### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED PLEASE** ###
----------
Hi there Smelly Boot,
It looks like this cache might need some attention, as one or more seekers have indicated there is an issue with the placement. The cache has been temporarily disabled, so as to remove it from search listings and discourage people from visiting this location until the issues/s with this cache can be addressed.
**You do need to respond in some way within 14 days, so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication scuttle this listing.**
#What should you do now:-#
You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-
- **Check On The Cache:-** Visit the cache and repair and/or replace or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the logs of praise to roll in.
- **Place A Write Note Log::-** Reviewers don't have a crystal ball, so without your note on the cache page explaining that the site works are on-going, or you have been in hospital, or the area is in flood, they can't tell what is going on with the cache.
So please just post a note to the page (within 14 days) and when a Reviewer next looks at the listing, all will be fine for a little bit longer.
**Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. If you have a long term unavailable cache (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 4 to 6 weeks, so as to keep everyone up to speed.**
- **Adopt/Archive:-** If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it,**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when a Reviewer next looks at the cache page, it is likely that they will, unfortunately, have to de-list (Archive) on the basis that it has been abandoned.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.
**JUST A TIP:-** Have you checked out the new Geocaching Dash Board designed to assist a Cache Owner in managing the caches they own? Have a read about it [**HERE.**](https://www.geocaching.com/blog/2020/07/welcome-to-the-cache-owner-dashboard/?newsletter=PM) You will find your very own dash board [**HERE**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/owner?utm_source=geocaching&utm_medium=blog&utm_campaign=COD)

Found it. It’s lovely out here - the scenery and countryside is beautiful. Unfortunately this container is fairly destroyed and the lid fell apart. The log is all stuck together but we signed the back of the note pad. TFTC and thanks for bringing us out this way!!
Our second find for the day and sadly again they cache needs replacing. It was full of water and we weren’t able to sign the book.
The lid to the container has been broken, and a previous finder has left the container upside down in an attempt to keep it all dry. This hasn't worked, and it is obvious that a lot of water has got it. The log book has got very wet in the past, and has now dried to a solid lump of papier mache. It is impossible to separate pages in any way.
New container needed.

Found the cache quickly, but it's in bad condition and needs maintenance. Managed to sign the back of the log book.

This cache was not difficult to find and we were surprised to find that no one had visited it in over a year. The cache itself was in good condition. We will be adding it to the list of 'unloved' caches we have found. Thank you Smelly Boot for placing this cache and giving us a reason to travel some more back roads and enjoy some caching along the way.
We detoured out to this one before we turned back and continued heading towards Hill End.
Well that was a crazy place to be in the dark as the full moon rose through the trees.
Commenced my search thinking I knew what I was looking for. So wrong when I went a bit wider and made the find. Happy to cross another day off. Thanks for bringing me here, got a good look in the full moon light.

I took the detour out to find Belgravia
Sounds European !!
Would I need to speak a foreign language out here ? [:o)]
Turns out I didn't
I just had to turn over a lot of stuff once I found my way into the parking at GZ.
Oh!! The fallen tree has been cleared and the olde road is a drive through again [^]
Meanwhile back at GZ, the cache was not being cooperative
I turned over this and that for a while.
But one obvious spot that I had turned over when I first arrived, finally turned up the cache after a goodly 20 minutes of turning
Aaaahrrrgh !!
TFTC and fun and games in olde Belgravia

A fairly quick find. A tree has fallen across the old road but access is still ok. TFTC
Tricky little blighter but finally turned up the right thing. Thanks Smelly Boot for a nice afternoon out
Orange 11. Apparently this one was a bit too subtle for me. It took ages to notice the obvious. Oh well, only time. Thanks.

After pulling off on the old road we set off to find this one. After searching all the obvious spots it was time to check the less obvious and bingo there it was although we were half expecting to see a snake there (but that was just down the road on the way to the Kangaroobie Views cache) when we uncovered it.
Thanks for the cache.

This one had me stumped for a few minutes until the GPS finally settled and it put me right on top of it.
Then I read the hint...........LOL
Been a long time since I traveled this road. It was dirt all the way back then.
