Good Day,
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.

Solved the puzzle last night as one of my friends is doing a 10km run for Alzheimers here today.
I headed off to the GZ after she took off. It was a very nice view from the top ridge. However I think the cache might have been muggled as there was not many places to hide.
Unfortunately, I won't be back to Brisbane for a while, so there might not be a chance to come here again for a while.

We will be back! Failed to find this one today. Hopefully our answer to the puzzle was right.
Good CJ back with Ewy J, thanks for the puzzle, another cheeky find complete.
TFTC!
TFTC!
I have had this one solved for a long time now and it is only about 1 klm from our daughters house. Hardest part in finding the track leading to GZ is finding a place to park the geo mobile. Quick find. All Good TFTC Australnaughts.
Enough is enough!! The only way to stop my solved puzzle pile from collapsing under it's own weight is to get out there and put signatures in some puzzle logbooks. Another one came from the bottom of the pile, which I remember fondly. No problems here.
After dropping my daughter nearby for sports practice, and collecting some other local puzzles, I eventually made my way to this GZ. I had to out wait some muggles, before pouncing on the container for the find.
Many thanks, Australnaughts

19/3/17, 8:35 am Find #1826
I had some trouble working this one out. It took several attempts to work my way through before I finally got a set of coordinates.
Today, I parked a little walk away and wandered in. This is the third time I've been here to find caches. Hopefully I've got them all now.
The find was quick and easy with the help of the hint and no one came past to disturb me.

Quick park and grab. Most experienced puzzlers should see it as being pretty straightforward.

Out with ankakeca for a few hours.
Time to be heading home, but we stopped so I could grab this last solved puzzle. This cache was around long before I signed up to this crazy game, and I have had several attempts at it over the years, but never could work out the secret Then last night, knowing I'd be in the area today, I had yet another look, and suddenly an idea hit me: what if I do it THAT way instead??? Oh, brilliant That worked a treat!!!
Knowing that 'evince' is no longer available, I got my buddy for today to confirm my numbers, and this afternoon we made our way to GZ. An easy wander brought me to a simple find. TFTC, Australnaughts.

Out & about clearing up a few 'solved but unfound' mystery caches before they get archived! LOL ...
Adding a few traditionals for spontaneity & maybe a multi or two!
I remember doing this puzzle over 18 months ago & quite enjoying it.
Then it got buried in the puzzle folder & didn't surface again until recently.
Time to turn it into a smilie.
Parked close by & in minutes had the cache in hand.
All good here.
The brush turkeys are standing guard it seems.
Made our mark & replaced as found.

A real team effort to solve this. Neonpanda7 got us started, gourmetgazelle connected the dots then shanclose led the way up the hill. All good fun while the geokids played in the water park. Tftc. A favourite point from us
A great team effort with Neonpanda7 and Gourmetgazelle while the kiddies played in the water park. Great puzzle, thanks for the cache!
Well, this puzzle was an interesting one. Worked through a couple of scenarios before I figured out how to crack it. Then put my theory to the test, with good results!
Okay, on to the cache, and it was a quick walk this morning with the clan. Found in good condition, signed and returned. TFTC

Both my iPhone and my Garmin took me to the middle of a grassy field with no hopscotch numbers in sight.

This puzzle had me entertained for hours. I thought it might be impossible but I got relatively lucky came up with some numbers. I had solved this puzzle quite a while ago so when I turned up and looked at the clue, fifteen hops? You want me to what? LOL. It is a very lovely area. Thank you for bringing me here.
Managed to get some coordinates for this puzzle and I had to try them out today .
Followed the path and soon had the cache in hand.
Took the TB to move it on.

This required me to use all the resources that I had at hand, which includes but is not limited to a team of smart young things. In this instance a new member of the team who speaks so many languages I've lost count. This was her Gold Star moment, thank you JC you are a beautiful star... left some American coin and Earthbound Control's Blue Alien tb to continue on...
Put the puzzle up on facebook for help from friends. Team effort! Tftc. With greenpea123 and Jared.
We had worked out this puzzle some time ago in preparation for our visit for the Mega Event. Rain was falling steadily but it didn't stop our determination to grab a few caches on way out of Brisbane. Thanks Australnaughts.
Found with richlink on day one of our Mega 2015 Stanthorpe adventure. This was one of many puzzles solved in preparation for this event. Thanks Australnaughts for the puzzle and the cache
Is it just me or is this puzzle really really hard I might be missing something and if I am can someone please tell me there is literally like 100,000 possibilities
Found with geodad. Loved the puzzle! Swapped ring and loom band for firefighter and smiley. Tftc!
I was really geeky with this and decided that it would be easier to write a program than work it out by hand. Lots of fun had doing that. TFTC
Rojentil were up for the weekend so we solved the puzzle and found the cache while Guccigal ran the local Parkrun. TFTC.
Well this one had us stuck for a little while. Took the rules too strictly and thought we couldn't even jump in the same square twice. We were scratching our heads. Then we actually decided to work backwards and see where that led us.. Everything fell into place nicely. We were wrong in our presumption. Evince agreed with our coordinates. Great! So glad to complete this puzzle on the way home this arvo.
Enjoyed the challenge of this one.

