V good clue and very sure I was on the mark. Had a good look but no luck - strongly suspect cache is lost (maybe muggled). Anyhoo, near end of the day and finally gave up after stepping in dog poo (watch out for that folks!).
Enjoying a bike ride out to the end of the trail, nice quick find here with very few muggles around, TFTC
On a work trip down from Auckland with plant and food research. Quickly ducked out to find the two caches along the walk. TFTC
It is my last full day in Nelson so I left the Tahuna Holiday Park with the aim of finding the last of the closest trads and then making my way North up the Rocks Rd towards the Nelson CBD.Very breezy out here at noon. Many small fishing dinghies were making there way past heading for the safety of the marina after a morning's fishing. I wondered how many fish they each had on board.
What a Lovely place to sit.Had to mull a while as a elderly gentleman with his walker and friend slowly walked by .Quick find thanks.
Here today with Net61 and Jag50.
Took longer than it should have.
Had to pause when an older gentleman walked slowly past with his companion.

Good to get out of the SUV and go for a walk in the refreshing evening air. Great sunset tonight.
Back to caching in the city -so different to caching in the countryside. We are starting to think about dinner, but decide to cache for a wee while longer.
In Nelson with TwigNZ, YetiNZ, Mr-Mcgoo for a few days of caching and meeting up with other cachers from Nelson. All logs signed as NMTY and apologies for the late log.
Kia ora rawa atu for the cache bumandworker.

Day 3 of my Nelson trip, along with NZ_B, YetiNZ and Mr-Mcgoo. This is something we planned a while back and have very much been looking forward to
During our time here, all found caches were signed as NMTY (regardless of whether 2, 3 or all 4 of us hadn't found it previously), or with individual names for Challenge Caches according to whomever was claiming the find.
Last night we had planned out our day to start near the top of Boulder Bank and work our way back towards Nelson. The only problem was the sudden publication of 4 new Caches, and what with New Zealand's foremost FTF addict amongst our number, we had a bit of a debate as to whether we would stick with Plan A or switch to a mad-dash Plan B. Plan A won out so here we are.
It's now getting late in the afternoon and thoughts of food are starting to creep into our caching, so we compromised by heading into Nelson CBD to grab a few caches before we go and check out some eateries. The port area seemed like a sensible place to get a few more caches under our belt.
A quick and easy find for those of us who hadn't been here before. No issues to report with the cache or log so everything was replaced exactly as found after signing.
Beautiful time of the day for a visit too
Thanks for setting this one up.

Some time ago a group of us from Wellington decided that what we should do is come down to the Nelson region for a long weekend of Geocaching. So we did. With minimal specific agendas, and lots of unfound caches in the area, the goal for this four day break is exploring, having fun, and finding geocaches. Here is one we found.
This was day three, and another fifty plus day that had us focusing around Nelson town, starting at the northern end and working our way south.
The log was signed as NuMpTY (or NMTY) for NZ_B, Mr-Mcgoo, TwigNZ, & YetiNZ

Thanks to bumandworker for placing and maintaining this cache. I enjoy each and every cache I find, and it is only with CO's like this placing them out in the world that this wonderful game continues.
[DGSc-Bulk] tagging to help me generate a list for GC30AD8 - DGSc Challenge.

(# 7917) A caching trip to Nelson with NZ_B, TwigNZ and YetiNZ. Day 3 of a 4 day trip interspersed with exploring and humour. A quick find.

Nice morning out to catch some caches. This was one of them, pretty quick find, tftc!
Log was sodden and started to tear as I pulled it out. Have put a new bag and log in
Quick find. Lived in NSN 20+ yrs but never been down here before so it was worth a visit. Not the most sophisticated cache, log a little damp. TFTC. Cheers.
I headed here hoping to be able to loop around after picking up the geotour cache, but soon realized I'd have to double back.
At least I managed to pick up another cache.
Thanks for setting this up for me to find

Was a quick find, nestled, where I didn"t think it would be. Log saturated so used a piece of local litter that might keep it going for a month or two. Tftc
I expected the cache to be closer to another fixture, but no! I went to the right place and found the cache quickly. The log is TWTS. TFTC.
Started off our morning with this cache, hopefully one of five for the morning, with two boisterous young boys in tow. Found it relatively easily with the help of the hint. A few people out walking so took time to have snacks on the seat in between muggles. TFTC
In the South Island from Tauranga on a six week holiday and now following the PWGT. I have now completed the Geo tour and now have time to grab a few others on our travels. Nice walk along here today.
I am logging using the Cachly app template so please excuse generic logging along the way. It’s just my way of keeping track, but I do genuinely thank each and every one of you cache owners for taking the time and energy to place these caches. Many Thanks for bringing me here. Cheers.

My phone wanted to put me on the wrong side of the fence. Once worked that out it was a quick find thanks to an excellent description TFTC.
Located with Ricardinho
A very wet & wild day so cache numbers were at the bare minimum, just 5 today.
A yummy lunch at Kim Chi & a bit of an explore around town.

