I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in the last reviewer note.
Hi bumandworker
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.
Regards

A DNF for me today and a few previous people have reported the same. The cache has not been found since last year. So it might be time for the owner to have a look and see if it is still there
Decided on a drive over the hill to test out the new bike rack.... After a ride over near Richmond I decided I had enough time to get a few caches here before the gates are locked.
This cache was a bit exposed - so put away slightly more tucked away.

Out for a cycle on the Western side of Rabbit Island grabbing a few caches. Fourth of nineteen. Thanks for the cache.
Heute sind wir nach Rabbit Island gefahren, um dort die Caches zu heben. Bei herrlichen Wetter haben wir uns auf die Suche begeben. Diesen konnten wir gut finden. Danke fürs Legen.
Today we drove to Rabbit Island to raise the caches there. In glorious weather, we went on the search. We could find this good. Thank you for laying

A quick find and all in good order. Signed log and replaced as found. Thanks for another B&W cache

What's with rabbit Island? I had this place ticked off, now it looks like nearly every cache I have found has been archived and it looks like I have hardly been here at all! So Taybeedragon and I got the bikes out for a fill in the gaps day.
I put the bike down and - hey is that the cache? Love these fast finds!

I had decided to test my wonky knee out with an easy bike ride around part of Rabbit Island as well as signing off a few caches.
I didn't see the TB that is supposed to be in here.
Cheers for the cache.

The Seagnoid has snagging solved puzzles and an odd multi on his radar for the weekend in Nelson. Zara was in the body shop Thursday so we are here early. Rabbit Island is on my radar today. So lets go! After a quick trip back to Stoke to pick up Tobys nose job!! Dah!
Leave Zara at the beach checking out the sights while I start walking.
Another snag and tag on my way to the ferry access. Cheers

Finally, the day has come and I have arrived to New Zealand. This three week long trip has been planned for more than 6 months. First of all, I was going to visit my daughter and her boyfriend, who has been on the islands for almost one year, next was to see as much as possible of both North and South islands. My daughter had done a day to day planning on where to go and what to see. This trip was not planned as a Geocaching trip, but we should definitely search for some caches all over the islands.
Day 9. Motueka
Today we made a trip to Rabbit Island. After some lunch, we took a walk around the island to look for some caches. This one was found without any problems. Logged together with Klövsson and Familjenloov. Tftc

Quick find - but only after taking a slightly dangerous route through some partly rotten slash that cut us about a bit! Following the path back to the bikes was so easy.........duh! TFTC.
Not totally understanding the name of this cache but we got a smiley face on our record....tftc
Had unfinished business with this one - I searched briefly for it when I was last here three years ago and didn't find it. My excuse is that it was at the end of a long day and I was getting tired. No problems this time, found it in a place I'm sure I checked last time. Didn't take long at all. Signed log, TFTC!
Needed to entertain nightowl19 and although she is a keen cacher sometimes, I occasionally need to make the proposed trip to be different or interesting to maintain her attention and motivation when she comes along, so a trip to Rabbit Island was mooted, and with bikes on the back of the car so we could have a pedalling trip left her interested and up for the challenge. In addition to this I had designs on grabbing one, or more (lots in fact) solved puzzles 'on the way'. Depends on your route, a circuitous snake-like journey can be considered 'on the way'.
Cycling the highways and bi-ways of Rabbit Island and only managed about half of the island this day as young legs were tiring in this heat (and old legs was the same!) nightowl is starting to flag so not many more to be found I reckon. Q E F here today

In Richmond for a wee family holiday. Mr TG grew up here; staying with family.
Another hot day in the offing so we headed out early to Rabbit Island....the boys were keen for a swim....and Mr & Mrs TG for a run (independently!). Drove up to the beach front and as far left as possible....and whilst the boys and I headed for the beach for a swim (we were early enough to pretty much have the place to ourselves!) and play Mrs TG headed left for a run....Quick find and sign along the way. Nice to knock off a few of the Rabbit Island caches. Cheers.

Found with NZDi. While all and sundry are in Christchurch at the NZ Mega Event, NZDi and I are having a little geocaching weekend of our own. Yesterday we travelled the length of the Awatere Valley up as far as the Molesworth Cobb Cottage and picked up all the caches we didn't already have with the exception of three of GH6710's caches up the Mt Altimarloch Road for NZDi. We even managed to score a F T F up the Medway which must 'annoy' Marchwood as he was up there the day before when it was listed.
Today we came over with our MTBs and rode around Rabbit Island picking off caches here and there with mixed success. After having success at the previous couple of caches, NZDi said I could find this one. As soon as I headed in the direction my GPSr was telling me, she said 'Cold'. I looked at where she was looking from a distance and also spotted it straight away.

