bunadoorian and I came here and looked, and looked, and looked. I started reading some previous logs and then bunadoorian used his TOTT that he carries with him and then found it!!! Wow so clever. TFTC and for bringing us here for this cleverly hidden cache - Gonefishen07
Grub62 and I were struggling to find this cache until after Grub62 read a previous log. So with TOTT in hand and a bit of a guess a quick find was had. Very sneaky. Thanks for the entertainment and TFTC.
In the area for work but had some time for a few caches, after a short search, found the well-hidden little bigger.Cheers for the cache
Heading home after attending the Capital Geobash Mega in Canberra while passing by I made the appropriate detour for the search. A quick find was made. Thank you Gonefishen for placing and maintaining this cache.
TFTC SL - quickly found and happy I had the right tool on hand to completed the find I attend the picnic races here most events, such a great day out
Clever hide which thankfully we spotted quickly and had some equipment to help with extraction. What a great spot! Thanks for placing this here
My GC morning had not started well..so we could say I was in a bit of a Tizzzyyy probably in need of my second cuppa. Initially I was so on the wrong track for this cache totally overlooked the cache and was fixated on something else that was not white...hmm I sent out a panic msg to a PAF then an idea stuck me and I thought surely not ..i got some TOTT that to investigate and I still wasn't convinced but I had nothing else to try so I persisted until I came up Trump's. Wow - I'm impressed so fav from me. TFTF the confusion and the elation. Let's hope my caching day continues to be a good one.
What to do when you should be writing reports? Go geocaching
For me, reports are torture, just like writing creative geocaching logs.
Thank you for bringing me to this gorgeous spot today, despite the hideous weather – yep, that’s how much I don’t want to write reports. Nearly got blown off a couple of hills.
Found quickly but took longer to replace log ( I actually had to replace log as it was full)
Have only been here to the races once and it was a fabulous day

With the price of fuel dropping after the fuel excess was reduced, time to head down Bass - Woolamai way for a drive. Can't see fuel prices ever going down again, so no better time than today. Even if the weather wasn't the best, and the wind picked up with a drizzle while out caching.
This sneaky one took some time. Pleased the horses being loaded were far enough away.
Thanks for the cache Gone Fishen 07

Found with icw. As we walked to GZ several groups of road cyclists passed us -- training for a different finishing post. They were getting ready for the Woolamai Circuit road race, which is stage 1 of the Tour of Gippsland to be held over the next three days. Tftc.
Would have probably taken us ages but luckily we have found caches like this recently!
Amazing camouflage and definitely a favourite point!

Great clever hiding place!! Surprised I found it so quickly - it took me longer to extract it!! Tricky little thing. What a great cache. A favourite for me. Tftc
Whilst visiting in the area we found your cache. We had to wait a while as a mowing muggle was cleaning up the roadside.
A sneaky hide, but Mr "T" soon had the cache in hand. Cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks Gonefishen07 for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

On our way home again from PI - a weird little detour but hey that’s what geocaching is all about! Clever hide, had us scratching our heads, in between showers, but got there in the end. SL TFTC
My New Years resolution was to cache more so I was determined to get a few today as I only have 5 to beat for the past few years. Hubby Ceebee2013 and I rolled up here. CB having found the cache some time ago, but it has changed since she found it. I wandered around for a while as my phone wouldn't play the game for some reason. Eventually I spotted what I thought might be a likely cache spot, but I was not convinced it was right, as on initial probing, I couldn't find anything. A second better look and I had this one in hand, but the log was slightly damaged on the end and I struggled to unravel it. Log was signed and cache replaced. A great hide. TFTC gonefishen07
Spent an hour looking for it but alas it's a DNF. Had read all logs thoroughly but still no success. Live locally so will check again soon.
Couldn't find this one, but the day was getting long and I had a while to ride back so I could pick the kids up from school. I'll be back but in the car this time!!
Heading to the Island for a weekend break, we detoured on and off the main drag rather than taking the boring direct route. In doing so we came across many fine sights, properties and geocaches. I seem to remember passing this place a few years ago but at the time there was quite a bit of activity, so I gave it a miss. Today it was virtually deserted. I did say virtually. We pulled up and admired the area only to be greeted by some ladies and their horses who were locking up the place. so we drove up the road for a few minutes until they left. This gave us free reign to search. After almost giving up I spotted something different and on closer inspection I had found it. Getting to it was another issue though. With some ingenuity that even McGuiver would be proud of, I soon had the cache signed and returned to its hide. TNLNSL. TFTC. KKams
Having completed the Rail track on bike and with geodog riding from Anderson to Woolamai and back collecting all but one cache , I decided to go into the hills and find the three with views. On the road up we stopped by here to pick this one up as no horses around now. . Once compass settled down found relatively quickly. Got past the post and deserves the 10 heart fav status.
This one was a most satisfying find. It has been on my watch list for some time since our previous DNF.
Today we were confident and today we found it. Log signed and back safe again.
Thanks

Finding it a little hard to plan for which caches to target due to testing on the work site being dependent on others we found they have a problem which meant a caching window suddenly opened up.
A look around and something caught our eye. A little bit of work to extract it for a different type of cache container. TFTC.

