Logs
Went to replace today but magpies were out in force, must be a nest in or next to G.Z, will be back to try again when it's less stressful for the mother Maggie.
Not sure it is still here as directions are to the centre of the creek. Had a good look around both high and low but no sign.
What an amazing place for a scout hall! What fun!Cache is in dire shape. I found a container that I would have dismissed as detritus, except for the faded geocaching logo in the puddle it contained.Well, I needed a smiley for today, so I still say TFTH!
Your shoes will get muddy! The cache definitely needs an update. Water damaged. I put the book inside a sandwich bag but that wont do much Was going to leave a trinket behind but thought it would only get damaged.Thank you
Found it with the help of EverestHigh and Techsavvy9 after attending a local Deaf Geocaching meet up event. Cache needs to be looked at by CO. Cache isnt in the greatest condition. TFTC
Nice quick find today with Buz21b. Log was a bit damp but just about signable. TFTC!
Found cache but it needs maintenance as it was found openly on the ground, which made us originally think it was rubbish (some rubbish nearby), log had also been wet.Was still able to sign log. Left keyring took nothing.
The hint doesn't make sense for where I found the cache but I still placed it back where I found it. Log is a little damp but still able to be written on. Also a very scary bird chased me out of there as soon as I finished lmao
Was slightly reluctant to enter the grounds especially as someone came out just as I arrived. Still there seemed no other way and so it is found. Gives a unique view of some of the houses backing the canal here.
The hide didn’t match the clue as I found it pretty much at ground level but all good.
Thanks

After driving down the wrong street and having to do a u-turn an go back we finally found this beautiful spot (for easy parking go to valentine swim centre carpark). Container was waterlogged so we cleaned it up an added a new container to try and help keep it waterproof, we also added a sticker. TFTF
Easter Sunday cache hunt and we saw this one on the map after brunch at Warners bay. Short drive and walk to ground zero. Found an old container and was a little disappointed however the geo kid had a second look and discovered the proper container not at head height anymore. TFTC. Signed log and replaced as it was. Only muggles were a few kayakers on the creek.
2nd time lucky. Thanks Shane for replacing the cache with a new one. Also thanks for your help. I must of looked like a chicken scrounging around in the leaves.
Ah ha I found it, after coming back with a fresh set of eyes and a little help I found it
Tried finding this back in 3/2019 with no luck. Looking at recent logs, people have been finding the remnants of the cache and its container. Today I found it. Container and cache is soaked and un usable. I have placed a new container with notebook in a plastic sealer bag and pencil in the old container and placed back where found it. It should last a while hopefully. TFTC.
Cache desperately in need of maintenance. Lovely quiet spot down by the river! TFTC
Found with My Dad (DJANT) and my Brothers (dart16 & Jedi Anakin) I have my own account now and am trying to catch up to the boys Thanks for the cache.
Cache is no longer there... Hasn't been found since sep 2019...owner maintenance needed
Cache no longer there! Didn't have high hopes as it hasn't been found since sept 2019!
Found the container, full of water, log drenched, just like every other cacher has before us. A quick find but the hint is completely wrong now. Cache desperately needs maintenance and has done so for a long time without any response from the owners. TFTC
Found with Beary_Unicorns on a very hot Saturday morning, visited trackables, tftc
Yeah this cache needs maintenance as it keeps getting water in it. Quick easy find though. TFTC!!! #1446
Found it without too much problem. Who knew this creek was here? Container was half full of water though. Tipped it out but contents are pretty much wrecked
Hint needs changing, as does the log. Cache is in dire need of TLC and does not appear to be water tight. I do love seeing the Scouts getting involved in Caching though TFTC 1st Valentine Scouts!
Accompanied with pwala everlasting skyejam and sevabo
Been searched everywhere
Finally found it
Thanks 1st Valentine Scouts

Got to gz with Tank Engine today and started our search. My gps was putting me in the creek. I didnt want to go there so started our search on dry land. The hint turned out to be wrong. If my head was there geez I would look very funny TFTC
Almost took us longer to find the scout hall than the cache! Found eventually, because the hint was "as wrong as it could get"... Also the log is a paper mache mess. Managed to get our names in it, but I would hope, if the scouts meet here regularly that they could fix it! Thanks.
Find while in the area for the Mega event with skyejam, everlasting, pwala, crank1 and dranyer thanks for organising the cache
15,665. Found during the OZGeomuster 2018 with minniek and Family - and today's addition to the car was Albida33.
Mega Day 3 - Headed out early after a yummy Scout-supplied Bacon & Egg Roll. Our aim was a loop of the lake targeting a selection of caches. Next stop of the day. Parked nearby for a quick find. Signed the log, replaced the cache, and headed off to the next one.
Thanks to all of the COs for their caches !!
TNLN - TFTC !!

Headed up to the OZGeomuster Mega from Goulburn. Early start again for day 3. All puzzles solved prior and caches quickly found today unless otherwise mentioned. Signed log as AMF or MAFF (depending on who signed) for myself, fitzy_1965 and the geokids (B0tmun, Lovetherabbitohs, DeathKiller & my_name_jeff_1). Albida33 was our car companion today.
Oz Geo Muster weekend Easter 2018. Day 3. Today I headed out with Fitzy_1965 and Minnek for a lap around Lake Macquarie and lots of caching in the bright sunny heat of the central coast. A very nice boat in the canal behind the scout hall. I poured the water out of the cache, but it is still wet inside. (Not head height, glad I did not read the hint)
Thanks.

Found with Zobo04 and Alansee We signed the log as GAZ . We had lots of fun exploring the area. Thanks for the fun and all the effort gone into placing them for us to find. TFTC
My accommodation for this weekend’s Mega was just up the road from here so made a quick detour before heading back out for the day’s agenda. Helped attempting it in daylight and from the correct street unlike a quick recon late last night. Log book soaked and needs replacing.
Just Mrs & Miss5 today. Aiming for 10 around Belmont - Warners Bay area while Miss8 is at a Guides event nearby & Mr is sleeping off night shift.
1st - Approached the Scout Hall to see it was opened and there were 2 people on the grounds, was going to retreat, but figured they weren't muggles as the Scouts had placed the cache. Had a quick chat and got the ok to go ahead. Even though it looked like GZ was in middle of creek, upon approach, it was easy to find.
T4TC & tree swing!

Find #1911
No problems here, cache was visible on approach. We signed and replaced with the cover better applied. It does look to need some TLC though.... TFTC al3xm

Definitely not head height but a good hide, TFTC. Nice creek and some beautiful boats!
Found it. It wanted for us to go for a swim. Hint not useful as it was hidden on the ground. Log was soggy so we put it in a clip lock bag. Tnlnsl TFTH
TFTC - slightly water logged. Probably needs ziplock bag for log. Have run out or we would have put one in.
Nice easy one for mr 4 while dad and sleeping little sister waited in the car. No pen so havent signed log. Tftc
It wanted me to go swimming but luckily we spotted something that looked get worthy and checked it out
Found on 11th Jan 2016. Box was full of wet grass clippings - not sure if this is part of the 'cammo' aesthetic? But contents were covered and it made the swaps unpleasant. No log book at all but pen present. There were two AAA batteries inside the box, and because the contents were wet the batteries are deteriorating. Might make for a dangerous box in the future. Not sure batteries are the greatest idea for a swap. Beautiful spot though, was hoping for a scout badge!!
it is a really nice area around here,we watched lots of activity in the channel with kyakers and people in boats going by .Thanks for the cache al3xm tnln sl
A great spot for a cache.

Found it. Nice easy find. Log is wet and needs a good dry off so couldn't sign with what I had. Bring a marker!
