I checked fairly well around the areas i suspected it might be due to description and clue, discounting the actual shelter cause that didn't make much sense it being there, then had to duck in the shelter, away from a muggle and very rarely does this happen, i stood on it. Safe to say a couple of kids may have found this one too. Log and cache container were all there but just lying on the ground so i signed and put back together. CO should check though as i didn't know where it was originally placed and have quite probably put it in the wrong place. To other caches, who look for this one, don't rely on hint or description as currently neither of them make sense.
Is the cache supposed to be attached to those nails on the signpost? No sign other than a sign..
When I saw the title of this page I suspected the cache might be 'there' in an obvious spot but am I surprised as to where it was? yes I **am!**

Started in the wrong place where I thought it would be, but that was wrong. About to give up then saw other option. TFTC
Found quickly and in good condition thanks to a pretty straight forward hint. cheers eyespyben.
No kids or busses today, being a Sunday, and a quick find with the hint. Unfortunately the shelter is a bit smelly. Signed log and replaced cache as found. TFTC eyespyben!
Out and about today, collecting caches around Huntly to add to the tally. The weather fined up nicely and a had a great day finding hides. I had decided that it would be more prudent to save this hide for my return trip back from Lake Waahi, so that is what I did. Parked up safely next to GZ and quickly spotted the hide. Formalities completed it was back onto the road and off to the next hide. Cheers for the cache placement!
Ha ha ha, because I hadn't read the clue I walked around in the special place for a while wondering where the cache could be hidden. Quickly spotted and signed once I finally did read the clue
Time for a little night caching and the chance to give new head torch a try out. Worked a treat. TFTC
Funny shade of white. Didn't stop me finding it though. Local walked by with his dog so waited for him to leave. Grabbed the cache signed the log and went on our way. TFTC
A Dot Day... The mission for today: find mid-level D Rated caches. Gap (of Fap and Gap) and I are heading to South Auckland. Everything in between is fair game... Our main targets are Marmis' Challenge Caches (the ones we've qualified for). However, as we were driving through the countryside, we discovered others where we also met the target...
It was now after 9 PM and we were a long way from home. At about now, I mentioned to Gap that we were only a couple of hours shy of the next day. As this was also a Dot Day for both of us, what did he think of caching until just after midnight and then calling it quits. He was keen. This approach would spare us from needing to venture out tomorrow... This was a quick find in the dark. Now we need a cup of something... TFTC.

Grabbed quickly on the way to the lake. Not the safest of corners to hang-a-uee on.
Day 3, of my 3 day caching trip, in Huntly & Ngaruawahia.
Today was dedicated to walking round the lakes and finding as many Huntly caches as I had time for.
Had changed my mind about walking all the way around, so was no heading by car down to 'Lock Weavers Monster' cache.
Grateful of the parking spot to pull into. TFTC

And a very pleasant spot too - I imagine it would be very welcome on a rainy day! TFTC
good little hide, got a facefull of dust/grass as the harvester drove by in the neigbouring paddock, gotta love our timing! [8]
A nice easy find. Not the height of luxury for the kids but keeps the rain off I guess.
