Logs
Actually found this once a while back but forgot to log it. I remember it took us a while to found.
Brownsnakemob bought me to North Lakes on a drizzly Saturday afternoon to find a couple more geocaches.
Walked up to the gz and immediately spotted something. I said to brownsnakemob it probaby wouldn't be that but he told me to check it out anyway.
Hey presto! Great container. I have one of these at home, I need to place it one of these days.
Thanks for the cache ayepeacee.

Thanks for the cache ayepeacee.
This was intended to be a Melbourne Cup numbers run on the geocycle taking in the North Lakes and Redcliffe area. Unfortunately ayepeacee had played with my mind at three previous caches.
However, this must be the one and only that I spied immediately in the entire day at North Lakes. As i was to discover there were still many challenges to overcome.

We only found this one because Princess Ninja kicked it accidentally and dislodged it. We didn't think it was it until closer inspection when it became obvious. We put it back in it's tricky position.

2nd of 3 finds today at 14:18.
Buoyed by my good fortune last weekend at finding your caches, ayepeacee, I thought I would try my luck at this cache and your other, as they were annoying me as unfound caches closest to home.
It didn't get off to a good start (or so I thought) as the car parks I wanted to use one of were taken and I had to park further away. However, that actually turned out to be a good thing as I approached from a different direction, one which didn't disturb the dog like last time, said hello to a muggle walking his dog, waited for him to round the corner, looked to my left and right again and then retrieved what I thought was the cache. It came away easily so I thought it must have been.
The object used to ensure it stayed in the ground also gave it away. A quality cache as always. I retrieved the logbook which was a little damp (but perfectly able to be signed) before putting everything back together and returning the cache to its hiding spot.
Success! It's also great that it wasn't as difficult as I thought it would be. I hoped at this point that it'd bode well for Modified monster truck thingy. Spoiler: It didn't.

I was back to knock over some more of APC's caches. I had intended to knock over this one last (if time permitted), but the CO's multi put me over this side of 'town', so there was no point going back and forward.
A quick walk down to the park and a look around ,before diving in, quickly revealed the cache. I knew I would finally find one of these one day after wrongly identifying and wrecking non-caches in the past. Thanks for another interesting cache APC. The logbook is a little wet inside though if you're ever in the area.

Arriving at GZ, Mr Parko decided it was time to sit on his butt and watch me do all the work between muggles... unfortunately, I wasn't getting very far
After a while he got up and went for a little walk... There it is he said, oh dear, how did I miss that [?] I was looking for something similar but was a little off track. Thanks for the hunt ayepeacee

Very lucky find as youngest son grabs it just as I am about to tell him to leave "that" alone! Most creatively hidden cache we have found so far!
We knew this was not going to be easy the minute we arrived at GZ. With a chain saw wielding muggle taking to his wattle bush with demented fervour and repeatedly glancing our way we treaded warily choosing, after a few minutes, to PAF and hopefully locate the cache without undue attention. I did have 'my grandson lost his ball' story ready, but luckily we didn't need it and found the cache safely tucked away, leaving the poor muggle yelling at both the wattle and his barking dog as we headed on for our next cache. Thanks ayepeacee.
We very nearly didn't attempt this one as the muggle living closest to GZ was out with his hedge trimmer, far too close for comfort, and clearly suspicious of a pair of walkers who weren't walking anywhere. The seat I hoped to use to give him a false sense of security proved useless, as nobody in their right mind would choose to sit there. The device was pointing me somewhere the muggle would DEFINITELY have come over and interrogated us, so rather than risk exposing the cache, we moved off away from GZ and put in a call to a previous finder, who suggested an approach that would minimize suspicious appearing activity, and it worked a treat! Nice hide, again, never seen one exactly like that before . TFTC, ayepeacee. =^.^=
It's ok ayepeacee you haven't lost your memory we didn't visit this one together... I read your logs and I think Ninnes thought i was remembering not reading Yes we found a snakeskin and i was being a chicken so i called a friend to ask if it was on that side or the other side of the path. Turns out GZ was a few metres out for me and we approached from the desired side and after a few minutes Ninnes found the cache. She admitted she wouldn't have looked there except that at one of your other caches i may have checked a similar spot.. but it wasn't the cache Thanks for the cache

