Ugh, I totally forgot about this one. Will see if I can do a maintenance run soon!
Noticed while walking past that WP2 is missing. Will try to remember to bring a replacement when next in the area (which isn’t often these days.)
Saturday night in the valley presents a few challenges here haha - found WP2 fine but no luck at WP1 (unless we're talking about the huge qr code that I'm not scanning amongst the flow of people )
Thanks for the experience

My daughter Pinkypie05 and I initially looked for this cache in August 2021 after her nearby eye specialist appointment. I was confused with what to do with the UTM coordinates. I contacted a friend who told me what to do. My daughter had another appointment today. We arrived early, went to the waypoints and gathered the information needed to go to the final waypoint. A nice easy find today. We took a photo of the clue. It worked out well as I needed a cache for my calendar today too. TFTC!
I collected most of the other caches in this series 5 years ago (almost to the day too!), at that time I had attempted this one but as I was still a relatively new cacher I didn't know about UTM coords and thus didn't know what I was looking for at the wps.
Fast forward to today, older and wiser, we were having breakfast around the corner so I took the opportunity to reattempt this one.
At the wps, the coords were found very quickly (it helps when you know what to look for!) and the final was calculated. A short walk away and we were soon at GZ.
JDavs spotted something from above and I made the retrieval. All in good order and am happy to turn this into a smiley.

After dropping off my friend from Sydney at the Interstate Rail Bus stop at 3.45am this morning for his trip home, I decided to take advantage of no-one being around and parking options at this time of day.
Have been working my way through these Multi caches and now trying to get 31 Multi's in a month for a challenge, thought I would stop and work on this one.
5am and people are starting to move around but that didn't stop me searching for the info needed for this cache. I could locate the numbers at WP1 as I was not sure what I was looking for. Made a note in my notebook what the original cache coords where and then proceeded to WP2. Found some numbers but didn't really match what I was searching for. Methodically searched the shop front until I saw what I was after. Back to the first WP and searched everywhere after realising what the hint meant but finally I spied something down low.
That's the other piece of the puzzle. Sat down to work out the conversion and had some coords that seemed to work.
Managed to grab a loading bay park near to my GZ and began my search. Looked everywhere but no luck. 20mins later I MAF who couldn't remember the final location. MAF another finder who gave me a hint of the location but not where I was standing. Checked my coords and I was 140m out.
Made my way to the new GZ where I found the cache quickly. Near 2 hours to complete this multi.
On my return home, I tried the coords conversion and got the right numbers. Realised I was entering the first part of the WP1 and 2nd part of the original Coords I had written down just above my notes of the new WP numbers. Could have had this one an hour earlier.
Thanks EngPhil for the very interesting multi and very apt locations.

On a mission today with hatzofff and grannysmith1947 to find a few multi caches for a challenge we are working towards but are yet to qualify for. A nice quick and easy multi to do and a neat hide was found without too much effort.

Expecting the city area to be a little quieter today we ventured out for a few multies to try to qualify for another challenge.
Picked this one up fairly quickly. Only a few people in the shop and plenty of parking.

***** MILESTONE ALERT *****
TripleTurmoil and I finished our mammoth walk from the other side of the Story Bridge and stopped by Fortitude Valley to grab this Multi. I went one way and TripleTurmoil went the other in search of the clues we needed to get our final coords. I struggled to find what I was after as my GPS was jumping all over the place, so I had to PAF to help me locate what I was looking for, with the help I needed I was able to track down the numbers and made my way back towards the other waypoint to meet up with TripleTurmoil to put our numbers together and work out the finals. With that done we had a new set of numbers that put us a short stroll away.
We eventually arrived at GZ and had the cache in hand within a couple of minutes. With the log signed and the cache replaced, we continued on with our journey.

I need some more virtuals for a challenge cache. Nayfee said there are quite a few in the city. Ugh. I don't go to the city. It is in my too hard basket. But he convinced me to get a Go Card, catch a train and meet him there. So, I did. We walked 22.5km today. Oh my poor feet. We chased many ALs (sometimes around in circles and with back-tracking) and had to keep remembering to open the normal app to see what was around.
This was one in the series of multis that we were able to complete today.

I can’t find the clue at WP1. I found WP2 first and it was simple. Perhaps the clue isn’t hidden the same way here. I’ll do one more pass before I head back to the AL I’m working on this morning.
I finished work and headed into the valley to grab this one. I am looking at completing a challenge series of multis and this one fits the bill. This one is also part of a series of caches which I started a while back but didn’t complete as one part was missing a part.
I arrived at gz and found a nice parking spot very close by, off for a walk. I found the first clue with a thorough search, sneaky placement. I then moved onto WP2 and found the clue after moving some of the local fauna. With two parts collected I found a nice little area where I could sit and do some calculations. Armed with a new set of coordinates I headed over for the grab and it was a nice quick find. Oh a further piece to my other puzzle. With the log signed and cache replaced as found I was off home.
Thanks for caches and the puzzle, a nice quick and enjoyable one.

