Logs
Log was soaked....something I guess happens around Denver...and no way I could write on it.
Might need to check it mondou2.....Thanks for the fun....

In Denver for a couple of days before heading home to Australia. Headed out this side of the airport to grab what caches I could. The overnight snow falls made life interesting, but it good to have a go in the snow.
Found most I went for, the others, I just though the snow might have covered then too much.
All up a good way to spend a few hours. Many thanks to all CO's, and greetings from Australia.....

Geocaching with my niece as a reward for a good first quarter report card. Grabbed as many as we could before the Broncos game. Thanks for all the hides.
Other than the first travel day with blowing dust and 70 MPH winds followed by torrential rain, the caching weather was just great. Thanks to all the CO's for the great variety of hides and all the time and effort to keep them serviced. TFTC
Out visiting and caching with Amulek. Logged in as ODL. Thanks for the hides
Out caching the Denver area today. Some favorites and some DNF's. All in all a great day. Thanks for placing this cache.

I decided to stop for a few geocaches on my way home from an autocross at Front Range Airport today. I found 7 for 7, and enjoyed being out here with a nice wind and the suggestion of a storm in the distance. Thanks to all (and mostly Mondo, as it happens) for the hides.
First cache owners, I apologize for the cut and paste, but I'm logging 600 caches, and try as I can, I just can't remember them all. Although I will write something specific as I can.
I enjoyed being able to take the time to read the cache page as I log these. Very informative. Thanks.
To the tune of Gilligan's Island
Just sit right back
And you'll hear a tale
A tale of a caching trip.
That started with an airplane trip.
Across the great Midwest
The goal was quality caches
Across the great midwest
Four caching friends set out one day
For ten caching days,
For ten caching days.
The airplane landed in Denver
The caching crew were stoked.
If not for the planning of Nick and Jeff
We might have slept too much
We might have slept too much
The group had lots of goals
And lots of miles to drive.
With wherigos
Letter boxes
Some virtuals
And webcams
Traditionals
Some multis and earth caches
All during this great trip.
Included in this caching trip
Were lots of counties and states
And Cache Across America
And old ones as we could.
We worked on many challenges
We cached all through the night.
To make sure all our goals were met
We slept and ate while in the car.
No kids, no work, no comfy beds
Well sleep when we get home.
Like addicted cachers
We explored our great country.
So thanks to all the cache owners
For hiding these to find
From catchers from Jacksonville.
We appreciate your hides.

The 2nd of only 3 caches found on Day 0 of an 8-day road trip through the Midwest with my trusty team of fellow Seekers: inxtricablfate, -HellFire-, and memomls. Flew into Denver, Colorado from Jacksonville, Fl to get our adventure into gear for the 4300 miles ahead, hunting Cache Across America hides, state’s oldest caches, every county/DeLorme page we touched, most non-traditionals (with an emphasis on virtuals and earthcaches), and any other interesting things we could find along the way. Our loop extended through Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Minnesota, Wisconsin, South Dakota, North Dakota, Manitoba CA, Saskatchewan CA, Montana, Nebraska, Wyoming, and most of the outlying areas around Denver. You probably already knew this (or not), but there’s not a whole lot going on out here just before Midnight, even being a Friday night. Made for a nice quiet GZ to pick up the find without any muggles looking over our shoulders …or any lights to see by [:p]… Thanksmondou2 for putting out this cache for us to enjoy during the course of our road trip !
Midwest Road Trip - Day 0
We (magtfplanner, -Hellfire-, memomls, and I) are now officially underway on our 4300 mile tour of the Midwest!
On this trip we passed through 11 states and 2 Canadian Provinces (Our loop extended through Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Minnesota, Wisconsin, South Dakota, North Dakota, Manitoba CA, Saskatchewan CA, Montana, Nebraska, Wyoming, and most of the outlying areas around Denver). We found a cache in every county (117!) and Delorme Page we passed through. In these 11 states we managed to find 8 Cache Across America caches and the oldest active cache in Missouri, Manitoba, and Kansas (which is also the oldest in the Universe ).
As -Hellfire- pointed out, we found 2 Wherigos, 6 Webcams, 7 Multis, 23 Letterboxes, 28 Earthcaches, 44 Virtuals, 88 blue squigglies, and 395 Traditionals to total 593 caches in 9 days (really 8 days and 8 hours)! So you can wrap your head around the shear magnitude, we averaged over 500 miles a day and about 70 caches a day [8)].
This trip brought us to so many cool places, many of which most people will never see in their lives (and they won't even know what they are missing). Geocaching as a whole can take you to some of the coolest, most obscure places in the world. Of course, this trip is just a whirlwind trip; there is only so much you can really see in 8 days, right?

the last day in Denver, flying home tonite after 2 weeks, N.P visit, thanks for all the caches
Arrived here around 1 in the morning and that seemed silly to pay 100 dollars for a room for a few hours so we slept in the car. Visiting the area with my sister Rockylobster who lives in KY and I live in ME. I am out here to get caches in ten states. Today we saw a deer skunk and a few praire dogs drove a little over 400 miles and grabed 75 caches and had a few DNF. We were able to get three states today. Beautiful weather, and country side. Thanks for placing your cache.
Day 3 back in Denver, I decided to cruise around and pick up "just a few" more on my way back to the airport before flying home. Mahalo for the fun hide along my route! TNLN/SL TFTC!!
Another very quick find while working our way along Colfax finding smileys with the Golden B's! We also were thrilled to find an additional surprise nearby for another little game we play! Sort of a twofer!!! Thanks for adding to our day today and for the history lesson! TFTC
We found this quick cache and dash with Chihuahuas-3 today while caching alongside Colfax Avenue. We also found another type of find nearby. Thanks again for the cache and the history!
