I have had my eye on this cache for a while, first time I found the empty cache container lying on the ground way off the co-ords (on the golf coarse pure luck). Next visit found the same container lying on the ground at what could be the GZ still wasn't sure. Today I went back as someone had logged a find and there it is the same container, likely in it's rightful place still no log inside, like the previous log I have taken a photo and have decided to log as a find. Cool hide great container. TFTH
Took photo of cache no log book
A nice spot for a cache early Saturday morning, lovely day - blue sky - love Spring

Eventually found it on a wet cold old day. We all got thoroughly soaked trying to get through the native bush to the GPS location. Didn't fill in the log, fingers wouldn't work properly!
Max out the car heater please.

Nice reserve to visit on way home and look through while finding a cache. TFTC SL
Found it after a bit of bush bashing. The water here is on the Lincoln water supply so should be drinkable.
Chasing my tail a bit, lots of stumps then theroamingreliever spotted the big stump tftc
Not the right cache to turn up on a bike! Walking around in cycle shoes not ideal.
Awesome spot and another we will need to visit with family. Had to avoid the working bee but quick find with the hint.

So, since Cats & Dragons was down for a couple days, we arranged to meet up for a spout of caching! I said that I was cool to go anywhere, as long as it was outside the Chch sort of city limits, so that I could keep enough for one a day the rest of the time to keep my streak going!
Apparently I got to choose therefore, and I decided that Lincoln seemed like a good idea! I had never been caching out this way before!!
This was the 24th cache of the 26 we found today.
After DNFing the other nearby one, we came here...
Initially thought coming straight off the road would work... nope. Not in the rain.
So tried to come out and down the propper way.
FInding the cache was tough. Heaps of hint like locations... but no luck... And heaps of bush bashing in the dark was required...stink! Haha. Got it eventually!!
TFTC!!

Headed out here with Sonia26642 as we hadn't seen each other for a while (since Auckland), she was director of ceramonies while I was the driver, this was the start of a most memorable evening in the wind and rain before I headed north again tomorrow.
We eventually came up with the goods, am sure that this would have been easier in the light of day rather than the rain and wind that we were caching in,
Between having the long and short of it I think we had pretty much all the height aspect of caching hides covered.

Didn't find it in the place that matched the clue, more like beside a mature tree.
1st time out geocaching and found this after lots of looking with treasureunters!
Many places matched the clue but we got it eventually.

Number 9 for the day. Lots of spots meet the clue but we got!

Looks like there's been a bit of weeding going on around the cache site, but it's still there, safe and sound.
Found after about 10 minutes of looking. Spent the whole time hoping like hell the irrigation system wasn't going to suddenly start up on me. TFTC
Found it, place was very over growen, so had to do a bit of scrambling to get there.

Headed out this way to try and grab a few of the newer blue questions marks in the mighty metropolis of Lincoln. Unfortunately, was muggled on one and the other was out of action. So make lemonade when there are lemons. So I took this opportunity to come and grab this cache in a cool wee spot. I first approached from the road and decided to walk down the path. That was the right decision. The cache was to hand quickly and I happily signed the log. Thanks for bringing me here to this secluded spot, lovely. Thanks for the cache.

Today I made a trip out to Levy's Saddle via Prebbleton & Lincoln where I finally found a cache in the Mahoe Reserve.

The 8th of 12 finds today, a daily record for us, on a trip to Lincoln. TFTC. #167
Had a good look, but no joy. Hint wasn't much use, as the qps wasn't being terribly accurate. Found something exactly like a clever cache we had found once before, but with no logbook inside. When we read the infoboards at the entrance, we realised it was probably a gecko house.

Chose not to go the direct route for once! Very pleasant gardens, wonder how long it will be before a cacher gets caught out by the sprinkler system. Nice sized cache container. TFTC

Quick find in a small reserve with no muggles on sight TFTC.