Caching with Triggerfish. This is not a straightforward cache for the uninitiated. It actually harkened to the days of old when anything could be a redirector. Brings back memories of a very long Multicache in Austin, TX named the Monster. A really neat spot caching has brought us to.
Thanks for the fun, EngPhil

Wandering around the valley I collected the info and made my way to GZ. Unfortunately I couldn’t find this one today, I felt I looked pretty well for the D/T rating Not my fav place in the world but will watch for hints in hopes of a quick find if I I’m ever back here again!
After a few years away from caching I have long lost the clues from this series. But I figure Seventh Heaven is not going to find itself! So I have been enjoying the process of retracing my steps. Today's outing was timed to military precision. The plan was to leave work between meetings, visit both Second Hand and Fourth Estate, photograph the clues with enough time to grab a bite to eat.
Thankfully I remember where GZ was for Second Hand, so it was a quick affair. A simple reach and grab and I was away. A bit like the establishment behind me, I would say.
Thanks for the cache and such an enjoyable series EngPhil!

Though Stairman1 and I managed to sort out the final for this series we still had this blot on our copybook. Luckily the CO confirmed we weren't blind and the cache was missing. So, cache was replaced , and as we were in the city chasing an Adventure Lad, we naturally were anxious to clean up this issue. At GZ the sucker was soon located and our names are now in the log. All is good in the world.(Well, the caching world at least.) Thanks EngPhil

Luckily this was towards the end of our odyssey as we came unstuck here. With two of us searching we still came up empty. Will keep watch here and come back to get that signature in the log. Cheers
Well this is the second visit here for me. Eight years apart but still the same result. Looking like I need to change my thinking here?

I love a good multi and I loved this one. I did it over 2 days as time was a factor. I work at Windsor so on my way home the first day I found a park in Alden street which allowed me half an hour. I did my research before I left and thought I would struggle but at first wp the hint led me to what I needed. Then the second wp was the same. I made it back to my car after only 15 minutes. it was mu lucky day. Then today I found a park around 170 metres away and at gz I looked and looked and looked and looked, not under stairs as stated . I then decided to just to use my geosenses and within a few minutes I had the cache in hand. clue noted. Thankyou for all the fun and im looking forward to finding the others in this series.
Replaced WP2 again. Someone really doesn’t like this little sticker.
Also confirmed that the cache itself is still in place.

Tuesday. I was hoping to finish off this series – I think we started it well over a year ago. Fast forward to today and whilst Mr SP was busy sorting out parents, I headed into town to collect some caches. I don’t think I could have mucked this one up more if I tried. I got what I thought were the right numbers from the hint at the first WP. Needed to wear glasses – the add for Spec Savers comes to mind. Second WP. Got the right label first off, but missed a number – another great ad for Spec Savers coming up. In the end, got it all sorted tickety-boo. Got the to the final destination and looked and looked. Couldn’t put my hand on anything, despite feeling all around. Read on the cache page about steps, so thought it must be over there.
In the end, resorted to a PAF. I was in the correct area originally so went back. By now, it was about 2 hours to get this one . Talk about an off day for a D1.5. I wasn’t leaving without the cache log signed though. I eventually found the container on the ground and half buried. Returned it to the spot where the previous finder said it should have been. Log signing duties signed, it was time for lunch at a really great little nearby café/restaurant! Clue obtained as well of course.
This was the 1st of 3 caches found on today's trip.
Thanks ***EngPhil***, for showing us this place.

Took a minute before I recognized the coords, but then I made my way quickly to the final. TFTC.
I am visiting Brisbane with work for three days, and today was my second day in the city. Today comprised of an event pre-work, and slip out during a break to find a cache, and then an evening of jogging around Fortitude Valley and across Story Bridge collecting a variety of caches. It was a great pleasure to go through EngPhil's numbered multi-cache series, as well as ticking off the virtual on the bridge.
I think I spent 5-10 min at Waypoint 1 looking for the coordinates. I had initially wondered if the CO's hint was old and saw some similar names to what was described. However, the hint was great and unique, and once seen, the first set of numbers was quickly located.
Similarly at Waypoint 2, I made the mistake of being on the wrong side of the street, once I saw my error, 190 was seen, and then shortly after, the next set of numbers.
Making the conversion from UTM wasn't too hard, but glad I was within Australia, and pitied those outside from Australia who may not have data to do this conversion on the fly.
A short walk later on to GZ, it was a cache that only took a minute to find. Typical cache container in a typical hiding spot. All in good condition, thanks EngPhil.

