Looked yesterday and the area around here had changed drastically. Going to archive this cache as replacing it would mean a significantly different hide.
IlonatheK and I had a real good scour of the area using the clue. There is evidence of alot of water passing through here in the recent past as well as a tree down thats fallen in the direction of the playground. No find Im afraid.
Out and about with Nurseyjulie today This is one of my nemesis caches Every time I come here and can't find it, shortly there are others who find it, but when I turn up again, it's nowhere to be found!!!! Sigh. I'll be back...
What a great park this is! Had a great time wandering around today. TFTH Unfortunately the cache is completely waterlogged and needs to be replaced
Easy find next to a great little park. We will be back to ride the helicopter again.
We found this one on a night hunt. It took alot longer to open the tin than it did to find the cache!
After a nice walk from sheep station gully, the cache itself was easily found, getting it open on the other hand took longer than finding the cache, great park for the kids, will have to bring them back here. Tftc.
Went out for an early morning walk without a GPS and decided to look for caches anyway using gut instinct and the hints. Didn't work for me in this area! Too many places to look, even with the hint. Thanks for a chance to walk around in an interesting area anyway. Rodney
5195. Went back to this area again this evening to look at the roosting bats. Never seen so many together at once! While doing the loop had another look for this cache and found it - still without the GPS. Not where I would have expected it based on all the information I read afterwards. Thanks for the cache. Rodney
URGENT....if anyone finds this cache this afternoon or in the morning, there is a green dragon in there which is part of a trackable, unfortunately the other half I found in my pocket when I got home. Can't get over there again until first thing in the morning to match them up again.
Had moved a little distance from base of tree. We placed it back where we thought it should have been.
Found it - it's a bit damp inside, the log book is mouldy.
I suggest replacing the container as its not watertight and starting to rust.
Took Nothing - left a pencil for the logbook

No trouble finding this one as it was laying out in the open.
The problem though was when I tried to get it open - there was no way that we were going to get the lid off that canister!!.
I took a photo instead to log the visit but the CO may want to have a check on it.
I replaced the cache back where it should be with a bit of cover to help.

Went to check on this cache today, found it alive and well, and moved it back to where it lives under a nice UPRAS.
Found by Sunshine Toledo and Jinga2 at 3:25pm. This is the 3rd time we have been here and the cache is now 25 metres from where we looked last time, a year or so ago. It was out in the open on the ground too so we have hid it as close to where we think GZ should be. TFTC

Out with newimagepm this beautiful Sunday morning. Quaint park and couldn't spare the time to take a ride. Probably a good thing as I would have stayed for ... "just one more minutes", several times over
This one took us a while and probably it needs to be seen by the CO as we found it quite a way off. Not sure where it was supposed to be as there was quite a bit of bounce this morning between a Garmin and a Oregon 550.
If the CO would like some more info we did take a pic when we returned it to the ' found' location.
Container and contents were all in good order though.

Not sure this one was where it was meant to be, but put it back where we found it.
Was easy to find if you spread your search out a bit.

In Brisbane on a course for work, but primarily work in the Pilbara WA and live in the Hunter Valley NSW. Ducked out to grab a couple the sarv’s after I finished. But not this one. Alot of recent flood washed debris around the base of the trees too. TFTH though.
I wasn't worried about [red]Hell[/red]icopters
More threatening was the fallout from disturbing the ibis colony that lives in the trees above GZ [:o]
Ibis poop raining from the skies was not a nice thought
I got away with it though and with the swooping noises of panicked Ibisi taking flight above me found me the cache.
Getting the lid off the cache was the toughest part

A quick find after arriving at a deserted park! Woohoo. I had visions of dodgy children and wary parents. Took TB. Found on a caching day while visiting from Sydney. TFTC
someone didn't land where they should have
nice playground
took white bunny
left green ribbon
left Pack 2 Winchester VA coin

What a well hidden park. Cache quickly located, log signed. Both in good condition.

Couldn't be very stealthy today as we approached GZ a flock of Ibis took off rather loudly. Nice little spot we like the bats. Eco tried the helicopter but she is rather too big for that sort of caper.
TFTC. Found it. No muggles but the trees were full of Ibis making noise. Kind of creepy.
We were glad that the cache wasn't near the apprentice helicopter pilot, as that would have stuffed our chances of a find. A quick find in a common hide.
Thanks, Robmc.
Thanks, Robmc.
# 1046. I looked and looked but couldn't make out a helicopter in the park. I note Feathertop saw it - must be something to do with a girl look v a boy look!! I mean, what would I do with a helicopter? Anyhow, GZ seemed to be a good distance away from the playground. Great. We disappeared into the bush and did indeed find what we were looking for. TFTC
We saw the helicopter but we were glad the cache wasn't in it as it was being used at the time!
Short search found your cache nearby

Kids loved the park here. How great to see an area with such a high density of decent playgrounds. They played while I searched and turned up the cache relatively quickly. The kids rummaged through the contents and made their swaps before we had to move on for lunch before I could get the final two nearby caches . TFTC- evidentally this was my hundredth!
Nice playground hidden back here!
Pity the kids were all at school they would have loved it.
I found this cache in no time after I got the right co-ords! My gps was only showing the old hiding spot. Thank goodness I had my iPhone.

I failed on this one badly many months ago, but would not be denied today. The container is distinctive but unlikely to be spotted unless you land right on it, which is probably what you want! Absolutely no one around today so it made for a relaxing experience. TFTC again, DRML.