Finally solved this one. Its been on my mind for a while. I printed it off, had loads of lines all over the paper. Re-read the details. Re-printed. Re scribbles.. then I got the first lot of co-ords! Next lot came a bit easier. Geochecker was wrong so I tried another set and checked out the good ole Google Earth. It must be there.. Off I went tonight and it is tricky to find at night..Torch and GPS light and methodically walked to the surrounds of GZ. Was about to have to come back in daylight when I saw what the clue said I would be looking for! TFTC
Decided to goto rocks riverside for a spot of ingress and Geocaching. I was able to complete enough of the puzzle to guess a search area and came up trumps. Great spot.
Good puzzle. Mrs STW could have got a lot more sleep if it wasnt for this one! Beautiful spot. TFTC.
Tftc. Logged with a possee. Nikshka, chloe sharron, and mentored by 5meerkats. Lingua-file
One on a list of many that had been looked at in this area and one that I had solved with some work.
As it turns out, my first attempts were a little directionless, and with just one mis interpretation of the rules thing were a touch confusing to start, however it did not take long to realise a better way of solving this. So a quick whip through and the answer was there.
Got to this one with Geoparents, LHE duo, and well it was a little challenge at the start finding parking, this estate does not look well planned for parking at all. After one loop back to where I wanted to park in the beginning, and take a short walk to GZ.
As the distance was counting down I was pleased to see that there was not going to be a need to go down the steep slope back a bit and was able to walk almost right up to GZ without to much trouble.

Really enjoyed this neat puzzle even though I solved it twice, having er, misplaced the coords somewhere. I now keep all my solved puzzles in one place ... the much coveted Annie's Puzzles notebook! No more wandering scraps of paper containing precious numbers All you need to do now is get your hands on the book
I arrived above GZ with Swellerfungus and Egginthesky. Eggs and I headed down the slope and stumbled about for a bit. We widened the search then decided to PAF Swellie. Oh! I looked there but not on the other side! Eggs grabbed the cache and we signed the logbook.
Loved this puzzle! Solved it back to front!
On we rolled on a Saturday morning of puzzle collection duty...

Quickly solved puzzle in less moves, which led to an odd set of co-ordinates. A quick read of the hint sent me back to the drawing board. Quickly located the cache and recovered White H3 Hmmer trackable. Tftc.
Solved this puzzle a few months ago ( hoped I did ) & finally got out to check my work. Thumbs up. TFTC.
Did this puzzle on slow work day a while ago and came by today to collect. Nice walk in the park to get to GZ and left a travelling Hummer. TFTC.
Finally got around to picking this one up! Great puzzle, deceptive to say the least! Approached from the right side and enjoyed the view. Fave pt from me
After spending ages on the puzzle I had to get my brother in law to do it for me. Simple once someone gives you the answer...
Found at 4 PM. All in good condition. Worked the hopscotch a bit from both ends, but I must confess I wrote a dopey little perl script to help with the middle hops... TFTC! Haven't visited that part of Rocks before.
Had this one solved for quite some time. When it first came out it had me scratching my head for a long time.... and then I noticed something.... after that it was only a matter of time.
GZ was also an interesting spot.... but won't give that away.
Thanks Australnaughts, that was a really enjoyable puzzle, favourite from me.

Thanks for the mental workout. My 150th cache! On the same day I have now retrieved 50 TB's and geocoins and realise that my favourite type of cache is a puzzle cache. Left TB. Thanks Australnaughts.
Not so successful in solving this puzzle. I read the rules somewhat differently so couldn't get it to work. Feathertop read them separately and showed me his workings - I didn't think you could do that!
Anyway, nice bit of parkland on this edge. We went straight down, but came back up on the path.
Bit of a bugger of a street to get into.
We seem to have done quite a few of your puzzles - thanks for those, Robmc.