Two hints and tidbits of information were found on our bicycle ride through the valley today, which took us to a likely GZ. It was a few minutes of searching before we uncovered this one. We signed the log and gathered some more information to lead us to the final eventually in this series.

Oh dear
On my way I passed WP 2 first and found the clue w/o problem. WP 1 reveal itself only after a coffee break. Must have been blindeyed before!
I thought that with both clues it would be easy now. But I had to learn my lesson ....... All known converters wanted to guide me to unknown places but thanks to a WIFI connection I was able to unveil the wright coords after quite some research.
Finally at GZ there was only one object that matches the description and - yeah! there it was. Signed the logbook, saved the hint for heaven and left with a sigh.
Thanks for hiding and maintaining, this one will be remembered for a long time.

First visit recorded the needed info. Worked on locating the GZ then back for the search. Early Sunday morning and area quiet. Thorough search turned up a cache "it looks second hand".
Left mark and recorded the clue. This is the final before heading to heaven. My estimation of the whereabouts of heaven was sadly mistaken.

Today we found ourselves in the city and decided to spend the day completing a few of the multis we had been putting off and to complete a certain unknown cache. We started off quite early as we had a big day ahead of us, but fortunately things went relatively smoothly and we managed to complete the challenge we had set ourselves.
Initially, we found ourselves scratching our heads, trying to get the GPS to settle on a likely ground zero until Mrs Just a Trifle took a seat to re-read the cache description when finally, all became obvious Once we found the necessary information and did a quick calculation, we soon found ourselves at ground zero where we found the cache easily enough. With our name added to the log book, we continued on our way.
Thank you EngPhil for creating the cache and maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

This one took way too long. Like seriously it was a simple cache! I just couldn’t convert the coordinates. No matter how hard I tried.
Eventually however I got a set that looked promising. Off I trudged. On arrival it was a very quick find with the long being signed and clue taken.
Thanks for a great series. Thoroughly enjoyed them

Was in the valley briefly the other day, so took note of the clues to come home and decipher out exactly what utm means. After a good many different converters and combinations that weren't in russia or the pacific, i had something resembling my goal, a geochecker to the CO and with a thumbs up, all that was left was to brave the rain to claim a find.
Today saw me in the valley again with an express intent upon claiming number four in the series.
Thanks engphil for the good times.

Gosh this one took ages!! First we didn't realize that the waypoints were provided. Then we got the first one wrong. Then we couldn't find the cache but getting to higher ground helped us spot it. Thanks for the challenge!
Laminated clue is indeed missing (as is the pencil), however the clue is duplicated on the top of the logsheet.
I'll replace the clue ASAP.
(Also: WP2 went missing again. Was replaced just in time for the last finders, as it turns out.... Seems someone doesn't like my little sticker for some reason. )

What a glorious sunny day for some Caching. We are in the Brisbane area for a few days of Caching. A quick find was had with waypoints 1 & 2, but then we both thought WTF is a UTM. So we went and found a shady spot to sit, whilst we googled this issue. About 30 minutes later, we finally found a converter and soon had final GZ coordinates. A quick find was had a GZ, but it is missing the clue for Seventh Heaven
Visiting Brisbane for the day with Eskies5 to collect a few caches that were on our to do lists. This one caused a wee bit of frustration and with no luck we need to PAF to point us in the right direction for WP1. With that nudge, we made our way to WP2 and a quick calculation we had the final co-ords. At GZ we made a quick find to sign our names. TFTC EngPhil
Not on our list but picking up a multi is always good. WP1 caused us some problems...and we resorted to a PAF...another "can't see for looking" moment...I am sure I looked at that!!! Moving on we picked up WP2 with ease and soon found ourselves a cache. Thanks EngPhil.
I just arrived in Brisbane and checked into the hotel and decided to go for a walk and find a few caches. This one took awhile because I had to get a app to covert the numbers into coordinates. Then a quick find at GZ where I had previously walked past. Found at 10:30pm with no muggles around. TFTC

After striking out at Fourth Estate, I wandered down to WP2 and failed to find anything. I wandered over to WO1 and spotted the required info as a PAF got back to me on WP2. Back at WP2, I spotted it easily and wondered how I could have been so blind.
Worse was to come at GZ where I again needed a PAF although I shouldn't have really. I went and found First Aid and came back for a quick find.
Interestingly, at GZ, I found a set of coords on the back of a sign which point to Northbrook Creek. I'd love to know how they ended up there.

