Hi bumandworker
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.

There are a limited number of places this cache could be hidden, and I'm sure I checked them all. I'm thinking this one is gone.
Found this one with Steve and aniseeder. A council man was working nearby. The cache was lying in the open but have placed it where it was most likely to have been. Within a metre of where it was lying. Log was sodden and unsignable but I have photo proof if required. Thanks for the hide.

Last one on this little drive...cache soon in hand but log is wet so I wasn't cake to sign it. Tftc
A quick find while passing by. Cache was out in the open. Signed and replaced under the small rock that was right beside.
Thanks for another B&W cache.
Thanks for another B&W cache.
A quick find as cache was a wee bit exposed but SJT_NZ spied the trusty rock near by so once logged back under its regular rock, TFTC log was a little damp but writable.
Another nice spot , no problems with cache then time to take geomutt for a swim Thanx4tc
Today I was out and about working and had the time to catch up on a few outstanding caches, so it was over the hill for a second time in two days. Found this one out in the open away from its obvious hide location, so completed the paper work and re-hid appropriately. TFTC bumandworker.
No problems spotting this one. Hidden where easy to find but still hidden from others. Thanks for the cache.
Nice well tended track and a much easier retrieval than we expected. TFTC.
We would never have looked down here if it were not for geocaching, looks like an okay spot to bring the wee grandkids to for a swim once things warm up tftc
A lot of blackberry, gorse and mud. Looks like this area hasn't been touched for a while. No doubt it will get a cleanup closer to summer.
In Richmond for a wee family holiday. Mr TG grew up here; staying with family.
Another hot day; spent the morning at Rabbit Island and then this afternoon headed up the Aniseed Valley for a swim in the river. Couple cars parked up but occupants down floundering in the river so easy enough to make the quick find and sign. Cheers.

#10365. Last time we were came up the valley this cache was AWOL, and the cache was replaced not long after. We decided parking looked better on the way back. I was lagging behind (changing batteries) and Troodles had already found the cache once I got to GZ. Then the sandflies found us...time to go. TFTC.
We stopped by on the way back after a walk up to the dam. After spending a while here on our last visit (when the cache was AWOL), it was great to have an instant find today. Hurriedly did the paperwork as the sandlfies were out in force. Thanks for replacing and TFTC.
Another day trip into the Nelson region with the Aniseed Valley trip through to Hackett Track top of my list of must do caching days, for now. Backed up with a trip to the Grampians up to the Lookout it had all the ingredients of a successful days caching; 2 Earthcaches, a few puzzles, 2 possible new D/T combos to try and advance the grid filling a bit more, and a smattering of Traditionals to keep the numbers ticking along nicely. Back in the co-pilots seat was the Seagnoid also hoping for a couple of unique D/T combos, we'll see later if he was successful or not. A nice early 0700 start as we've lost a bit of evening light already so making the most of daylight hours when they are about.
First b&w cache of the day and another good hide as always. Now to head deeper along the valley.

[green] On a geocaching road trip with capperz, except that we spent most of the time walking . I love going bush!
But first we had to get there, so a few caches along the way, like this one. Long grass, early morning, dew. Feet getting wet. Yup. That's setting the standard for the day!

With no hint, it was just the GPS and I alone to find this one.
Fortunately the coords are spot on and with a nose in a likely bush, I was able to spot a little container just poking its head out.
Thanks

After a DNF on my last attempt, pleased to report a nice easy find today. Thanks BW
No joy didn't want to poke around too much in a tree where we saw a dried up poo, I guess it could have been there but...
Nice fairly quick find at this location.
Noted that the last "finder" did not actually find or sign the log

On a geocaching holiday with tmann421 seeking out caches at the top of the South Island. Thanks to all the CO's for making this such a memorable trip.
Another good hide here.

For the sake of sanity we set off with sonia26642 for a crazy geocaching trip, aiming to cache until we drop. The main destination was Nelson and the ‘surrounding’ area, but then we ended up covering a few miles in three northernmost regions, plus a few in Canterbury. We were signing/stamping the log as 'Team Polak' or ‘TP’ for the two of us on this trip to save logbook space. We found a lot of different caches, city ones, road side, park side, up a hill and on an island, and we enjoyed every single one of them. It was good to be a professional thingfinder for a few days!
We had great fun and are grateful to all CO’s who placed caches for us to find, and help restore our sanity before returning to our other non-geocaching lives!!