This was number 6 of 17 caches found on an enjoyable caching day with Net88.
As we drove into this area, Net mentioned that it looked familiar. It soon dawned on her that she had attempted this cache before, but had DNF'd it. As we headed down the path I tried to gain any information about the cache that I could from her, but it seemed she was at a total loss as to what we were looking for despite previously visiting with the CO.
At the GZ, both of our GPS readers were bouncing about, so we knew we were in for a difficult challenge. We began poking about in likely spots, however the best I could come up with was a snake skin and an empty wrapper for a personal item. Net decided that it would be best to PAF before one of us ended up in hospital, and it soon became clear that we were TOTALLY looking in the wrong place.
Once we had corrected our search area, it was not long before I discovered the cache. I actually would not have thought to look there (having never experienced that type of container before), except that Net may have broken something similar earlier while searching for another cache. We pulled the logbook out and signed it and I'm hoping that I replaced the logbook correctly.
TFTC Ayepeacee. I will eventually make this another favourite (despite evilness) once I have enough favourite points.

After experiencing a bit of a nightmare with Nyssaflutterby on MMTTT this beautiful sunday arvo, I was coerced (not really) to come and obtain this cache while in the area, accompanied by Nys, flutterby-munchkin and none other than the CO Ayepeacee. After being told of its relative ease, I decided this find might make me feel better after the last. I did not have my GPSr with me so was relying on my phone which said i was 8m from the cache even after i had walked like 6m, it hadnt changed, so i put it in my pocket and just started wandering through gardens in the dark with flutterby-munchkin in tow willing to help. Soon enough the CO was kind enough to at least direct me to GZ it then did not take much time to grab the cache. Thanks again Ayepeacee.. this cache felt like a gift after the others
Visited this one at daytime today and it seems it was there all along!! , this isn't the first time I've DNF'd my own hide, pretty awkward.......my bad.
Couldn't find it and the noisy dog chaised us away. We will try another day
Out and about today with Net88 and Brother Colin.
We got to GZ and began our search but had no luck It was getting dark, then 2 PAF's failed, so we called it quits. Must come back.

IolantheK Brother Colin and I turned up about dusk to look for this one. With a bit of searching and the sky getting darker we tried 2 PAF and neither one remembered anything helpful. We decided to leave this one for another day.
Out and about this arvo with Net88 and IolantheK.
We arrived just on dusk and started searching. As Net88 said we tried PAF x2 without success.
O well, one for another day.

Another great hide from APC. I am sensing a style here - don't want to be predictable.
Nah, not predictable except that if you've seen it once, you won't see it again
Thanks for a great cache APC.

A fairly quick find, once I stopped looking the wrong place. This is classic cacher camo, well done.
Thanks

Easy to GZ then search and search and search. Began to doubt ourselves and ready to leave and then saw if. Brilliant cache, well done.
Nice hide in a container that looks part of the landscape.... but obviously is not!

This was the mid point in my mixed day. Second attempt, second DNF (another one of your caches).
I wasn't able to give this one a lengthy search as the sprinkling rain wasn't enough to deter a muggle walking his dog and child. I left at 15:50.

knew what i was looking for which made it really easy...
logs a little wet though but can still sign

This was a bit tricky to find initially. There was a guard dog in the top yard that made sure our presence was known. Very well disguised. TFTC.
Figured out where the title came from pretty quickly. Well done - good to see some imagination! Thanks.
I wandered around the area for a while. Luckily the coordinates were spot on. I spied something which seemed to be out of place and on investigation it produced a log book.
Thanks ayepeacee.
Thanks ayepeacee.
at 11:21. Not one of those! GPSr lead us a dance in the wrong places for a while.
TFTC again Ayepeacee. This cache is also fine.