We were down the Valley to celebrate a birthday. Mrs RoddyC and I had individually tried this one before but came away empty: WPT had nothing there. So tonight with an extra set of eyes, it's time to revisit. The second part of the coordinates were in plain sight tonight, but we are both certain they were not in that position some twelve months ago!
So having only a mobile phone we tried converting to something more familiar, and off we went. After ten minutes or so of coming up blank, we decided to PAF as something was not quite right. It turns out we were about 6klm from the real GZ. That converter may be faulty.
Arriving at the true GZ it wasnt long before the cache was signed.
Found at 9.05pm on 3rd September 2016. TFTC.

This is now my fourth cache of this series after I did the other ones and tried this one last year in October. To my birthday we went to the city for a nice dinner and afterwards we decided to find this cache. This time not alone, we found the UTM coordinates but our converter didn't work proper so that we had a PAF. After that easy find.
Nikid1 & I were out & about on our usual caching Thursday, didn't have a lot of time today so didn't venture too far from home.
Well I had looked for this one previously in my caching infancy (well that's my excuse & I'm sticking to it...) but didn't really have any idea what UTM coordinates looked like, found some numbers that I thought might be it but after having a chat to the CO at an event one day I was not even close. We happened to be in the valley today looking at fourth estate & had just enough time to swing by this one before heading back home for school pick up. It helps being with a previous finder as well although how I missed the co-ords the first time around I really don't know!
Co-ords converted to numbers I"m much more familiar with & off we went on a fast walk to GZ. A nice quick find here, log signed, clue noted & cache replaced as found. It always amuses me when my caching buddy & I do caches separately & still end up with our names following each other in a log...

Great location! Lots of muggles so stealth is an absolut must. Didn't have a pen so we couldn't sign the log but we will come back and do that later, TFTC
Having obtained the answer a while ago today found the family and I waking right by GZ. Only a few people around but having kids helps with loitering in strange places. Cache quickly located and clue noted. Thanks for the multi EngPhil.
Had a wedding reception nearby. Got both the clues but the answer lay in the opposite direction to which we were heading. My daughter does love a restaurant near GZ so sounds like a good excuse to go out for dinner and find this one real soon.
After I managed to make the last in the series I needed into a DNF a couple of months back, I thought to fix that today. Knowing the location I got to last time, I thought I would just confirm with a previous finder that I was in the right spot and sure enough I was.
So I parked at the top of Kangaroo Point Cliffs (cheaper and easier to park then anywhere in valley or the city by far) and took a nice stroll across the bridge and into valley for some shopping before making a stop here on the way down to the city. I took a quick look in a couple of places while I had set my shopping down appearing to be on the phone and soon had the cache in hand this time, not sure how I missed it last time. I got it signed and a photo of the clue, before heading off to meet a friend for lunch.

Waypoint 2 has gone missing. As soon as I can find the tool required to replace it, it will be back
After getting the clues and getting muggled out on a previous day I dropped by after a family night. After hitting First Aid only minutes ago found this one real quick!
2/7 if Seventh Heaven done... so far to go! TFTC.

Found today. I had worked out the co-ords a week ago during one of my lunch breaks. Once I had converted the UTM numbers I was ready to go back for the final. Luckily there was no-one about at GZ except for a car or two looking for parking. When the coast was clear a quick search revealed the prize! TFTC EngPhil!
I collected the information and passed by once to find someone sitting at GZ, on the return, it turned out a different person was taking their time to get on their motorbike. So with the time on the meter for the car getting very close I had to leave this for another day.
Found tonight after a disastrous attempt last weekend. Already had 3 in the series and thought I'd knock the remaining 3 over then head to 7th Heaven. Found 4th Estate and 1st Degree and saved this one til last as it was trickier. Knew what I had to do but had to do it quickly before the phone went flat. Piece of cake. Punch in the numbers....Hmmm somewhere in the ocean NW of Papua New Guinea? Bugger, wrong numbers...phone dies. (Guess who now owns a portable power bank ) I didn't need this clue as I had the other 5 and a pretty good idea where 7th Heaven was - but where is the fun in that? Off to 7th Heaven feeling pretty chuffed. TFTC. It's been a challenge

Kitti Kati and I in Australia - Day 8:
Today we arrived in Brisbane and after the check-in we were hungry and so we looked around and searched for something to eat.
We ended up in China Town and we found some yummy Vietnamese food.
Afterwards we strolled through Chinatown and decided to do some geocaching. We also came along at this cache but my tool on the smartphone converted the coordinates false. Back on the hotel I converted the coordinates on the internet and this time I had better coordinates.
After a nice night in Chinatown we decided to make a small detour to the final location. At the proper place it was a quick find.
TFTC and greetings from Germany