# 1016. Getting towards the end of a long day but this was one we had to do. Robmc and I had made several attempts on this one (unsuccessfully) we kept arriving at the same spot and then getting stuck. Luckily Feathertop approached it a different way and was successful. After a steep walk down the path we were able to locate GZ thanks to the clue and 3 sets of eyes. TFTC
I solved this puzzle last week one afternoon in the back of one of the training courses that I was running down in Hobart. I was looking at it for a while when I had an idea and it proved a really efficient way of getting a solution quickly.
Glad to find it today whilst in this area with Betty Boo3747 and Robmc

I forgot I had solved this puzzle and only remembered when I was stumped on another Australnaughts brainteaser. I stopped by GZ after work on Friday the 13th with light rain falling. At least I did not have to worry about muggles. I have been past this cache on many occasions oblivious to its existance TFTC
This one has been sitting in the solved pile for a long time. Really enjoyed the puzzle! Thanks.
Geomummy solved this one and geodaddy collected tonight.
We needed a cache for the day and this one was nearby. There was definitely a 'trick' with this puzzle which luckily we worked out early on .
Cache is a great size and all in good order tonight.

Solved this one on the train on the way to work today. I couldn't wait to go out to find it. So I waited till the kids were in bed and headed out for the evening.
This was a surprisingly quick find. I have been past GZ many times (within metres), yet never noticed it before. The parking is good - only a short walk from the car. The cache was fully stocked.
I must say I dissaprove of the party poppers as a swap. I think they are dangerous both in the cache and if the kids find the cache ahead of a supervising adult. I took the liberty of removing this popper form circulation.

Finally got the coordinates for this one after figuring out an error in my original solved answer. I was on a sweep of the area and thought this one might have been close enough to grab. I approached this one from Rocks View thinking it might be on the same track. There was a rocky outcrop nearby that had fantastic views of the park and industrial area which I really enjoyed. Following the track down it led me into denser and denser bushland. Eventually found a path back down to ground level and recalculated my bearings. Another track was nearby so I made my way up that. I stopped halfway there to have some food and realised how close I was to some other caches I've found. Once my muesli bar was done I looked up and there was the cache, sitting on top of the rock maybe a hundred metres away or so. It has only been like this for a day or so, the last log in the book was from yesterday.
I'm glad to finally have this one crossed off the list, thanks for a great puzzle and cache.

We had to be a tad antisocial so we could get this one. We were there at a 1st birthday bash and being so close it just wouldn't have been right if Alkzura and I didn't go and pick up a few local caches. TFTC

Realising that we were heading to the park today, last night we went through the list of puzzles, and found a couple in the immediate vicinity. So this being one of them, we set off to solve them. I quickly worked out the best approach to solve this one, and it wasn't long before I had a set of co ordinates.
Today, we took a stroll to the GZ in the hot sun, and located the cache without any problem.
The cache is in good condition, and we signed the log before heading off.
Thanks for the fun puzzle.

Definately a fun puzzle. Glad i managed to solve it. Worth the effort. Quick find while taking the kids to the park. TFTC and the puzzle
I struggled with the puzzle until I got some inspiration from the previous logs. Correct interpretation of the rules makes a big difference. Nobody around at GZ for an easy find TFTC
Puzzle took us about an hour and it seemed like we had to break a rule to solve it. Also found the neat solution with too few hops. Geolad found the cache easily enough. In good condition and took geocoin. TFTC.
It's puzzles like this that keep me awake all night [:o]
But that's a good thing, 'cos I'm not supposed to fall asleep at work on the night shift
With the coordinates finally solved, I replaced the toner cartridge in the printer and picked up the numerous sheets of A4 with failed attempts scrawled on them and threw them in the recycle box
(I hope the office staff don't find out who is using all their supplies !!)
Free of any work related thoughts this morning, I pedaled towards the rich caching grounds of Oxley and Corinda
As I wobbled along the streets and through the parks along the riverside, this cache location was the first that hove into view
Lucky for me I was keeping one eye on the GPS.
If I had got carried away on the downhill run I would have had a long climb back up to GZ.
The cache was neatly hidden, but easy to find [^]
I popped the "Juwel of the moon Geocoin - # 1" in the cache to continue its hops around Oz !!

Well, I fooled around with the puzzle for a while and only made a little headway, owing to my over strict interpretation of the rule against revisiting squares.
Fortunately, I gave the puzzle to my 11yr old son who nailed it in about 10 minutes... and off we went to find the cache in great condition. Thanks for another good one, Australnaughts!

Took a while to solve the puzzle, but finally worked it out. Decided to take a nice walk on a Saturday afternoon and look for the cache at the same time. Had been along the path a few times before, but that was pre-geocaching days. Found it without too much trouble and signed the log. Great puzzle and TFTC!
The cache was one of 107 finds during a three day visit to Brisbane where it was work during the day and caching during the night. One of twenty puzzle finds for the trip. Had the puzzle solved before arriving.
A puzzle with a bit of a difference that was both challenging and enjoyable to do. Parked nearby and made my way to GZ where I quickly located the cache. Log signed and cache rehidden. A beautiful day for caching too.
Thanks Australnaughts.

