coordinates to be S 35° 12.071 E 149° 20.287.
Pleased to change a to . TFTC mr_roo.
PS. There was a set of coordinates in the cache, which leads one to Page in Canberra. What is that about?

This was a no go. It was very dark as I approached it and with the combination of only a camera torch, wrong coordinates and night the cache was left undiscovered. The trail could be interesting in spring but I think I shall leave this one be.
After reading previous descriptions and getting the new coords it was a QEF. Here from Canada on holidays with HennyGeo in beautiful Australia . TFTC
Finally! After many DNFs and some help on this one I have finally found my nemesis...TFTC!
We were not close to GZ for awhileand so we thought this might be a DNF for us today. Reading a couple of recent logs helped us somewhat and we moved location by about 10 m or so. With a bit more searching we found what we were looking for.
Thanks mr roo. Another lovely green area in Bywong.

#4217 - 17:10; The time had arrived for another late afternoon caching run, so I decided to head over to Bywong and a stroll through some of the greenways to collect a few more of this series. Parked the geomobile beside the road and made my way towards GZ. I searched high and low, but to no avail. No hint, so I resorted to recent logs, where an updated seta of coords soon had me headed in the right direction. Perhaps the CO might do an update to assist future searchers? TFTC mr_roo
Out for a mornings caching with Cadda76, Dr FOD, and JuSoJaRa
JuSoJaRa had come with the cache maintenance kit and everything ready to go. Once we had confirmed the previous cache was gone, JSJR did some maintenance for the CO and then we were on our way

Headed out with DRT, Cadda76 and Dr FOD today and at the request of the CO I came and replaced this one as the original was no-where to be found. Updated Coords are S35 12.071 E149 20.287
Sadly it was a DNF for me, after reading the logs it seems that the geo has not been sighted for a long time, I noticed that there has been a lot of people looking but nobody has reported it.
Can this one get checked by the owner please...no finds since June 2015 and several DNFs. Thanks
We gave this quite a long search, but couldn't locate the cache. Our Garmins took us to the fence and a star picket. We searched there and then widened our search to such places as the posts with the signs. We searched stumps and other objects. We really did spend some time here. We still couldn't find it.
Well for the first time ever, I'm about ready to give up on this one! This is the 3rd DNF and several hours of searching, despite the owner pretty much giving me the answer, has turned up nothing. We've searched a large area in case the GPS is off, read every clue from all the previous finds...still nothing! This has become my nemesis!
#1011 2 of 13 today.
Another beautiful still winter's day. I decided to head out to Bungendore via Bywong/Wamboin. It took a bit of searching to locate this one. I tried quite a number of places before homing in on gz. All good in the end.
Thanks for the cache mr_roo

The sunny day was too good to waste, so I decided a countryside geomission was in order
This was a tricky one. Had me stumped until I moved something to come up with the hide. Nice one!
Thanks for the hide, mr_roo

After lunch nearby with friends, I found a few caches in the area. This one took a few minutes to spot. Only found when I looked more carefully in the spot where I first looked. Cunningly hidden. TFTC.

I am so far on logging all of my caches that I have to run a macro to catch up. I do apologies but thank you very much for your efforts to put out caches.
May the Caches be with you mr_roo!

Found today with daughter ProbablyBex after coming out to pick her up from a party. I wanted to do more of the series today but ran out of time and have too many things to do. I will be back with GrimRaider to pick up some more of these. Thanks again mr_roo I managed to keep out of the creek this time haha
Made the short detour to grab this one on our way back to the coast after a day of meetings (& caching) in Canberra. Took a while to find as we concentrated our search elsewhere first. Once I followed the GPS pointer, I had the cache quickly in hand. SL TFTC
Out and about with the geodaughter and a friend (RenRoc) who I've roped into caching - I think I can get her hooked! Why not give her a DNF on her first day of caching
We searched for this one for probably 45 minutes...I looked through the logs to get some hints, we widened the search by quite a bit (I only use my iPhone), we looked up and down, over and under, in and out...I got lots of mixed messages from the previous logs lol!
Oh well, we'll try this one again another day...thanks!

It's time for a few caches in my new car, with the freshly-shaved GeoSchnauzers. It's a really nice day, very warm and sunny. I decided on the Wamboin Greenways, having looked one of them up. Both the GeoSchnauzers and I are looking forward to some walks.
This one was a park and grab. I took the dogs for a walk around the park, just for fun. We found the cache after a while, great hide, mate!!! The log was full, so, knowing you're a long way away, I trimmed off a page of my notebook ad added it to the log. That gives it another fifty entries or so.
I'm giving it a favorite point for the hide.

I was in the mood to go for a drive today so I decided to head out to Bywong for some of the Greenways caches. I did a few of them however had some troubles locating the entrances for a couple others. Next time I go out, ill take the map provided in the multi to make things a little easier.
After doing Bywong, I went into Bungendore but had no luck there after a number of DNF's. So I changed plans and started heading back towards Queanbeyan where I picked up some more finds before returning home.
Off to the second one for the day. This one took a little while as I was avoiding the muggles nearby who were running their horses. Once I had a moment to have a good look, I soon had the cache in hand. The log on this one is full however and requires replacement.
Thanks for bringing me here mr roo