We searched for this cache but unfortunately we could not find it. The bush was very overgrown though.
Went back with Brother Colin (a previous finder) and he confirms the cache is missing. Perhaps the CO might take a look?
Had a look around but didn't find anything. Didn't see what I consider a bush either but I was probably getting hung up on terminology.
Unfortunately couldn't find it. Things are pretty overgrown and there are lots of leaves after the rain.
Out and about again with Net88, this time on Brisbane's southside!
This was our only DNF We searched all over, used the hint, read previous logs, but no luck. We even made 3 PAF's (yes, definitely 3 PAF's!!!) to check the GZ, and all said the same .

Found today - not much camo left on this one and it was way out in the open - we slid it further under cover (hope that is ok - but with clean up day around the area it really could of been picked up as rubbish.
Now onto the park...great little park the geoboys loved the helicopter but holy BATS, batman!!! I have never seen so many bats out at daytime!! Everywhere!! Freaking out geomummy bigtime!

Out for a really big day caching with Censations in Karawatha forest. Over the course of 15 and a half hours we managed about 25kms on foot (17 within Karawatha forest bounds), 42 caches and NO DNFs - gotta be happy about that. Legs are tired now, but what better way to keep fit?
I like helicopters. But this one is missing the important part of a helicopter - the top blades. Censations offered ( a few times ) to give me a spin on it, but we were already creeping out the muggle family trying to enjoy the playground.
Agree with the Gambler - no longer camo'd, or at least not for this environment. Maybe in the snowies? Wasn't sure what to make of the hint for a while, but we worked it out. Cache is all good and safe.

Out caching with Pprime. This was cache No. 26. LOVE the helicopter. It's so cute! I offered to spin Pprime around but he wasn't interested. Awww.... Once again thanks for the cache.
What a cute helicopter
the camo on the cache has been worn off and it is now white, and in need of more camo

Gps had me about 8m off and the cache was more than arms reach into the bushes- maybe no longer in its original location?? Nice quick find anyway. Tftc
Found this time around... Nowhere near where the gps sent us.... Opposite side to where we thought... But found at last tftc
This one was a bit of a hard one but eventually found it...it's not camo'd anymore though....

Must of been standing within arms reach for a good 10mins, boy did I feel silly when I spotted it. TFTC
Searched for ages with no luck.... Eventually PAF to check we were in the right spot.... We were... Searched some more.... Eventually decided to come back another day :/
Allofus7 Geo Mum and Couchmen Geo Mum & Dad on the prowl and we come up with another DRML Nice Hide Easy Find TFTC TSLS SL Amazing how thse little parks just are so hidden away thanks for bringing us to this beautiful spot.

I really wanted to have a go... But didn't think I'd fit!! Once I found the dirt path, the cache was easily found

Out for a big day on the geobike today.
I searched the wrong area at first, then the GPSr settled down and pointed about 4m over there. Found it then.
All well with the cache tho seems to have lost it camo colours.

Nice easy find, thank you. Kids enjoying said helicopter. Left witch TB. What a great park by the way, thanks for bringing us here.
Went in for a walk with the geokids and geodog. I'm starting to feel like I might be the planner and the cover for the geokids as this one was found by geokid2
Couldn't get a good GPS fix, misunderstood the hint (I now realise), and had a squad of BCC workers doing maintenance nearby who seemed to be getting increasingly interested in what I was up to! Had to split, but must say that the sights and sounds of the wildlife around here were pretty remarkable. Make sure you look up. TFTC anyway, DRML. Til next time.
Easy find, the person before us never found it. Left a TB. 8D
Thanks for the Cache.
Thanks for the Cache.
DNF for us today: we even had a good hint but we couldn't track it down. I hope it isn't suffering Cache-creep or has disappeared. Maybe next time.
Found it...
Having lived in this vicinity for about 10 years (a few years ago) new exactly where this cache would be from the cache name...
Was astounded as I arrived ay GZ to hear the racket & stench from all the flying foxes that have moved into this previously nice park area..
Thankfully none located immediately above GZ...
Short search soon located the container..
TNLNSL
Thanks DRML for the cache (shame about the invaders)

Relogging this under individual account, previously a member of Gaz'n'Kab account.
We had tried this once before but were muggled out! We set off this afternoon in the hopes that we would be alone at GZ. We guess that the GPS gods were with us today as once we arrived the was not a soul to be seen.
The cache was soon in hand and the log being signed. The cache is in good condition. We even had time to attempt to play on the caches namesake before some muggles appeared.

Really was hoping I find this one and drop off a couple of bugs that are in my possession. Accuracy on my phone failed me this time. Will try again.
We arrived at the park to find a family playing on the swings. We quickly ducked down the dirt path and the cache was quickly in hand. It was very exposed. Aftwe signing it we covered it up more securely. Lots of smelly and noisy bats nearby . TFTC
The cache was quite exposed when we arrived this arvo. Quite a big colony of bats here.

No one in the park and only flying foxes for company, I searched and found the cache quickly. The trackable didn't appear to be there. I resisted the urge to fly the helicopter and moved on. TFTC DRML
HAHAhahahaha, a pedal powered helicopter and other fun stuff. I'm sure my pilot's uniform just topped it all of. Pedal, pedal, pedal, peda...wait, wasn't here a cache here somewhere!? Ah fun time over, onto the hunt. It took me a little while of searching, but did find it not far from the aforementioned incinerating device. the camo has seen better days, but cache in good condition. TFTC. Very smelly as I crossed the nearby boardwalk under about eleventy billion bats.