We attempted to get this cache today however it was totally fenced off by council.
I had this solved soon after it was released but I had not been to the area until today.
I soon found the cache. I took out the Sydney Koala geocoin.
I forget how many times I have parked in this spot to get caches in the area. I think the neighbors must know me by now.

Figured out the smart way to solve this one, but like other cachers, I found I could get to the outside in much less then the required number of jumps. Spent a long time agonising over it and eventually had to ask for help . I explained my dilemma to a friend who has solved it and he said seven words that fixed everything. I still reckon I was reading the rules correctly (insert sulky face). Found the cache this afternoon after work and signed the log. TN/LN and discovered the TB but left it there. I think I might have to find that 'Australnaughts' voodoo doll I made some time ago and stick a few more pins in it .
We had solved this one not long after it was published but had to wait until bee1 was back in the driver's seat before it could be found.
The puzzle wasn't too hard - it just depends on how it is approached. We used a spreadsheet with a few simple formulae to find our way around the board.
Today it was a hop skip and and jump.
thanks for the puzzle and the cache A0.

When I saw Gunnie's log I began to wonder if I could use anagrams Australnaughts as a puzzle idea , but then thought my time would be better spent solving this tricky little puzzle. I had an initial go, but had to confirm some things with lokipagan, plus a little clue before the puzzle fell into place
Today accompanied with Captain Terror and Lokipagan, we stopped by to grab this cache. The cache was soon in hand and was in a good dry condition,
Thanks again for another great (and original) puzzle

Tagged along with Totalube and Lokipagan for this one today. TFTC, a unique puzzle indeed.
This puzzle initially had me stumped when first published. I had a solution but not with 15 hops! Apparently my hops are different to your hops! Must be my short legs!! Tried again once I knew it was solvable and realised my mistake. The correct solution was then quickly found. A lovely area at GZ today with the sunshine! Thanks Australnaughts
Do you have any idea how many "nasty" names you can make, using Australnaughts as an anagram... [?] Well, neither do I but there were times that I contemplated doing that as a puzzle rather than continuing with the actual puzzle for this cache...
I tried to solve this in at least four different ways to no avail, than late yesterday afternoon I had an idea that worked very well indeed. If only I had thought of that in the first place, I could have saved myself a whole lotta time... I admit to reading the rules of the puzzle and reading waaaaay too much into them. That hurt me for quite a while...
The oldest junior Gunnie had to go to work around lunchtime and waht d'ya know, it was onyl a couple of K's from the final coords... Now that's handy... [^] So, after dropping her off, I headed inbound for a nice easy find...
A well constructed puzzle that I did enjoy, despite the frustration at times. Oh, for the record, the way I solved it determined that there is in fact, only one solution... [^]

First, try the shotgun approach: let's see, thats 8x8x8x8x8x8x8x8x8x8x8x8x8x8x8 possible combinations at most. Hmm, maybe not that way after all.
Second: think about it - Aha! that simplifies it a bit!
Only about five hours later, the coords seemed right, so off for an amble, and a quick find as it turned out. (Just as well, too, for the heavens opened a few muinutes after I was back in the car.)
Thanks for the puzzle, Australnaughts. Have you ever thought of a different hobby?

We must have just missed George as the heavens opened as we arrived at the cache. If ever 'Extreme Puzzle Caching' becomes a spectator sport this cache would have a perfect vantage spot - happily nobody was viewing this morning.
Round and round and round we go, and the puzzle was good too.
After negotiating some twists and turns, a set of coords became apparent and it looked like a promising spot on GE.
Found the cache in good condition (natch) after a short walk to GZ. The area was quiet this afternoon which made the search easier but putting the cache back required a small detour when a Mr. muggle walker appeared.
Signed log. No swaps.
Thanks Australnaughts for the cache and another head scratcher.

An early morning raid with the littlest freak yielded a *FTF* for the ControlFreaks at about 6.30 am. This followed an evening of fiddling with the puzzle which eventually saw an acceptable set of coordinates being found. At GZ we had to out-wait the various early morning exercisers walking back and forth along the paths - including one who almost seemed to be on-guard!
Thanks for the puzzle - I'd be interested to know if there is only one solution - and if so, how to check for this. And thanks for the cache. Geocoin taken to move on over the holidays.

Well done to Control Freaks on another FTF and yes there is provably only one solution to this puzzle.
