DNF on 6th December, 2015. Visited a second time two days later with a previous finder to confirm that the cache is NOT in its hiding place.
We looked and looked but with 3 of us and the help of a passing local who pointed out where it should be we were unable to locate it. Will have another try next time we are passing through Stanthorpe. Thanks for the fun of the chase!!

We were unable to locate this one. While we were looking a cacher stopped and yelled out where it was but we were unable to locate it in that place, or nearby.
Catch up of missing online logs from Mega trip.Out with Mistraluna and Chwiliwr doing caches in and around Stanthorpe today.Found the cache without problems. Log was signed and the cache returned as it was found.Thanks Team Robins for the cache.
A difficult one! Spend 10 mins but DNF since there are too many possiblities. Then, we have a nice breakfast nearby. After the breakfast, we try again. This time a nice cacher helps us and points us to the right GZ. Finally grab this little evil!

Last day in stanthorpe! Had a beautiful Danish at the cafe near GZ. Spending five minutes searching the wrong place, lucky there was another cAcher who was so nice to give us extra hint! Thanks for the cache greetings from hk!
I had tried to find this one 3 and a half years ago, and despite several visits had never got to find it.
Today, on a public holiday, the evening street was practically deserted and it was easy to grab this one.

Each time I drove past this point there seemed to be a crowd around this spot making it a easy find for us. This morning we stopped and joined the group.

Found whilst attending Easter Mega at Stanthorpe Qld. Rain had stopped and the fog lifted to reveal a beautiful sunny day perfect for resuming my hunt for another cache in the area SL.TFTC!
I'm catching up on mega logging having difficulty remembering specifics for some caches, but this one I remember well because we had been passing suspicious groups searching there over the weekend. Later on we looked suspicious and found a cache there too.

This has been my stanthorpe nemises cache for a long time. Have never been able to subtly search for it with out someone always being around.

We saw awesome places, weather was good all the time and people were friendly and polite. Caches were pretty similar like in our home country. Of course there were some exeptions. Looked with taurus1955 and B/dale Bandits. We had been told that this one was here, but could not find it. Went back later when there were cachers who had previously found it, but they could not locate it either.
Day 3 of our trip to the Mega in Stanthorpe and we thought that this one should have been a snap as a vendor at the Market had told us where to look. We waited until today as there were too many muggles at the Markets. Anyway, no luck for us today even though we tied many shoe laces, lost or dropped our keys numerous times.
Found while attending the Mega. A weekend of mixed fortunes caching and weather wise.
After a quiet day yesterday we were keen to get out a find a few today.

We spent the day exploring Stanthorpe and its surrounding area. So many wonderful caches have been placed showing us spots we wouldn't normally have travelled to. A great day spent geocaching with our friends from this side of the country. Thanks to all who provided these caches for us to find.
In town for the mega. I wasn't muggled, I just watched all the other cachers find it, to help me find it, log it, then stay chatting to new friends met at the cache.
Found on second attempt. This time it was dry and no muggles. Caught up with North Brisbane cachers, Team (DNA), nice to see you both again.

Happy Easter Stanthorpe!! Back out on the road again today with Chwiliwr and The Better half, trying to finish off the remaining Apples and lab caches, plus whatever else popped up along the way. Back for a second try on this one, without so many muggles around this time. Gotcha! Thanks for the cache Team Robins

Took me weeks! Had to spy on the geocachers who are in town this weekend! Easier than I thought yet interesting to get it when there are so many people!
Looked high and low for this one, dropping all sorts of items trying to be stealthy but no smiley face for us this time. With B/Dale Bandits and misschief18
Had arrived at Gz to find quite a gang of cachers taking a great interest in the area. Joined the hunt ana soon found it, with cries of where was it, we looked there! Nano is broken and needs replacing TFTC Team Robins
How not to look obvious grabbing this cache? Do it when there are hundreds of people in town also going for it. Found with a group of random other cachers and now finally i have a smiley here! TFTC Team Robins!

For once, I walked straight to this hide and put my hand right on it, that never happens! Found with Ali600 and Team Canary.

On our way to the visitor centre for the big photo we stopped to look for this one and found it in the hands of other cachers, so an easy find for us. Impossible to screw the nano back together properly. TFTC

After driving past many times over the last few days, and seeing cachers on the spot, we finally seized the chance on Easter Sunday afternoon to pull over and have a shot. Thankfully, the cache was in hand very quickly and we were soon on our way. Certainly an interesting spot for a cache!

