Today I headed out for a drive to a new town I hadn’t been to, and decided to grab a cache while I was here. While the ground was pretty boggy, the cache was in the most obvious spot, which made it a nice quick grab.

An unexpected public holiday was the reason for a long weekend in the area of Orange.
Today we decided to explore the wider area of Orange, and of course I had to pick up a few caches along the way.
This cache was quite visible, but I suspect there are not many muggles in this area. The logsheet was very wet, so a photo log instead.

On the way to Nyngan. Why you ask ? Well actually it does have a rather decent caravan park on the riverside ............ although its a bit worrying as the Bogan R is rising and making incursions into the park. Anyway I digress ! This cache looked nice and handy while travelling through and towing, so stopped for a quick log at this one. TFTC Smelly Boot
Driving to Orange from Burrendong Dam and stopped to pick up some caches on the way. This was a nice easy park and grab. TFTC
Camping at the Rec Reserve Stuart Town
Left Orange this morning & have set up camp, we then took a drive to visit.Burrendong Dam .
On the way home we stopped to cache around Mumbil.
After a lunch break we visited the few caches closer to our camp site
This was a good way to tour the area. A good variety of hides & caches found.
Thankyou Smelly Boot for placing this cache.

We drive past this everyday and had no idea. Great to find one in a familiar place
Easy find in a nice quiet town, watch out for the many muggles driving by. TFTC!
Sticky, not micro. Dampish, replaced log. Lovely cycle from Orange via Ophir Rd, a bit of uphill but rewarded with delighful down. Now to cruise back to Orange
As hard as we looked and searching the other comments we couldn’t find the cache however it has been a few months since it has been found
Found by Mary and David at 1540. Lovely autumn foliage to admire near here. Must have been some rain recently, as the log was a bit damp and mouldy, but we could still make our mark. Our thanks to Smelly Boot.
In the area with woolwood9 today. ????SL *tm/ww NZ*Thanks for the reason to stop.

After a mild start to the day, the temperatures were getting really high by the time we got here. So we were glad to make this one an instant find and get back to the A/C in the car.

The first cache of our weekend expedition. It was drizzling so a quick find was handy.
The cache was fully exposed and very vulnerable so we replaced it as we think the CO intended.
Thanks Smelly Boot.
Thanks Smelly Boot.
Took us a little while, we were focussing on the wrong spot! But we found it on a soggy Sunday
What a great place for a hide. I pulled it out an a spider was on it and didn't want to leave. Maybe it was a geo guardian. TFTC.
Found as part of an Orange and surrounds geomission with fitzy_1965, AngelG27 & Sol de Lune (signed as FASS to save time & space) Top weather, great company and lots of laughs meant for an epic weekend of caching all round!
A quick find by us in the fading light
Thanks for the hide, Smelly Boot

Fitzy_1965, SpecimenX, Sol de Lune and I (logged as "FASS") headed from Canberra to Orange and surrounds for a caching blitz over the 30-31 July weekend. We logged around 1000kms in the Geo-Jeep, selecting those caches that Fitzy had not previously found. I scored around 130 caches for the trip. The visit was characterised by blue skies, very green paddocks, lots of water off and on the road, a fair amount of mud, and good company! Still plenty of caches to collect and scenic spots to explore on a return trip. Thanks to my fellow travellers for a fun weekend, and the COs for all their efforts in putting out and maintaining the caches.
52nd for the day at 1740 (127 for the trip). a quick find by Team FASS - although I was torchless and not much use at this point in the evening! Thanks Smelly Boot

A weekend trip up through this area with SpecimenX, AngelG27 and fitzy_1965 to grab a few caches up around these parts. Covered a bit of ground and found a great range of caches. Always good to get away on a group caching run.
Thanks again Smelly Boot.

11314. Headed up to the Orange region with AngelG27, Sol de Lune and specimenX ("FASS") for a fun-filled weekend of caching. Lots of caches found, a few not found, and a lot of laughs had as we toured around over 2 full days as far north as Wellington which resulted in 124 finds for me.
Headed out early again today for a final big run of caches before heading home to Canberra. Next stop for the day on a loop up to Wellington and back. A quick find at GZ in the fading light. Log signed, cache returned and we were off to the next one.
Thanks again Smelly Boot !!

This cache was hiding in the obvious place and it was very quickly retrieved. The log was soon signed and all was put back in its proper place. Thank you Smelly Boot for placing a cache in an area where we have never before.
Tftc. Hard one to snatch during school finishing time. Found with geoparents.
What a great little town, not much here but very tidy, we liked our visit. Easy find.
Nice easy find with my GeoHubby and GeoDaughter. Plastic bag containing the log was ripped so we replaced it with a new one. TFTC

On our trip trough Australia with the hole family we looked also for some caches. They often showed us places we would never had discovered. Thanks a lot to the all the people who care about this lovely hobby .
On our way to my cousin who lives "far far away" .
Good to find. Didnt think here in the outback a cache would have been placed.

A nice quick find on my way home from a day working in the metropolis of Orange. TFTC Smelly Boot.
With another day to cross off but with it crazy at work I was so happy to hit GZ and make the find. These caches have been a great way to see some place new but have a small quiet time out.

Day 10 of 31in31 August challenge. Place a new log as the old was wet and falling apart.
Found it! I'm sure I've found on here before. It was completely wet and moldy so I couldn't sign it. I didn't have my kit with me so I couldn't fix it either. TFTC but this one needs some loving.

Thanks.

A nice quick find this afternoon.
Thought I could get across the wet area next to the car, and I did, but didn't realise the next area was wet too!! Came back the longer way and kept dry.