Nice afternoon walk with kids on a beautiful sunny Nelson day so thought we'd stop for couple of caches on the way. TFTC

After lunch we headed out for a bikeride at Rabbit Island. Just about all the tracks were closed. This was the second cache we could reach. I dropped two geocoins off. Hopefully we will find more on the way back to the campervan.
While Master B was taking part in the 6 hour BreakOut Bike Ride elsewhere on Rabbit Island, I took to my bike for a bit of a CacheOut Bike Ride around some of the extremities of Rabbit Island we rarely get to...
I almost over-shot this turnoff, but had my attention drawn to it by a father and son biking off in that direction. I followed them down the track only to be asked to be quiet as they were hiding from their wife/mother and daughter/sister and had I seen them?
'No', I said. 'Suspicious', I thought, but then again no more or less suspicious than my going down the track to look for a plastic container in the woods. Perhaps they were seeing what it was like to *be* a geocache!.
Well, I soon found the cache, signed the log and when I returned along the track the father and son were no longer there. Found or muggled I wonder?
Anyway, thanks for the hide

Didn't have a pen so here's a photo of the log. This one was a bit tricky but I had lots of time. TFTC
6604. Out on another cycling outing today. Decided to make the trip to Rabbit Island from Tahuna. This was cache number eighteen for the day. Found the cache after a short search. Thanks for the cache and the exercise. Rodney and Iris.
GZ looked a bit daunting as there were lots of potential hiding places, but luckily with 2 of us searching, it didn't take long to track down the cache. TFTC.
#8058. Lots of potential hiding places, so we decoded the hint pretty early on. I was pleased when I spotted the hide. TFTC.
Third time lucky - WHOOPEE!!!! Now I'm wondering how on earth I missed it on the previous two attempts. Heck.....but that's caching I guess!!! Thanks BW for the frustration and ultimate GOTCHA moment!! Cheers
Today was the Valentines Day Event at Rabbit Island and after saying hi to a heap of fellow cachers I headed off to collect a few outstanding caches. Today was a 2nd visit to find this cache but with a bit of extra knowledge the cache was soon found but still a very tricky hide. TFTC
We came on bikes with weter1 to turn Rabbit Island into smilies. We searched for ages here and were about to give up when it was finally spotted.

Totally awesome day ! We started the day at Mapua Wharf were we met the lovely Capt Andrew who rented us mountain bikes and took us over to Rabbit on the ferry. We have been on the island for the last few days but walking we were getting nowherevery very fast. This wasnt the case today, we were on the island by 10:10 and this was our second cache of the day.Visited this cache twice, the second timeto retreive the shades we leftnearby. Found the cache quickly and on to the next cache. Thanks for the bringing us to this great place.
Makka pakka 2 went out to day for a ride along Rabbit island, the fairy to Mapua and to have an ice-cream.TFTC
Found the cache pretty quick. Brocko's eyes caught the side of the cache on the way in. Thanks
Looked and looked with MrsL, but like many others before me couldn't make the elusive find. Had to give up for another caching day on the island.
Heck......no luck for me again!!!! I know it's there somewhere.....will return!!!
Not a quick find but got there in the end. The spider who was guarding the cache and had built a large web was not[^] happy. TFTC
Got to GZ and had a quick look, but was running sort on time and there were too many options for this one. Will try again next time I'm in the area.
Day out with the Family on our bikes, so we decided to do a few on our route. Great fun was had by all. unfortunately the GPS was giving us a lot of false readings here. soo many variables for this site. might have to pop back another day without little feet
Oh dear so many possibilities, after a few minutes of wandering around the GSP zeroed out at the exact location, all that was needed was a bit of committed searching.

A quiet afternoon out caching with Hazedarus and an enjoyable walk along to an area I haven't been to before. Thank you for bringing me to this end of the island. TFTC.
Either we're being followed or unknowingly follow... Some suspect activity was noted on the island though. What a beauty day for caching. Went out with Holymu to cross a few of our list. Does the full moon have an effect on GPS? Noted for the second time when the moon is full that the readings are jumpy. Thanks for bringing us to a part of the island we never ventured to.