After doing all the rest months ago we struggled to get back to this without muggles being about. Today after a day of climbing at local centre I popped over and finally signed the log. TFTC
With a walk around the Valley, picked up the clues and found this multi quickly. Noted the clue for seventh heaven. TFTC EngPhil
A day caching in the city with Stortifreddo (Paul) - the second in the series - thoroughly enjoying doing them. Cache was found and onto the next. TFTC
Second in the series found on our city caching day today. We did what we had to do and soon had the numbers we required. Second clue noted and container returned. Tftc
Had worked out GZ many months ago; however each time I arrived at GZ I was hindered by muggles (including nearish midnight).
Decided to take a late lunch break and have another attempt. Thankfully no muggles around this time.
Quickly signed and returned as found.
Will try crack First Aid next.

Very happy we eventually found this one or it would have kept me awake all night!
Co ords found easily enough after pointing the 2nd ones out to matt and he still stood and stared at them for a while before saying oh yeh they must be. Duh. Off to gz. Were not familiar with this type of co ords so let google maps do the navigating (big mistake) took us to the wrong set of steps. We hunted thinking this area is disgusting why would u place a cache here. Then realised after lots of rejigging the co ords that we were off slightly. Found in the first place we looked. All usual. Tftc

well this was fun. the first part of the co-ords was soon found but the second part took us a little longer. until i spotted it derrrr. off to gz we went, had no luck in the first place we looked so moved to another smelly place and wasnt there either. hmm was soon gonna give up when we had a second look at the first place we looked and soon had the cache in hand woooop. to finish off finding this cache our pen decided it didnt want to work on the paper so popped into near by shop to borrow one took a while as the lady behind the counter had no idea what i was saying to her. but she eventually got what i ment sighed log and but back tftc
Yeeewww! Out last night with newbie Skye.Dee showing her the ropes. A few drinks later we decide on this cache. What is this evil called UTM?!?! Well after much pondering and googling we struck out and headed back to base. Still brooding over it l finally struck gold. Up early and off to GZ. A bit of looking around but soon settled on a usual place. TFTC. Cool mural. Cheers.
Tftc. A bit tricky at the gz after consolidating and converting the coordinates. A few muggles and alot of scooters parked had us showing stealth before after taking several photos of the area it became clear. Recovered And returned. A cool theme to this one as we love to op shop. Fav point fir this and for the location also.
Tada. Found it at last.
The first time I had a look for this I made two mistakes. Firstly I didn't read the description properly so was looking for the wrong information. Secondly I was too cautious about looking dodgy late at night in the Valley.
Yes that may seem a little odd, but there is a certain sort of looking dodgy in the Valley which is the norm and a certain sort of looking dodgy that you feel might get you beat up. Actually most of the Valley denizens are gentle, peace loving folk, but when I was there the first time there was a group standing near the first way point that didn't look entirely gruntled....
Well I was back this morning. I have a gig in the city at the moment so I stayed on the train for the extra stop so I could make this my walk into work cache for this morning. Being daylight I made decided I could go full 'look dodgy' and I stared at way too many things before spotting the clue. The taxi drivers did give me some odd looks, but I survived the search.
A quick saunter down to WP2 and I made quick work of locating the second part of the puzzle. I had seen this before, but as I mentioned I had had an epic fail in terms of actually reading the cache description (yes remember folks always read the description, especially for multis or particularly nasty RegEx puzzles [:0]).
Numbers in hand I found a stoop to sit in while converting UTM to something more familiar. Check the map and excellent, I get to lurk down some back streets for GZ. Once I had lurked to the right spot I soon had the cache in hand and was happy to finally clinch the last clue for Heaven.
Thanks for another great cache Phil!

Not familiar with UTM and had to use a conversion website, enter a known coordinate to see roughly which number went where... And then it was an easy, fast find. Now a third of the way to seventh Heaven with a dead phone...
Today I was in Chinatown because of the organized events for Chinese New Year, very nice. Afterwards I looked for a couple of cachers, including this one. I think I found both clues; will have a look at them from home and come back to it later.
First find for the day. Sneaky little UTMs. Easy to spot way points which would be a plus for muggle occupied times. But Sunday morning at 7am, seem to be when everyone in this area would be nursing sore heads.

Having seen the CO at a local catch up, I mentioned I needed to find this one. I had solved this a while ago and attempted to find it too before - only to be muggled out before I could do a proper look. Today I decided to get this one today for my daily find. TFTC EngPhil