Apologies for the late log. My family were away in New Zealand so I planned a few caching excursions and I’m still catching up on logs. This was a great day spent on bikes on the Bass Coast Rail Trail with liambaxter88. Rain was forecast so were really pleased to get through till just after lunch when we had to abandon and not before we had brought up Liam’s biggest ever caching day. I apologise for my logs being largely generic as I didn’t take notes on the day and have been slow to log. We started at this end and so headed to the racecourse first. Took us a fair while to find before getting a clue from a previous log and turning something up in a spot we had already passed over a couple of times. My 1st of 49 finds for the day. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache Gonefishen07.
This was probably one of our more slower finds but we got there eventually. Very nice hide, we hoped this was the start of many and we weren't disappointed.
This series was part of my biggest caching day so far! #1 out of #51! Thanks to AnnoyingTarbit for taking me down here and Gonefishen07 for the time put into the series. We somewhat managed to avoid most of the rain.

Continuing on our adventure after attending the Alexandra Mega Event, we found ourselves spending a few days on Phillip Island. While we tried to take advantage of the many great places to see on the island, we were pre-occupied with trying to complete the qualifying requirements for a particular challenge cache we had signed in Ballarat prior to the Surf Coast Mega Event last year. It really does pay to check the finer details of a challenge cache before you decide to look for it We had thought you needed to have found 100 caches in Victoria, but it was only when we came to log it that we realised the 100 caches in Victoria had to have been placed by the same cache owner
Anyway, initially we thought we would complete the challenge by doing the Mt Disappointment caches, but then friends who knew we were heading to Phillip Island told us we would easily qualify for the challenge there, and they would be much more interesting caches Well they were quite interesting, and some of them were downright sneaky
In the end, we had an enjoyable couple of days exploring Phillip Island and finding a variety of cache hides, with some great walks along some of the beaches and other places
Thank you Gonefishen07 for having placed the cache and maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

This took some finding!! our gps had us a little off where we should be... which meant that I ended up somewhere I probably should have been. You dont need to climb the fence!!
This one had us looking and looking with no success. While I was busy reading previous logs Boris said I think I've got it.
Needed a little persuasion to retrieve and with the log book pretty full I've replaced it with a new waterproof one. Hope the CO doesn't mind.
Thanks Gonefishen07 for the excellent hide and giving this a favorite point.

TFTC,
Quick find.
This is a part of our adventure trip that takes us to the National Riley Rally on Philip Island, Bush walking at the Grampians that we missed last trip because of fires, a 50th with a friend on the Murray River and the Red Center Experience GC6825Z before returning home with skibum1 from America via Broken Hill, Lightning Ridge, Killcoy and Armidale.
Visited a group of trackables that will be left at the Alice Springs Event .

Races were on today so a little busy, but still managed to search in between muggles going past. Saw something that needed my attention and yes what a find. Tftc.

Our first for the day and an excellent camo. The Tritonz spied the cache, we signed the log and replaced. Thanks GF07.
Steve and Erin out and about on our adventure day, decided to come back to Kilkunda and have a meander down the historic Bass coast rail trail and grab some caches while we are at it. TFTF )

Geohubby searched and searched to no avail, so I got out of the warm car and spotted it straight away. It was just lying in the grass near the post. Quite an ingenious hiding technique. A favourite because you had us scratching our head. TFTC
Quite a hard find. Geopartner find this one as he noticed something obscure. 23rd find for the. Hope to find my 24th. TFTC

End of our ride as we sit down for some sandwiches and a late lunch. We had already spent about 15 mins on this one. We continued to observe the area while munching. Another search and still nothing.
Very clever and well done hide perfect way to Finish off this part of the track.... the thought that went into this one. Well done tftc with geodude#74
Well thought out and creative container. Took a bit of poking around before I located this one as I looked past it the first time. Nice hide! Found with Lilmissgeo. TFTC!