Had a pretty good look around but nothing. Not sure about the title, couldn't find any rhodies, quite a few hebes though.
Judging by the height of the debris in the shrubs, the river has been very high through here and if the cache was on the river side of the lower road, there is a possibility it was washed away.
We didn't search the flaxes, as we hoped cache was not hidden there.

Had a quick attempt on the way to meet a friend at the Hacket carpark. Stopped again on the way back but pretty tired after our long walk so didnt have a thorough look. I will be back
I jumped out of the car and gave the old spots a check from last time. Err, then looked at the GPS and saw I was 35m away. Spent a while hunting and searching and finally got success, glad to see this DNF gone. Cheers
Like previous cachers, had some trouble with a wondering GPS, but I new B & W would place it above the flood line and it was soon in hand. A great end to a day assisting StickmanNZ further up the valley, TFTC.
An easy find once we were looking the the right location. JNYMAK found it in the end. TFTC
At GZ the only approach to finding this cache was slow and meticulous. It turned out all good although Holymu's lost glasses were a DNF. TFTC
Returning from the Hackett we found the access with no problems. A wider hunt was needed when the GPS wouldn't zero out anywhere but in the middle of the track. Hazedarus eventually found the cache and it was when I went to sign the log that I discovered my older trusty glasses were no longer attached to me. We had a bit of a hunt for them but decided it was meant to be so now I am forced to wear my newer ones which is what I should have been doing for some time. Oh well ... TFTC.
Searched for a while, and then totally out of the blue, a freak storm came through, crazy wind, rain and hail!! We ran back to the car and in about 2minutes it was over and the blue sky came back out.. very crazy! But sadly a DNF
A short trip up the valley today, not the best weather wise but generally able to make our finds between showers. Nice hide.

OK got it this time! Still took some time for the satellites to get me in the right location but once there I can confirm that the coords were spot on.

Checked, and coords had me within 3m of cache. That is good enough going by other caches we have done. Cache still there.
Oh dear, no luck, very icy and cold here, so half an hour's hunting flax bushes wasn't fun.
Hmm. GPS sat links were not that flash the day cache was replaced, how ever, cache site is very visible from right direction, and not IN a flax bush. Will check coords next time passing. b&w

I'll add my name to list of DNFs. Seems the river has got very high sometime in the recent past.
Spent 10 minutes looking around all the obvious (and not so obvious) spots but no joy here. Next time eh? Cheers
Exploring Aniseed Valley and did a couple of caches too. Looks as if there could be a nice (and very deep) swimming hole here. TFTC and taking us here.
This certainly is a well looked after little reserve. Interesting the way the TDC is looking after bits of land like this. Must remember this good swimming hole. Thanks for bringing us here.
Enjoying my time in sunny Nelson, picked up some stuff for the house as well.

A quick cache in the rain to meet the MsGC requirements. I'll have to come back and check out the river access in the Spring. The TDC crew are doing a good job here.

Nice quick park and grab, although we didn't realise we could actually drive down to the cache Cheers Gav [7697]
Last for our day and was a nice evening drive to the cache and a quick grab of the cache after a muggle power walked past on the road - then as we hadn't stopped here before took the time to look at the swimming hole which looks like a good one - is a nice we place - thanks for bringing us here signed log
A great Park and Grab even if GPS took for me for a little wander to come back to where i had been before Other than the short delay a quick grab after a muggle strolled by and a smiley to add to the list TFTC. Looks like this might be a busy swimming hole during the hot summer holidays
Love this valley. A nice break to boil the billy on the way home from a liesurely Beanso tramble up to the falls. TFTC
Very nice spot. Not so peaceful this evening though with the chainsaw next door. TFTC #1909
Grabbed this on the way through - there were some people in the river with their car parked near the cache, but I was in and out before they could blink. TFTC
Van parked nearby made searching a bit difficult but we returned to an empty area and no problems later. Lovely spot - we enjoyed sitting by the water and throwing stones. Took nothing Left coin that wants to go to Christchurch. Thanks
The rain had stopped at home so I thought a walk to the Hackett with Ellie might be an option. Still pouring up this way so just stopped here a short run around instead. River well in flood today. TFTC
I hadn't been to this spot on the river before. Nice one. Some kids were cooling off across the river while I found the cache. TFTC, Biggles.
Nice One!!!!!!!!! Great location for a cache. Co-ordinates spot on for an easy find for Grandson Bryn. Nearby would be a great spot a swim and swing. We spent some time skipping rocks across a little man made "lake". Much fun! Thanks