Great reserve area, definitely changed since i went to Lincoln High back in the late 80's Almost mistook a trap for the cache to start with !! TFTC. Out with my son and Graemey from UK
Found with Richbritty, Ben with graemey from UK.Nearly got caught out by the baited trap by eventually found it without to much difficulty. TFTC. Nice Hide.
Back into it after a month off. Had a school event in Lincoln after the 12-12-12 event, then still light enough for some others.
Those with shorts - be ware of stinging nettle as you approach GZ.
Thanks

Nice park with lots of potential going on. Had a great day out with friends thanks.
656 - I was out chasing the 12-12-12 caches today and felt it would be rude not to pick this up as I was passing. What a cool reserve! Dare I admit I checked GZ three times before I found it on the fourth pass. Blame it on tiredness... I am... lol. I was thrilled to have found it because I was starting to think it was going to be a DNF. I went for a walk around the reserve and read some of the signs by the plants. Very nice spot.
A really nice place to visit. What a wonderful idea. Took a little searching to find just the right place but that made it all the more fun. RogoWiz beat RogoBaby and Yorkshire P to find the final spot.

Bunked off work for a 10 minute stroll to find this one. Students are on study leave so no chance of finding a student bunking or smoking.
Wonderful day. Got a bit wet from the irrigation but found it. TN left a Canada pin. Thanks. No pencil in cache.
Nice area cache was located easy enough only thing the sprinklers were on so got a bit wet getting it.

That one took a lot longer than it should've. GPS was all over the show for some unknown reason. In the end I found it only a few meters from where I had left the geo-mobile, after walking all around the park. Next time I'll trust my geo-instinct over the gadgetry. TFTC.
#433 First day on the job in Lincoln and had a dot day to be filled. Sliding down the hill in dress boots was ummmm... interesting - harder than finding the cache. I then said some naughty words when I got back to the car to find I had dropped the GPS and had to go slip - sliding - away down the hill again. GPS located half under the cache concelment. Interesting area and a credit to the Lincoln High students.
Quick easy find in a nice spot, almost muggled by school kids who had kicked the ball over the road but threw it back to them without raising any issues. Thanks for the hide.
Third cache of the day with Team Hot PJ. The clue wasn't as helpful as it first appeared, due to many similar scenarios! But Team Hot PJ were soon victorious, at least at first glance. But it turns out that while the clever concealment is in place, the cache itself is missing. Team Hot PJ has logged a maintenance request.
Did this one while visiting some muggle friends in a neighbouring house. Might even have convinced them they should take up caching on a regular basis. The girls were into it, it was them that found the cache and they didn't even need a hint. Awesome spring day. TNLN Thanks.
Stumbled on the end of a working bee (of two). The reserve is a credit to the community! TFTC
Our final find as the clouds grew dark and more ominous, making it back to the car just before the rain began to fall, thanks!
We were unlucky last time as the co-ordinates had been changed the day we looked - so we were wasting our time in what should have been an easy cache Today it was LGM
Found it, nice we park, been here before but this time the place is in much better condition.
TFTC.

Found it, looked at the hint and you mentioned a stump, take a look around there are 100's of them lol, Thanks,
Nice use for what I assume was an old gravel pit, similar to the one in Prebbleton. Cheers.
Found this easily under the noses of some locals doing a spot of weeding! What a job keeping this lovely reserve in a tidy state.
My final find for the day. I approached this one all wrong. Once I had sorted how to approach it properly, I made my way toward GZ. I found the cache right where the GPSr said it would be. It is in good condition. A lovely little area. TFTC glasseyes
Quite proud of our efforts finding this one without a GPS. Were going on finding the stump however quite a few here. TFTC

I enjoy coming across such school based environmental projects. Well done. Thanks for the cache.
Looked all round. GZ jumped a bit. Area full of items matching the clue. No cache turned up. Would help to know what we're looking for, too - pill container, 200ml black sistema, etc...
A credit to all those involved. A very tidy and established spot. Enjoyed walking around it and easy find for cache but well disguised. Finally spotted another basket fungus too. Always exciting..... TFTC.
