As this cache has been out of action for too long and the cache owner has not responded or performed any maintenance, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to un-archive it.

Today hoped to find enough caches to reach 3300 finds. Falling short of goal today as we were beaten by the rain, dark and the number of repairs we have done.
This one has gone, needs repairing, found knot but no cache

Gap (of Fap and Gap) and I are a long way from home... We are pushing into Franklin District today and looking for caches to put towards some Geocaching Challenges... We also hope to reach some personal milestones too...
The day turned out to be more of a rescue mission. So many caches we visited required maintenance or total replacement. The state of some caches and the frequency in which maintenance was carried out by us was quite alarming. Luckily, we came prepared.
Sorry... This bullet has shot through. Found possible links to the former cache. We had nothing in our repair kit to fix this one, so left it as is.

stay at camp morley I decide to grab some finds before heading home.... I read the logs and the string of DNF and don't hold much hope for it but decide to look anyway ...when I got to GZ I became EXTREEMLY excited spotting something that I thought could easily be the cache (in a devious hide) I started saying to myself I LOVE IT WHEN THIS HAPPENS and I can log a FIND after a string of DNF's ...so I begin my attempt to 'unscrew' what I think is the cache....however my excitement quickly drops when I realise I have not made a find and thus I am also forced to log a DNF (that's 2x DNF from 3 search this afternoon not the best day for me!!)
Looked and looked, tried the obvious and not so obvious, no luck. 5 or 6 dnfs in a row on this one now, judging but the last couple of finds I think this might need a visit from the owner.
Found it but now is just a couple of sealed bags. Got caught by the owner of the knot (from the second floor of the house) who thought I was stealing his knot; I said I was not. Not sure if he was too happy.
Oops. Cache had no lid any more, and no sign of a lid anywhere. Log was sodden. Left it to dry in the sun while we grabbed other caches up the beach. Someone spotted what they thought must have been rubbish, and cleaned it up! Oh no! Have replaced it with a double bagged new log. Apologies for that. Won't be waterproof for ever but.
Log book soaked with all this rain. The lid seems to have gone missing. Novel hide for this container type, first time I've seen that.
As soon as we got down the hill, heard a muggle family approaching. Realised what we should be looking for and quickly nabbed it. Muggles headed down in the opposite direction so we had time to sign and replace, thanks
Cool Cache - neat hide
We decided to visit this area whilst on a the month holiday in NZ an we are so pleased that we did as we adored the area
Many thanks for the cache. We have signed the log as HJJ & BDI's Sir & Lady Harveyjj & B.D.I.s and dipped our trackables

Nice hide - well deserves a favourite point
Found today with Sir & Lady Harveyjj.
Please forgive the generic log as I'm logging as & when I have access to wifi so details of individual caches have become hazy, however that does in no way detract from the time and effort you as CO have put into your hide - that's very much appreciated.
We're in New Zealand on an extended holiday and have loved every minute of it.
We're very grateful to you for placing caches which have led us to some of the most beautiful places on the planet.
The logs have been signed either in our individual caching names or as T2 (being Sir & Lady Harveyjj plus B.D.I's)
Cache returned safely from whence it was found.
Thank you and greetings from the UK

Off on a mission to complete challenge cache 37 South.
8th of the day. I was actually here to come grab Pine for my challenge so this didn't contribute directly.... but there was a hightide so that plan was out! This cache was without lid so I hope it stays dry! Will probably need maintaining. A man from the property behind came out to kayak just when I wanted to replace the cache so I waited for him to set out. "Not going for a swim?" he said.

found but log and lid had gone mia, stuck a temp log in and jammed a stick in for a lid, TFTC.
Love the scrap of loto ticket log...mustn't have been the winning ticket. Out with SethRaven who placed a new nano log...lid still missing so makeshift stick bung left in..TFTC
A windy cold afternoon but at least it meant I had the beach to myself. Found the container OK it its neat little hidey hole but the log and lid are missing as noted by previous finders. Signed a scrap of paper and left it there but without a lid there probably wasn't a lot of point.
Thanks
Thanks
found the remains of the container, placed it back in spot and have sent note to CO. There is still something there just nothing to sign at the moment
Funnily enough a song called "Bullet Soul" came up on random on my iPod as I drove to this cache. Found after a little bit of searching. As others have mentioned the cache cap is missing.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Cache container and log are there, but the top is AWOL. May want to look at this. Cheers
Good area and hide.
Container top is nowhere to be seen - may need replacing.

Found orginally as part of phasevisitor team, now created own account, re-logging as yorkshirekiwi83.
We were down this way to spend the evening at Spookers and decided to come down a couple of hours early to pick up the caches around Clarks Beach first. A quick find of the nicely tucked away cache. Thanks for the cache!

Good find first time out with KABYBEAN they really needed our help to find the cache
nice little find on the beach! lovely day! also drunkkiwiguys first cache with us! TFTC
4.45pm. A very clever hide and hint. Unfortunately the lid on the cache container has separated from the container and it needs a bit of care closing. Log wet - so a maintenance visit could be worthwhile.

Had a lovely lunch at Chin Wag then on to here. First time the view has included the Sky Tower. Hope sun stays out. Very clever hide. Had us fooled a few times. NINO TFTC
Have come to Clarks Beach for a bit of caching in a different area today. This one took a wee while to uncover, but found in the end. Had to be creative to get near it with the tide full in and blowing a gale, so held onto the log tight. SL. TFTC.
Heading out for a late night FTF attempt on an island in the harbour near Awhitu, we took a detour to find a couple of caches in this area. After locating the quickest entry point, the cache was very quickly spotted before heading off for the next one. We could see here the tide was already quite far out, so time to start heading towards our goal for the evening. TFTC!!!
Out and about with FMZ and MM tonight for a Geocaching Madness Mission. Well, this wasn't really on our way, but we had some time to kill before low tide. Though it looks pretty low already...Anyway, super quick find. Cheers for the neat hide!
Awesome afternoon for a walk along the beach at low tide while searching for a few other caches. Nice sneaky cache TFTC
Enjoying the early morning walk along the beach finding a selection of caches. Thanks
Great little hide. We are sure we have parked outside the same house in the dark of the night on FTF hunts TFTC.
Went for a walk along the beach to do a couple of caches. Lovely day with no one about. Quick find. TFTC
While I think micros are overdone, they definitely have a place, and this is a fine example of when micros are right.
Started raining just as I got here.
This cache definitely needs some TLC.

Good hint, cache has no lid, log was dry, and resident spider was happy enough [8]
Cache 'lid' found to be missing, had to improvise with locally sourced materials but it won't be waterproof.
No problems with the find and another great cache to find along this coast line. TFTC

Thanks for the quick replacement since our last visit, took us nearly a year to come back here, nice spot, water was like a mill pond, no worries with tracking down the cache this time.

This is my second consecutive day in the Franklin area visiting caches.
I walked along the beach from another cache to this one. The tide goes out a long way here.
The logbook was a tad damp.
Cheers for the cache.

Tide was in a fair way today when I visited so I couldn't get to the tree view cache. I consoled myself by making my way to this one instead. Nice wee nano in a cool spot. TFTC, Biggles.
Got this one at last. Having found the new one this morning I could knot go home with out doing this one.
Excellent hide. Had me going for a while. TFTC SL and closed the open lid. Alls well with the cache.