This was cache #3 of the day. As part of my introduction to the world of caching, Gunnie69 had previously sent photos of some of his caches. Teamed with Gunnie69 for the day, G69 was able to spot a likely candidate on the approach to GZ. Once we rounded on GZ, I was able to spot the cache right away. Signed logbook and headed off for the next cache on the list.
Thanks for the cache ayepeacee

Bubbly_One and I took the high road enroute to this one and as the GPS counted down I glanced to where the arrow was pointing and spotted a likely candidate before we hit GZ... Hmm, I think I can see this one already I said, but it was B1's hunt...
I had forwarded some photo's of some of my caches during the week, to give B1 an idea on what she might see out on the trails. How fortunate that this was remarkably similar to one of them... [^]
As a result of her newly acquired information, she was all over this one and had the container in hand as soon as we arrived... A natural some might say...
A sticked and name in the log, it was time to move on. As suggested the log is a little damp but it was usable...
Cheers ayepeacee

TFTC. Another relatively quick find today. The weather held off so we could find this and some others nearby. The log book is getting a bit moldy.
A day out caching with Leadninja, she was quick to spot this one. Liked it a lot. TFTC
1st "ayepeacee" find for the day... geoWife did a good one seeing it quite quickly... makes a change.

Found at 0957 with my sister. Took some finding and when spotted I could not beleive that I didn't find it much earlier. Cache OK and dry. TFTC
961 - Why is this cache called this I wondered as I exited the geomobile nearby and walked down the lane to the search area. As quick as that my question was answered!!. We got out of the lane as quick as possible and entered the search zone. I immediately spied the cache and wondered if that would be it, had a quick look around at the trampled garden bed and then went back to what I first found. Signed the log at 3:56pm on a lovely afternoon. We spied three kookaburras on a branch of a tree not far from GZ. A look at the log book seems to indicate it was discovered by a pair of muggles called Luke and Nick on 22/6. If they are muggles they did the right thing, signed the log book and rehid the cache. Thanks for the inventive cache ayepeacee.
Took me three attempts to find this one. No idea what I was looking for. Very noisy cache. Terrific cache. TNLN TFTC Thanks ayepeacee

Second time lucky! We were looking so closely at the wrong thing when GeoMaddi said hey Mum, check this out.....& there it was!! TFTC.
Awesome container, found it straight away but didn't try hard enough to open it so we spent half hour climbing through the bush before trying again =\ so silly
Found by Sunshine Toledo and Jinga 2 at 12:16pm. That was very difficult as I think the neighbours are right onto it as the dogs were barking and people were coming in and out of their houses to see what all the disturbance was about and we were as quiet as a mouse too. The cache took several minutes to identify. TFTC
Another cache i've been meaning to get for a while. I parked the truck quite close to GZ and made the quick dash in. There were council workers doing gardening close by so i had to be quite stealthy. After a bit of a search around GZ, i spotted the little devil and managed to retrieve it from the bush side of things without the workers seeing me. The log was quickly signed and i replaced the treasure the same way as i retrieved it (the hard way) Thanks again ayepeacee
After scratching around in the bush for a while I had to stop and have a bit of a think. Then I noticed something that I haven’t seen for quite a while and there was the cache. Great hide – the difficulty is worth more than 1 I think.

Made our way to GZ and were a bit leery of the area with nearby muggles merrily gardening away. Reading recent logs, we decided to look a little further away from GZ and Loki soon spotted it without any cobblers pegs or crunching of leaves. Thanks ayepeacee

Look out Stackhead-deluxo - we're coming for you.
We found it! I was just about to give up - but keen eyed daughter found it just before a sprinkle of rain. Great camo hide. Loved it!
I noticed this one had popped up on my radar so I thought I would go and check it out. I never realised how extensive North Lakes really is. I had read the previous logs and was prepared for a big search. I located where I thought GZ was and started the search. Hmm.. fossick.. fossick. Nothing. Decided to widen my search a bit and simplify things. Oh.. hello there.. YOIK. A cache It was in excellent condition. TFTC ayepeacee
Was looking for a long time, thinking this was a needle in a haystack.... Then I saw somthing that seemed like a cache... Checked and wahoo FTF!!! Thanks ayepeacee, nice hide!!
I had to work this morning, so couldn't leave when I got the notification. Ended up at GZ at 2.50pm to grab the 2TF. Clever hide