Found at the start of our last day in this area. We've decided to start at this end of the trail and see how far we can get. At last the weather is pleasant for walking, although the flies are loving us! A quick find to get us started. TFTC
Heading to the island, came here after visiting Fern a bit further up the road. Found it on the ground. Now back in place. Logbook full.
We did a huge chunk of the rail today, so much work has gone into this, the variety of hides and types of containers. The weather was good to us, alothou very windy at times trying to blow us of our bikes. We enjoyed the ride and will continue to do some more tomorrow, Thanks for the hides.
Back today to complete this trail, in the comnpany of quiet1_au and GJMMelb. This time we had brought our bikes. G and Q found the cache after a bit of a search. TFTC
Found with Lochb and quiet1_au. Having concluded the trail and having one DNF we sat down and had a rest. We a quick look around for this before reading some logs and the hint. Concentrating on one area paid off. I spotted something out of place but was unable to extract it. After a bit of messing around we finally got it out and confirmed our suspicions. A great trail in ideal weather, with a variety of hides. Fav from me for this hide and the trail in general. Thanks Gonefishen07

At last, the end of the caching ride from Anderson for lochb, G' of GJMMelb and I and a perfect spot for a lunch break (well, it will do well enough anyway, shade and grass to sit on). But first the cache, and a tricky little one it was too! After searching all sorts of possible hides, something caught our interest and sure enough it was the cache and the tiny log scroll was soon signed. After a snacky lunch and rest we headed back down the road and the rail trail towards Anderson. TFTC
So glad to arrive at this destination. It's been a great morning out collecting the caches from Kilcunda to Woolamai. Surprisingly this sneaky little hide didn't take long to find at all. Now it's a bike ride to the New Years Day event. TFTC
This was exactly where i looked last time - yay its there today - still a very hot day tflc

Second try for this sneaky little find. Two problems; one finding it then retrieving it. Eventually both tasks accomplished. TFTC
This was a little tricky but Steve found it and between Jess was able to retrieve it.
Found travelling South after the Mega Event with OrionJ. Was able to park right next to GZ but finding it was a little harder. Soon spotted something but needed a tool to retrieve it. OroinJ had just the thing in the car and we soon had the log signed and returned as found. TFTC.
After enjoying the time in Cranbourne for The Melbourne Event, it was time to head back to Phillip Island for one more night with LHE Duo. Of course along the way there were a few caches to find.
We had decided to do another segment of the Rail Trail on the way back to Phillip Island and this one was right near the start of the trail so figure may as well take a look. Soon enough we actually spotted something and had a tool with me once I found it that would help in getting it out. Soon the log was out and signed and we were moving on again.

We spent far more time looking for this one than we really should have. All the more frustrating because I had checked the hide much earlier in our search, obviously not well enough. Well done, good hide. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.

#872 - My forth and final day down the coast today and I had decided last night that I would just do a few easy caches on my way back up North. As I drove past Kilcunda though, I ended up surprising myself and parking…
I still had half a rail trail to complete and a bike in the back! Even though I was extremely tired and sore from the last three days of intense caching, my mind was made up and well.. Once a Mountain Goat’s mind is made up, good luck changing it!
So off I rode, completing the second half of the rail trail. Even though the sun was out in full force today, there was no muggles to be seen! This was a huge bonus and sped up my ride considerably as I did need to be getting home!
By the time I hit the end of the rail trail, I had been able to put 45 smileys on caches and only had 7 DNF’s which was a good figure considering the rush I was in. Once again the high standard and variety of caches that awaited me blew me away. Such a well put together series that keeps you interested and always guessing!
Thank you again Gonefishin07 for the time and effort you have put into this series.

Looked around for a while on all the usual places. Lots of spiders in lots of hides holes.
Pretty sure we spotted the cache, but there was a huge spider guarding it! Had a bit of a play with the hide but couldn't work out how to retrieve the cache. Will need to return another day when hopefully the big spider has found a different home.
What a lovely day to be meandering around our lovely country side. Thanks for the extra excuse to get out and about.
Nice quick find on this one...tftc... note there are only about 3 spots left to sign..

Started this end of the Rail trail a few months back and the road about 500m away but at the time was out of time to pick up these few remaining caches.
Today was out on a numbers run with icefoxy. A great day and some ideal weather for picking up a few on a little tour thru the area this Saturday afternoon.
This was the last found in this section today and the sneakiest hide so far. I spotted it quickly and it was fun watching icefoxy try to spot it, which she soon did.

Out caching on this sunny afternoon, ideal weather for tackling the Bass Coast Rail Trail. I enjoyed the challenge of this one as I wrongly made the assumption that I was looking for the same type of container. A very clever hide. Squashed a few whitetail spiders retrieving this one!!
