Came back for a second look with fresh eyes after some more experience hunting down caches. Also read back through the logs. Pretty sure we were in the right place, but no cache. Am placing needs maintenance so hopefully CO can check it out.
We found six caches in Lower Hutt today, mostly near the Waiwhetu Stream, but this wasn’t one of them. Had a good look here but came up empty-handed. Based on the hint and ‘clues’ given by previous loggers as to its likely whereabouts, we seriously wonder whether it’s still there. Might pay for the C.O. to check.
Some kind person has put a bit of paper in it. You look in the logical place to put it then you see it tiny bit of white...success.
Had to dodge some muggles, but quick find once they disappeared around the corner, cheers
It was well hidden but not that hard to find. I don't think any muggles will get it.
I have a 3 month sabbatical mostly traveling around the planet. My goal is to find and log 1000 caches. New Zealand is my 4th station traveling from south Christchurch to north Auckland, my first visit here, its far away. This is my sabbatical-cache #772
Haven't been out this way for years and so decided to clear out a small area around this spot. Did with Mycro Man, Ezratar, Wandering Dragons, Violet Butterfly and Astro Hunter. Thanks for the cache.
Just out for a stroll today and thought I would look for some caches. What a cool hiding spot. Thanks
Found after searching a couple of spots. All quiet this early in the morning
Thanks for placing the cache drawp.
Find number 4441.

Interesting location which I had not visited before. Cache was found in the second place checked. TFTC
Here for the day to see my daughter performing at the Wellington fringe. Headed up to the walking tracks. Was pleased as found 12 out of 14 caches. Good work out on the way up. Such great views over the valley. Cache all fine. TFTC
For a long time we have wanted to get some smiley faces along this bike trail and these few days off in the camper were the very excuse we needed to do them. The ride was very enjoyable and very easy with just a little breeze. It was great to see such an array of different hides and to see some of the country side from a different angle. All hides appeared to be in good condition and the co ords were usually spot on
Many thanks for bringing us to this area

A quick and easy find. Thanks
A day spent driving up and down the Hutt Valley finding one or two caches.
Thanks to all CO's for placing and maintaining their caches. Cheer

Out and about with team geocacher Mr. T in an area we have not been before. The cache was a quick find (by Mr. T) in the first place he looked. Good co-ords always help. Thanks for placing a cache here.
On a hot Wellington day it was lovely to get out and feel a bit of breeze as I hunted for the cache. TFTC
Very quick find at the tail end of my morning run. Nobody about today due to the Polytech being closed for Easter Monday. TFTC!
I was out this way seeking out a recently solved puzzle cache so i took the opportunity to add a quick easy find to my tally.

Hello from Juneau, Alaska. Out on a morning geo--jog and came to grab this one. Lot of folks waiting for the bus, but they where all on their smartphones so they didn't notice me. #3809

This took a bit of finding. The coords were clear which side of the bridge the cache was on, and I first checked the obvious spots. Nothing found, so I went under for further searches. Lots of cobwebs later I came out on top and widened my search - cache found ogther side of the stream! I placed it back in the spot that seemed like the original - I look forward to seeing whether the next finder has a straightforward job. Other than that, all good at GZ - dry log etc. Thanks for #2754
It had to be hidden like that really. It's easy to hide it out of sight without making it difficult to retrieve again. Some people don't seem to consider that. TFTC.
I was out visiting my mother this afternoon. I decided to stop and have a look for this one on the way home.
Cache is all good and dry.
Thank you

#480 attempted this one before and had no luck. Quick find today though. Let's put it down to more experience. Found with zz6000
It's been put back or knocked inside way too far to now retrive
But I guess it will be nice and dry

Brand spanking new on the log.
Nephew wanted to go caching, so here we are. On holiday from Auckland to catch up with family. Weather's really turned it on for us.

Found it but my hands were far too large to retrieve. Suggest the next searcher brings or improvises tools to retrieve.
don't need polytecknics, small hands enough.

#803. Out on a night caching raid in Lower Hutt. This one took a while. Searched the obvious places then checked where the GPS suggested the GZ would be. Saw container with my torch. But no way I could get it with my hands. So found a tool nearby to improvise and after a lot of careful manipulation I had the cache in hand. Signed the log (which had very few names in it) and returned it to similar location with the same tool. Left tool hidden elsewhere on the bridge. TFTC
Unlikely to be up north for another 2 to 3 months, only too happy for some kind cacher to replace the cache otherwise I will disable it. Cheers drawp.
This cache hasnt been found in a while I think it might be gone the co might need to check on it
I was helping my friend find this geocache because I have previously found it, but couldn't locate it. I think it must have been deposed of.
There was under the bridge a metal container but it was empty. Tried to find something fir quite some time but no luck. I wonder if the little container have been the one but somebody had destroyed the cache.
Spent a while looking for this geocach but couldn't find it. Finally after a few hours u managed to spot it.
Great location and excellent idea!

Quick find thanks, cache was quite exposed, very visible to any muggle who might walk across so hide it a little further in.
Great little place to hide TFTC