I think I have been here before, but I remember a bit more vegetation. It could have been somewhere else though. But if I remember right it was a busy little spot here on that day, long time ago, and too muggly for me to go searching. Quick find today because the weather is miserable and we are the only mugs out here. Nice to tick off though, view was not great because of the weather but it is a nice spot. TFTC B&W.
Not a great day for caching today as it’s pretty wet, but I am working on a project so had to find the self-imposed bare minimum of 5 anyway. So we popped into town for lunch and a few other things and swung by a few on the way out and back. Any further comments are above. Thanks all COs.

I had come out this way to find the GeoTour cache & decided to amble on to this one, too.
A pleasant Easter Sunday evening with a few folks fishing and doing various other things.
Thanks for this cache, b&w.

Found with NZDi. It has been a bit of a s#&t week to tell you the truth with my Mother passing last Wednesday. We are back in town today to tidy up the last of her affairs and with that out of the way we have time for a bit of geocaching late this afternoon as a distraction to what has been going on in our lives. Tomorrow we head across to Golden Bay to meet up with our son and daughter and their families for a long planned and well earnt holiday.
This was a QEF SWaG (Short Walk and Grab) and a c;lassic B7W find.

#8501. I had a work trip up at Takaka this week so came over earlier to give a me a chance to pick up a few geocaches in the Nelson area. Today I am driving to Takaka but I am not due there until 3pm so stopped to pick up some caches on the way. This was one of them. It was not too busy around here on a sunny Monday morning. I initially thought I could get closer to GZ by driving but soon found that was a mistake. Parked back down the road and located the path. Short stroll and I was at GZ. Found the cache and sat down on the seat. Signed the log and replaced the cache where found. I used to live in a flat not far from the marina about 35 years ago. This place has changed a bit over time. Thanks bumandworker for the cache.
No luck with the one on the other corner. But I dont have this one so walked up here to get this one snagged and tagged . Cheers
Its another weekend exploring Nelson and Tasman with The Seagnoid, Toby and Zara. Early start out of Blenheim getting to Nelson by 8am. Had a great weekend picking up a couple of Labs, even a new one on our way home in Havelock.

Almost at the end of Akersten Street, I took the road to the left up to the end. Close to GZ , but not to access the cache from here. So back and around from the other side to then make a quick find. I had the container in hand just before a woman came walking down with her morning coffee - so I had to wait a bit before returning it.
A good place and for a cache too.
Put a new log sheet in.

I've found motorbikes, cars, burnt out cars, bikes, a punching bag, s*x toys, money and lots more stuff but I have never found a golf driver. That is, until today. A few moments later I found the cache. The log is slime and needs replacement of which I have no spares left. Thanks bumandworker ... a nice day to be out here, especially with my new golf club.
Found, log mostly full and too wet to sign. Have been at a function at the cruising club so thought I shld get this one. TFTC
Good view. Getting a couple of caches in area to up my finds for the day. Didnt spot at first but the co-ords were pretty good and located. TFTC
Out of DUNEDIN and headed to Nelson for a week. On a mission to tick off our 2000th cache on this trip.
Decided to spend the afternoon on Rabbit Island cycling around and caching as we go.
Very wet log. Did my best to sign but pen didn’t work well owing to wet log.
Almost there, this is find number 1979!

No one around on this lovely morning with still water and sunshine, left temporary log as cache appears to be missing. T4tc
Lunch date with SJT_NZ and some sneaky caches which often have too many muggles around, today was good and all in good order.
Another beautiful day in Nelson and suggested to Tregearp who was back at work that we should catch up and have lunch on the waterfront whilst grabbing a couple of illusive caches. We managed two of three - the third had just too much muggle activity and is saved for another day.
All in good order, signed log and replaced as found. Thanks for another B&W cache.

A quick and easy find. The beginning of the walk was too busy so missed that hide. Thanks
Having a wee break up in Nelson. Today we drove not too far away from the middle of town, had some good walks and had lovely fine weather. Those we found together were signed Ms+Mr KR.
Thanks to the CO's for placing and maintaining these caches. Cheers.

On our South Island road trip to Dunedin, heading back north now and staying in Nelson for the day. Grabbing a few caches. Came out here for a bit of quiet. Quite a quick find after reading a few logs. Cache all good and where it should be. TFTC.
Down in Nelson for a 10 day holiday and one of our annual big treks in the wilderness somewhere in NZ. A nice walk down here to locate the cache.
Had a good hunt around as had the place all to ourselves. Found the cache - that's not a bison and opened it up. It was all wet. Compared the log to what I had on GPS then sent Andy off for another look. Soon he came back with another cache - a bison tube, with a nice new log inside. So we found both old and new caches. Replaced both back at site of new one. tftc