Been wanting to look for this one all week but never found an opportune time until now. TFTC.
Found with Jonsey65 while attending StanThorpe mega event. Log needs replace and the cache appears to be threaded, may need replacing
After years of not being able to hunt this due to muggles, rain, more muggles and all manner of other difficulties today was the day for final victory. With three on the job we still struggled but eventually found it. The container is threaded and the lid will not screw on, so wedged it in a suitable place to hold everything together. Oh yeah, log sheet is full too, as you'd expect with a Mega event just up the road. TFTC Team Robins
**this is a late log** I have recently made a major upgrade to my GSAK license and found this lovely feature that automatically tells me what caches I have marked found in GSAK but never logged on geocaching.com!! Yay, Clyde, you can have my money anytime! So, I attended the Stanthorpe mega at the request of several members of the organsing team. Having been to every event designated "Mega" in Australia up to this time I almost felt an obligation to oblige. I knew I would have fun catching up with the many friends I've made Australia-wide and that caching would be done -- and done it was! These are the finds I made while in the area and I enjoyed all of them despite the rainy and a tad cold weather. I cached with Uni, Shonky, and SX as well as Moneydork throughout the weekend. Thanks to all who placed caches in the region, they were all enjoyable.
Day three at the MEGA, and T-Tech and I teamed up with Nurseyjulie. I have solved all the Stan's Apple and Elementary puzzles (with help from various friends), and they were my main targets for the weekend. Today we set out to hunt down as many of the Stan's Apple puzzles as possible today. We found Stan's Apple 5,6,7,9,10,13,14,16,18,19,20,21,22,23,24,25,26,27,28,31,33 and 34, another Puzzle, 8 Lab caches and 11 Traditional caches [^]
A quick one for me to pick up before we got some lunch. A couple of other cachers came just after I made the find. TFTC, Team Robins.

Day 2 - Rainy days keep the muggles away
It was raining and Lisa had decided to go shopping. (Well she is essentially a "muggle" and not the least bit interested in all the caches that surrounded her) I had a raincoat and umbrella so set out for a wander.
Lisa and Blake had got bored of shopping so I was summoned back to the centre of town. There were a couple of quick caches along the way so I grabbed them.
The car was parked about 50 meters from this cache but more importantly a cacher was standing a couple of meters away.
"Have you found it?" I asked.
"No, but my kids have" she said and then let me know that they would be back in a minute.
The geo-kids did the retrieving/replacing and I just signed the log. You really have to take these opportunities when they arise.

# 615 - Today was lab cache day, but of course, there is always another cache close, so why not add a smiley or two, or three... Triciac2 and I have again joined forces with Rhyssa6 and Selva Girls.
We'd parked nearby for the lab cache and after buying an umbrella (it was pouring rain) we walked across to this little beauty. GZ happened to be on the opposite site of where we were initially looking and Selva Girls found the treasure.

What a better thing to do the day of a Mega event than hanging out with our dear friends the Couchmen and finding caches?! TFTC and great event!

We got a call from "Dhobitock", a caching couple from Brisbane, to say that they had come down to visit a friend in Eukey and would come in to have some time with us.
It was still raining lightly when they arrived so we showed them the various things that were happening , after we had spent a while in the main building Dhobitock & I still decided to head out and grab as many of the Lab caches as we could.
There were a whole group of cachers searching here when we arrived so we added an extra six eyes.
It was only after a while that we changed sides and the sneaky hide was revealed!!!

Out again today with Rhyssa6, Dutchie1950 and TriciaC2. We had headed here to buy an umbrella and few bits and pieces. Whilst waiting for the others, I crossed the road to search for this one. I started searching on the wrong side and found nothing. When I moved to the right side, I quickly had the cacche in hand. Log signed and cache returned to its hiding spot

4/4/15 Here for the Qld mega with marina25 and zardecoh. This one took a while and some friendly Muggles/cachers helped us. Some pointed us in the wrong direction, but eventually we were back on track and finally we had the little guy in our hand. Spent way to long here, but we weren't leaving until we had the smiley. Tftc
After a super pub lunch nearby thought we should grab this one. Still raining. We scurried around hunting high and low and were joined by other cachers on our quest. Yet another party strolled by and suggested we look on the other side. Geogirl went straight to it. TFTC
It was raining while we were looking for this one and we actually got quite wet. Found it and signed the log, but had a bit of difficulty screwing the lid back on. Got it eventually but think there could be something wrong with the thread. Thanks for the hide.
Out again today with Selva Girls, Dutchie1950 and TriciaC2 to find the lab caches. After finding the lab cache we headed to the shops for a couple of umbrellas and noticed this cache on the map. Off we went to find it in the pouring rain too. At least we have umbrellas now.

In town for the QLD Mega with Kingkeylocksmiths and Marin 25. It was a busy morning but we thought we could sort of blend in. Wrong!! With so many cachers in town we had all sorts of helpful (and a few unhelpful) hints!! It was finally found by Kingkeylocksmiths and log was signed! TFTC!

Had trouble here yesterday with a farmer's market on so didn't have a look. Today we walked past and other cachers were standing at the spot, so they showed me where it was but told me the log was full so I felt the cache, but didn't bother unrolling the logsheet. Thanks Team Robins.

MEGA was on so decided it might be a good idea to find some caches. "Some" ended up turning into a few hundred... the most exhausting experience.
Started in the city and pooh corner, ended up leaving a little late for Stanthorpe. Fun weekend, managed to get pushed into swimming across water a few times and finishing off some rum.
